Third Person's P.O.V.
Don looked both at Amelia and Vlad now getting annoyed at how he was completely ignored. He also didn't like the fact that Amelia blushed just by how Vlad said her name. He was curious to know why this guy wanted to talk to Amelia and why hasn't she ever mentioned him before. The feeling that Don was getting from Vlad pissed him off. There was no way in hell he would let that guy talk with her.
"Who the hell are you, man? Why do you need to talk with her?" Don asked taking a step closer to Vlad.
Vlad gave Don a threatening look making him back up almost tripping down. Amelia could instantly tell that things could get messy if Don bothers her mate further.
"Don. It's alright. You best better head back home. I have to talk with him too." Amelia said trying to get Don to listen to her.
"No way in hell I'm letting you go with that guy Amelia. I got a bad feeling about him." Don tried to get Amelia to see that something about Vlad was off and going with him could lead to trouble.
"Best you leave kid. I'm in no mood to deal with you." Vlad said with his fangs itching drink him dry of his blood.
"Hey, what's going on out here?" Lex asked. Lex came out wanting to see why Amelia was taking so long to come back when her eyes landed on Vlad. "Who's tall dark and handsome looking at my brother like he wants to murder him?"
Amelia's face palmed from her comment cringing forgetting that if Lex saw any hot guy, she will point it out for all to hear.
"Lex. Do me a huge favor and take your brother home, please. I need to go and have a talk with Mr. Tall dark and handsome." Amelia said rushing past Don and grabbing Vlad's arm running off with him into the night like some epic love scene. If only it was just that Amelia screamed in her head. She was happy that Vlad complied and ran off with her otherwise someone would have died tonight. Having her best friends' brother almost killed will be even harder to deal with.
Amelia stopped trying to catch her breath when she realized that she has taken her mate into a nearby park that was surrounded by woods where it was even darker out. The only light that shined was from the full moon that was out.
"Sorry about that...I can't have any trouble happening now." Amelia said catching her breath. Vlad smiled for seeing her this way made him chuckle.
"Who was that man you were hugging?" Vlad asked Amelia containing his anger so that he would not scare her off.
Amelia sighed. "That was my best friend Lex's brother. He was just coming over to check on me when Lex worried him about me. But everything is all good."
Amelia decided that it would be best not to tell him that Don asked her out on a date. She didn't want her mate running back to where Don is and killing him for good. If Vlad was a werewolf then Don would have been bye-bye, by now. Most werewolf's find it hard to hold back their wolf from coming out especially for alpha's who have it harder to control that rage.
"Alright. The reason why I came back to see you again was that it was wrong of me to have left you like that. And if you might have thought I rejected you then you are wrong. I didn't." Vlad explained very fast feeling embarrassed.
Amelia felt her whole body feel the sense of relief run free knowing that he didn't reject her.
"Can I know your name since you already know mine," Amelia asked. Amelia wanted to know the name of her sexy mate.
"Well, this tall dark and handsome mate of yours is named Vlad. Pleasure my love." Vlad said smiling with his fangs showing making Amelia's body shiver wanting to know what it would feel like if he bit her. She had heard that a bit can be pleasurable for mates while for enemy's would feel the full pain begging for death.
"Please ignore my crazy friends' comment. She's like that with every hot guy she sees."
Vlad smiled. "So, I'm hot to you too then?"
Amelia's face burned up as she could feel the rise in her cheeks for the first time. She knows very well that Lex is going to pay later on for it.
"Yes, I do. I just can't believe that I'm mated to a vampire. It's incredible."
"So, you're okay with having a vampire mate? Most would rather date the same race then mix with others."
Amelia smiled. "Well, I'm not like most. And if you didn't know already, I'm a snow fairy."
"I figured when you grabbed me. Your hand is cold as ice but a hint of warmth to them."
"Smart. Most just think I love the cold."
"I have something to tell you before we talk about many things Amelia."
"What is it?"
Vlad took Amelia's hand pulling her close to him. "I Vlad Cyrus take you, Amelia, as my mate."
Amelia blushed to smile. "I Amelia Crown take you, Vlad, as my mate."
