Chapter 925
âWho do the voices belong to?â âOne of the voices belongs to Tyler Hart. Do you truly think heâs so poor
that he needs to make money off the casino? This auction is nothing but a game of whoâs the most
audacious for the rich.â
âWow, so Tyler Hart is here, too? What about the other person? I wonder where he got the courage to
bid against Tyler.â
âThe other person⦠Well, I heard that heâs been bidding against Tyler for a few nights in a row.
However, itâs a pity â cause he canât win against Tyler; not when heâs in Tylerâs territory.â
The auction lot closed while everyone discussed the sky- high price. Just like that, âthe-woman-who-
can-win-in-any- card-gameâ was sold off at 1.5 million dollars.
A series of awed gasps went around the room; even Vicky thought it was ridiculous that her husband
paid so much for a woman who could âwin in any card gameâ.
âEven if that woman is made out of gold, she still wonât be worth a million five hundred thousand
dollars,â thought Vicky. However, she did not stop Tyler from doing so. In fact, she found the whole
thing so ridiculous that she started to see the funny side of it.
After a while, the waiter walked over to Tylerâs seat. In the dim light, the waiter took the bank card from
Tylerâs hand and walked away with a smile on his face. About ten minutes later, the waiter respectfully
returned the card to Tyler, and the latter got up and left the room through a passage specially reserved
for the clubâs VIP members to use.
âIs he going to check out what he bought?â Vicky wondered.
âThe-woman-who-can-win-in-any-card-gameâ was the last of the auction lot, and for the rest of the
night, the club put on various performances.
Vicky glanced at the direction of the VIP passage then got up and left quietly. Her membership card
was of the highest VIP tier, so she was also allowed to use the passage.
However, after walking through the resplendent corridor and entering the lobby, she realized that there
was no one there at all. She looked around, wanting to find Tyler, when she suddenly paused in front of
a room.
The door to that room was slightly ajar, and Vicky heard a familiar voice coming from inside.
âTyler, what on earth do you think youâre doing? Does Vicky know that youâre messing around outside?â
âMister Sparks, donât you think you should mind your business instead of mine?â replied Tyler quickly in
his deep voice.
âTyler, if you donât love Vicky, you should stop wasting her time and let her-â
âLet her go?â interjected Tyler. âSo that the two of you can rekindle your relationship? Is that what you
want?â
Harveyâs eyes darkened. âWell, you should treat her better if youâre not going to let her go. In fact, you
shouldnât do anything that can disappoint her.â
âOur marriage has nothing to do with you,â said Tyler coldly.
âTyler, you donât want to let her go nor do you want to treat her better, so what exactly do you want?â
âHarvey.â Tylerâs tone became colder. âWhat right do you have to say all this to me? Is it because you
used to be her ex-boyfriend or ex-fiance?â
âThatâs all in the past.â
Tyler smiled faintly at him. âYour time is over. You can win against me at all and Gloria has already left
Stoneford City, so tell me⦠What are you still doing here?â
Harveyâs eyes darkened, and he remained silent.
âVicky is my woman. Even if I donât want her anymore, you still have no right to be with her,â said Tyler
lightly.
âTyler, you can stop all this bullsh*t with me. Just answer me this: do you still love her?â asked Harvey
coldly.
