"I can go home alone," Beckham asserted, a casual wave accompanying his words. "You all carry on. I'll be fine."

"Mm," Damien assented with a nod. He instructed a couple of trusty bodyguards to accompany Beckham via helicopter back to Tanner Residence. Meanwhile, Mr. Hampson dismissed the remaining guards. Eventually, only Mr. Hampson and Otto accompanied Cherise and Damien to Gray Residence.

Amidst the journey, Colin eagerly divulged insights about each member of the Gray family to Damien and Cherise. "Here's my uncle, Anthony Gray, the current head of the Gray clan. Despite his stern exterior, he's actually a good person. And this is my aunt, Dorothy Vines. She's always treated me well."

Four years ago, while employed at Lermille Hospital, a female patient in dire need of a heart transplant was admitted. As a suitable donor heart remained elusive, the patient lingered in the hospital for an extended period. During that time, the patient had a boyfriend whom Cherise had met several times to discuss the patient's condition.

Later on, Lucy, who was pregnant at the time, sought Cherise's assistance and subsequently found herself in a car accident...
