Chapter 852:
Kyloâs expression didnât change. His voice was calm and cold. âToss him into the sea.â
âUnderstood,â the bodyguard replied without hesitation.
At that moment, Thalia stepped out from the shadows. Ronanâs eyes lit up as he desperately tried to call for her help.
âMmm⦠mmm!â he mumbled, wriggling against the gag.
But the muffled sounds barely reached her. Kylo didnât even glance in Ronanâs direction.
âI hope you can forgive me for what I must do,â he said, addressing Thalia.
She gave a faint smile and nodded. âOf course. Do what you feel is necessary.â
Thalia appeared in a flowing white gown, exuding grace and sophistication. As a shrewd businesswoman, she always placed her interests above anything else. She hardly spared Ronan a glance, her focus elsewhere.
âItâs just one husband lost,â she said casually. âI have plenty more where that came from.â With a slight smile, she lifted her glass in a toast. âLetâs hope this doesnât interfere with our partnership.â
Ronanâs face went pale, his eyes wide with fear. He had always believed Thalia cared for him, at least a little. But in that moment, he realized that she saw him as nothing more than a plaything to be discarded.
As soon as Ronan was taken care of, Kylo allowed a soft smile to spread across his face.

âMs. Clarke, I must admit, I didnât expect to see you again so quickly,â he said.
Allison wasted no time and got straight to business.
âIâm here for one reason, Mr. Vargas,â she said firmly. âYou havenât forgotten the promise you made, have you?â
âNot at all,â Kylo replied smoothly. âWhy donât we continue this conversation somewhere more private?â
âFine by me,â she agreed.
Without hesitation, Kylo escorted Allison to the exclusive VIP section on the top floor, leaving the doorman staring after them in disbelief. No one had ever been granted access to the top floor before, and the sight left him dumbfounded.
Allison, oblivious to the significance of the gesture, immediately cut to the chase.
âMr. Vargas, you know who owns the yacht anchored next door, donât you?â she asked directly.
âOf course,â Kylo answered with ease. âThat belongs to Immortality Pharmaceuticals.â
Kylo turned his head toward the window, his eyes settling on the sleek white yacht.
