Chapter 546:
âIâll give you anything! Money, if thatâs what you want! Iâll add another one hundred million on top!â
Amorâs heart hammered, her skin cold as if submerged in a frozen lake.
âIâll take you to my foreign casinos, help you build a business empire, and grant you a stake in every venture I have! You could oversee all my domestic operations â profits, yours alone! Just say the word.â
Desperate, she laid out every enticing offer, all shreds of dignity discarded.
What she offered was tempting, no doubt, for most.
But Allison only leaned down, her eyes meeting Amorâs with a penetrating gaze.
âTempting⦠but not quite enough.â
She stood before Amor, fingers idly spinning the dagger.
âAfter all, Iâm not interested in your dirty money.â
Even in her calmest moments, Allisonâs beauty held a fierce intensity, but now she radiated a cold, unyielding energy that seemed to harden the air around her.
Today had been a narrow escape; had she not uncovered the cheating, she might have walked straight into Amorâs trap, risking far more than her pride â perhaps even her life.
Amor had taken many lives over the years, and while Allison wasnât innocent either, she had her own reputation for settling scores.

Amorâs breaths grew ragged as she struggled against her captors, catching only half of Allisonâs face in the dim light. The half she saw was calm, almost serene, masking a danger that ran chillingly deep.
In a split second, she realized she had unleashed a devil in human form from the very start.
Her confidence that she could control this situation had been an illusion, a clever ruse dangled like bait before her.
Regret washed over her, sharp and acidic, but the realization came far too late.
The dagger glinting in Allisonâs hand came down with brutal precision, slicing through flesh and bone in one clean stroke.
A sickening snap filled the air.
Blood poured forth, staining the floor as Amorâs two severed fingers tumbled to the ground, landing with a soft, final thud before they bounced once, then twice, lying still like discarded meat.
It took two, maybe three seconds, before Amorâs scream ripped through the room.
âAhhhhhhh!â The sound tore out of her throat, raw and primal, chilling everyone to the bone.
Allison stepped back, not a single drop of blood marring her clothes.
Andres, standing closest to Amor, felt the hot splash on his face. With a calm that bordered on reverence, he wiped the blood from his cheek and nodded toward Allison. âMiss Scarlet Snake, cheaters do deserve a proper lesson,â he remarked with an approving smirk.
Every pair of eyes in the room widened in terror, fixated on the gory spectacle.
