Chapter 24.5// "And he kisses me"
"You can maybe seduce him after the game?" Emily suggests. I just told her that I sort of kissed Carter, at which she nearly punched me. And I told her that I sort of like Elliott to which she's coming up with mad suggestions of how I can get him in bed.
"Emily I think you need to calm it, I said I liked him not that we were in any sort of relationship, anyway he doesn't like me in the slightest" I sigh.
"Like you, the guy keeps glancing at you like the only thing on his mind is you with no clothes on"
I elbow Emily in the stomach for that comment, there are all sorts of people around us and they can start all kinds of gossip.
It's such a professional and vast pitch. There are huge screens and the bleachers are all around the stadium
At the first quarter of the game there were no points scored, both teams were running back and forth like a bunch of idiots and as time progresses the game is going nowhere.
Me, well I'm standing on the bench, on the tip of my toes shouting all sorts of abuse at both teams.
"Alec stop being a wuss and punch the guy"
"Daniel you fucking asshat score a stupid goal"
"Cress it's not as easy as it looks" Emily chirps looking up at me. I ignore her and go back to shouting.
"Grayson do you call that a throw, I call it no effort, work some of that muscle"
That's when the other team score and I swear viciously under my breath.
I seat myself back down in a huff "Well at least you tried" Emily adds kindly.
Soon the referee guy shouts through the speakers that Northwest high score and the points are even.
Time is ticking and everyone is getting tense. I can see that both teams are beginning to tire and slow down but Elliott is showing no efforts of stopping, he's running around the entire pitch at a steady pace tackling every one that gets in his way.
"10 minutes to go' The ref shouts.
Everyone is holding on to the edge of their seats in anticipation. I stand back up and cheer as loud as I can for my team. They have to win they really do, they were so close to the finals last year they can't lose that chance again.
Elliott has the ball, no the tall blonde guy does. Elliot has it again, oh wait he lost it. I look up at the screen and the time is passing rapidly.
Conner has the ball; he's running and dodging at an unbelievable speed.
It's barely a minute to go and everyone is standing up to see what's happening.
Elliott waves his hands at Conner, he's open and there's no one around him. Conner has his eyes set on Elliott, he gives a perfect throw and the ball lands gracefully in Elliott's arms.
My breathing is shallow, Elliott is sprinting for his life, he's so close. I'm gripping on to Emily to keep my balance, my fingers crossed.
That's when I see him fall over and I move forward almost wanting to help him up but there's a cheer, he made it Elliott did it.
The team are throwing themselves at Elliott, roaring in happiness, the sound of the crowd could deafen you.
I instantly run down the steps towards the team, a huge smile on my face.
Everyone's down congratulating the team, I see my brother smiling like never before. I'm so proud of him. I can't see Elliott in the crowd so I back away a bit. I can just imagine Elliott surrounded by girls. I can picture him laughing with them as they all flirt, their hands on his shoulder as he says a single stupid sarcastic comment and they all fall in to laughter.
If he wasn't so gorgeous maybe him and I could have a chance.
Carter has his arms around two different girls. Prick.
"Bet you wish you were one of the girls in Carter's arms" I jump in terror.
I spin around to see Elliott, his hair is falling in his face and he's holding his helmet in his hand.
"I thought you'd be at the centre of that crowd, surrounded by all those girls. They were chanting you're name a minute ago"
"Nah I've been waiting for you" He scratches his arm "I've been lying to you, there's someone, I like someone too"
I feel broken. There's a girl. Of course he's here to ask me for advice, I'm his best friend's sister.
He's going to ask me questions, I'll give him my advice. He'll announce his love to a girl here and I'm going to have to congratulate him, tell him I'm happy for him.
"I've slept with a lot of girls. Do you think she'll still like me?"
"I mean I'd forgive you, just apologise to her"
"I'm sorry" He apologises to me.
"What?"
"I'm sorry, isn't that what I should say?"
"No, well not so blunt. I don't know tell me more about her" Tell me more, pour acid in this growing wound of mine.
"I hurt her a lot, when really every time I did something that would torment her, I was trying to tell her I liked her. No not tell her I like her, more like catch her attention. I'm scared she's going to fall for someone else. I want her, I crave her"
He looks deep in to my eyes, there's still small streaks of mud on his face. He moves closer to me.
"She's so beautiful, and her laugh, its not even funny how much I love it. Oh and the way she's always jealous. Except how can she be jealous when she's the only girl I think of. I just think I'm not good enough for her"
I let out a little snort "Are you joking Elliott, you're funny, annoying and a pain in my ass, how can she not love you?"
He laughs at that, and it's silent between us for a moment.
"Do you love her?" I ask the boy I like, I've never felt so small.
"You can't tell anyone, but I think I do"
I crumble, and turn away from him, tears stinging in my eyes.
"You should tell her, tell her now" My voice catches in my throat.
He tugs at my shoulder, making me turn back to him.
"Cress" His voice is so soft as he cups my cheek.
"Crescent Bay Dawson, I've fallen for you"
This has to be some sort of sick joke, he's lying he must be lying.
"God you're such a fucking idiot Crescent, how could you think I was confessing my love for another girl to you?"
"You can't love me, when there are so many other girls in the world"
He smiles at me "Why would I love any other girl in the world when I can love you?"
And he kisses me.
At first we're both shocked, the feeling of his soft lips against mine makes me feel like I'm burning.
Elliott Grayson is fucking kissing me. His soft lips move urgently against mine, I loop my hands around his neck and my eyelids instantly shut. His presence is making me feel weak but strong all at the same time and I can feel his heartbeat, his heart is drumming so fast.
Carter's kiss has nothing on this.
He opens his mouth to let his sweet breath enter mine. Someone help, because I think I'm going to faint from a hotness overload.
I'm trying to keep my breathing up, this guy really must have amazing breathing skills, though there's no chance that I'm letting go, I'd rather pass out.
When his tongue enters my mouth, it's like that moment when you go down in a rollercoaster, you're insides turn to jelly. Right now the only thing holding me up is Elliott's strong protective grip. He runs his tongue along my bottom lip, and just before he pulls away, he gently bites it.
He places his forehead against mine and I can feel his warm fast breaths on my face. I open my eyes and see his blue eyes filled with lust and passion, he gives me a gentle smile but I give him a full blown grin.
He's still in his football stuff and he bloody stinks, but that doesn't matter.
"I swear Dawson we should win an award for the hottest kiss ever, that was practically porn"
I snort with laughter, he never loses his quirky comments but that is exactly what I love about him.
"I always thought I'd be you're first kiss Dawosn"
"What does it matter, you've kissed thousands of girls"
"That's a bit far Dawson and so what you're the only kiss that's ever mattered" My heart melts at that and he leans down to press his lips against mine again.
A cheer comes from the stadium.
We both turn, only to see our faces on the big screen.
"Shit" Elliott swears under his breath. He takes my hand because we both know the night is not going to end well.

This is it, my ship has sailed. They KISSED, I'm practically crying, I love them so much. How hot was that? I'm thinking to myself if this is their first kiss what am I going to have to do for the wedding proposal cause this was dramatic !!
I wonder what the 2 of our love birds have to go through to be able together, this book is no where near finished so much is gig to happen, but I will fight for this couple.

IMPORTANT: Ohmygod, I'm editing this book after like 2 years and I've changed the kiss completely. Like I've had to create a whole new chapter for it. OMF the old kiss was so cringe when he done it in front of everyone. Thank god that's gone, I hope you enjoy this new and improved kiss. Also chapter 24 part 1 is very different now too.
