Chapter 1025
âLet go of meâ¦Ty⦠Mmph!â
All of Vickyâs voice and struggle were easily stopped by Tyler when a voice suddenly came from
outside the door.
âVicky, are you awake?â
Vickyâs body instinctively tensed up. She looked at Tyler in disbelief. She had thought that he was the
only one who came into her house, so she never expected that Aurora would be in there too.
Tyler smiled when he saw just how pale Vicky had become.
âI didnât want to leave Aurora in the car, so I brought her into the guest room.â
This used to be Tylerâs house, so he knew the layout of the house very well.
Vicky looked at his face, which was very close to hers, and suddenly felt as though he was a stranger,
and that made her very afraid.
âYou should send her on her way if you donât want an audience for our show,â said Tyler before kissing
her violently on the lips again.
Vicky had never felt so humiliated before. Her whole body started trembling while tears rolled down her
cheeks.
Tyler kissed away her tears and whispered into her ear,â
Vicky, tell me the truth. You donât really hate me, do you?â
Vicky could lie with her words and expressions, but her body could not lie. She knew Tyler would never
joke about something like this. He would do what he said. Her lips parted a little, but before she could
say anything, her tears came rolling down again.
Aurora, who was still waiting for her outside the door, thought Vicky was still asleep. She knocked three
times again, then left when there was still no reply from inside the room.
It was already past noon by the time Vicky left her room. She thought Aurora had left long ago.
However, after going downstairs, she realized that not only did she not leave, but she was actually
sitting on the sofa in the living room reading a book.
Aurora looked up at Vicky when she saw her coming down the stairs.
âVicky, were you the one who brought me here last night? Thank you for not sending me back home.â
She got up and added, âBy the way, you havenât had your lunch yet, right? I bought you some
breakfast, but you didnât come down, so itâs a bit cold now. Iâll heat it up for you now.â
All the colors drained out of Vickyâs face when she saw Aurora. Her mind instantly went to Tyler, who
was still taking a shower in the bathroom. She abruptly turned around and ran upstairs.
âVicky, why are you so pale? Are you not feeling well?â Aurora asked quizzically.
Vickyâs voice was extremely hoarse. âI⦠I suddenly remembered that I left something upstairs, so Iâm
going back to take it.â
Without waiting for Auroraâs reply, she ran up to her room.
Back in her room, Tyler had just come out of the bathroom, and he was drying his hair. He acted as
though he was in his own house, without a care in the world.
âBring me some clothes,â he said when he saw Vicky come back into the room.
Vicky was actually panicking. âTyler, Auroraâs still here!â
His eyes darkened. âSo what?â
âSo what? Is he really asking me that?â thought Vicky.
Out loud, she replied, âYouâll bump into her if you go down now!â
Tylerâs expression remained indifferent. He did not see anything wrong in what they were doing. âSo,
youâre asking me to stay in this room until sheâs gone?â
Vicky did not know how to answer him. Her mind was all jumbled up. She had not even figured out how
to deal with Old Madam Harrisonâs birthday party, and now this?
