Chapter 1256:

“Come in! You’ve really given me a pleasant surprise today.” She studied Allison with newfound appreciation. “Everyone dealing with Geltay knows that he isn’t someone who gives compliments lightly, but he just spent five minutes on the phone singing your praises!”

Lizzie shook her head in admiration. “Ms. Clarke, you’re truly remarkable. He even mentioned that if the opportunity arises, I should continue working with you.”

Allison smiled modestly and handed the document to her. “This wasn’t just my doing, Ms. Bellinger. You set everything up perfectly — I just had to push it over the finish line.”

Lizzie looked at the signed document and smiled with satisfaction. “Well done!”

She was truly impressed with Allison. So, she called Fabian right away.

“You’ve really found yourself an incredible partner. We’ve decided to go forward with Arame Tower, Mr. Morgan. I look forward to a successful collaboration.”

Fabian was momentarily taken aback. Though he wasn’t sure what had transpired, hearing Lizzie’s praise for Allison and Kellan made him smile. He thought back to Allison’s bold, self-assured demeanor. In her, he saw a reflection of his younger self. They were both confident, fearless, and relentless. But now, it was the younger generation’s time to shine.

“They’re highly capable,” he said with certainty. “Miss Bellinger, if you ever need reliable partners in Ontdale, they’d be an excellent choice.” His words echoed what Geltay had said just moments earlier.

Lizzie couldn’t help but chuckle. “That’s exactly what Geltay told me on the phone. Seems like these two have really left an impression.”

After hanging up, she turned to Allison, exchanging contact information. “The Diamond Feather order is yours now. I trust you won’t let me down.”

Allison nodded, her expression steady. “You have my word. I’ll give it my all.”

Before long, she and Kellan returned to Dibya Group. Fabian was very pleased with their progress. He retrieved a contract he had already prepared.

“For this order, we’re offering you two sixty percent of the profits. I hope this marks the start of a long and fruitful partnership.”

Relief flooded Allison’s chest. Finally, they had cleared this hurdle. But just as she was about to inquire about Arame Tower, the office phone rang—sharp and insistent.

His brows knitted together as he picked up. “What’s going on?”

On the other end, his secretary, Allan, sounded frazzled. “Mr. Morgan, we can’t stop them. The government’s fire department and drug enforcement unit have stormed Aröme Tower with a search warrant.”

Fabian’s expression darkened. “What reason did they give?”

“They claim someone reported Aröme Tower for contraband. Now they’re checking every employee’s identification.” Allan wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. “It’s clear they’re looking for something.”

“They’re not here by coincidence. Someone’s stirring up trouble.” Years of experience had taught Fabian how to handle storms like this. “Tell everyone to keep their cool. I’m on my way.”

“Understood.” Allan followed his instructions.
