“I hear that cruise will be buzzing with excitement tomorrow. You went there today to get everything ready, didn’t you?” Kylo asked, his tone light but probing.

“Absolutely,” Allison replied without hesitation, her lips curling into a playful smile as her eyes met his. “Why? Are you interested?”

“I have no interest in the cruise itself,” Kylo said with a chuckle. “But you, Ms. Clarke, have certainly caught my attention.”

He laughed softly, genuinely amused by her candidness. Her directness had caught him off guard, though it hinted at a certain level of trust. It left him wondering what other mysteries Allison might be keeping under wraps.

“I had someone dig into it,” Kylo added smoothly, his tone shifting to business. “If you’re planning to pull this off, you might find yourself shorthanded.”
