We were lying on Rodas's bed after he calmed down. His arms wrapped around me while I lay on his chest, listening to the soft rhythms of his heartbeats. The silence was peaceful and we were enjoying and cherishing every bit of it. I hoped he felt better after releasing his suppressed pain, even if it was not a lot. I hoped he understood that I would always welcome him with open arms whenever he feel vulnerable without judging him.Aurelia was happily gliding around in the tank.Then cutting through the silence, my phone rang in my bag. Rodas moved a bit to let me get up. I smiled and he kissed me on the forehead before I got off the bed and took out the ringing device. "Mom!" I told Rodas before receiving the call. "Hey, mom!" I walked to the window wall and pulled the curtains, revealing the back garden. It was already dark."Where are you?" "Uh- I'm at my friend's home..." There was a pause. Mom probably didn't believe me because she knew I didn't have any close friends with whom I would have sleepovers. "Should I ask Liam to get you?" She asked. "No... I'm ok, Mom" I turned around to look at Rodas getting off the bed."You sure?" "I promise, Mom!" "We will talk about it tomorrow... Take care, honey!" I felt Rodas's chest against my back. "O-Okay... Love you, Mom""Love you too, Honey" I cut the call and turned to face Rodas."Don't do it when I'm talking to Mom" I whispered. Rodas chuckled and took the phone away from my hand before putting it on the table. "Do what?" He asked."Don't surprise me by holding so suddenly" He pushed back some of the hair strands away from my face with a playful smirk. The moon cast its soft glow on his face, gently illuminating the contours of his face. "You like it, Don't you?" He said, finally landing his green gaze on me. My cheek burned, dealing with the emotions churning inside my stomach. "Can I kiss you?" He asked. I nodded subtly with a smile. He gently lowered his head, brushing his lips over mine, while his hands grabbed my waist. I tiptoed, completely pressing our lips. It was a soft and tender kiss. With a feather-light touch, his fingers glided away from my waist and over my hands and then rested behind my neck.I opened my mouth, allowing him to enter his tongue. Then suddenly it was rough. I closed my eyes, savouring the sensation as every nerve in my body came alive. Our bodies pressed together as we tasted every bit of our lips. His hand roamed over my back while my fingers traced the strength of his shoulders. We broke our kiss, breathless and yearning for more. We looked into each other's eyes filled with love, lust and vulnerability. We knew we wanted more. I tucked the edge of his shirt and he immediately got rid of it. My eyes landed on his left chest covered in a tattoo of crimson-red rose covered in thorns. He let my fingers trace over it. I was captivated. It was my first time seeing it.Rodas leaned over to kiss my nape. "Are you ok?" He asked. I nodded. "Elora, Look at me!" His deep rough voice gave me goosebumps. I felt weak in my knees. I raised my head to look at him and he immediately captured my lips again.Then I was lifted off the ground. My back hit the soft mattress causing me to bump against his chest. He set himself on top of me, eyes never leaving mine. "You sure about this?" He asked again. I kissed the scar above his eyes in response."I won't hold back then..." He whispered near my ears before biting my earlobe. I was flustered, my heart was beating so fast at the thought of us making love. It was going to be my first time and I really wanted to experience it with Rodas.In front of his burning green gaze, my clothes were removed leaving me with nothing but a rapidly beating heart and a flustered face. "You're beautiful!" He told me over and over again. He showered me with kisses and opened the beautiful door of pleasure that I never knew existed. His every single touch awakened the fire within me. I shuddered and trembled under him as our bodies moved in perfect harmony. The time ceased to exist and the room filled with whispers and moans that left our mouths along with the sound of our naked skin. We lay on the bed side by side with our bodies covered in sweat, catching our breaths. Rodas intertwined our fingers together and kissed the back of my palm."Thank you!" He whispered. I turned my head to look at him with a smile. "Thank you for being with me," "You don't have to say it," I told him. "But I'm really glad." He said, "Sometimes, I might disappear for days or even months. When that happens, Don't go anywhere... Jeremy will always be with you. Just have trust and wait for me" His words pained me. I just couldn't imagine being away from him for that long but of course, I already understood that being together with him wasn't going to be an easy journey.  "Do you understand?" Rodas asked again, tightening his grip on my hand. I nodded. " I do... Just don't try to disappear completely" I mumbled.He laughed at my words."No one can make me disappear... I'm strong, you know that?" "I know... " My eyes fell upon his tattoo again. It looked so good on him. "Rodas...""Hm?" "Should we get a couple tattoo?" I asked, amused by the sudden popping idea in my head. "Why?" "I want to feel connected to you"He chuckled. "Yeah? That's lame" he joked.I slapped his shoulder lightly and he pulled me closer to his side."You wouldn't say it if I die tomorrow..." I said jokingly and poked his cheeks with my fingers.Rodas looked at me with narrowed eyes."You dare say it again..." I giggled, burying myself in his warm embrace. The next day, we got a tattoo together. A bracket sign. Rodas suggested it. He said we will be together forever inside that sign. It sounded silly but I loved it. I got it on my ankle while Rodas got it on his wrist. Falling in love felt so beautiful at that moment.
