Shit shit shit, Abhimanyu stares at his phone, listening to the voice note he has send to Amrita he pull his hair.
He pace in the hall while his friends are sleeping on the floor as they are in hangover. While walking, his gets hit with Anirudh's leg and trembling on his step.
Abhimanyu shook his head and left the house after having lemon juice. He drives slowly to his flat, his mind only having a thought...what Amrita would be thinking about him !! The way he had said in the voice note can't be defended to anyone and what would he deny when everything he has said is true!
Reaching his flat he took a long shower and came back to his room again staring at their chat.
Should I call her and explain myself?? But what would I explain he thought again.
He closed his eyes, the blunder is now done Abhimanyu, now the blunder is DONE!
He took a pillow and covered his face but then he again listen to her voice note.

"Baani I think we are over thinking, he was just complimenting me" Amrita said as they went close to the class
"The way he spoke in that voice note just doesn't say that he was just complimenting you Amrita!"
"But...Argh I don't wanna think about it" She press her head
Basni let out a small laugh "you have listened to that voice note more than 50 times and have not slept because you have been thinking only about it!"
She gave a reality check which Amrita didn't needed at all.
"Okay decided!" Amrita said stopping
Baani grinned "what?"
"I am bunking his class !" Said Amrita turning around to go but Baani held her arm while Amrita tried to run "Baani let me go I can't face him"
"You have to Amrita he is our professor and it will make things awkward!"
"Baani I am shivering so bad, I might faint in front of him, understand Baani" Amrita pleaded
Baani laughed "and it would be awesome, he will pick you up himself, it would be a romantic scene"
Baani drag her to the class and Amrita has made a pouting face.
Meanwhile Abhimanyu is in the corridor, telling himself it will be okay, don't be nervous when you will look at her, if she will talk then you talk, no extra stuff to be said Abhimanyu, nothing.
Abhimanyu closed his eyes and walked towards the class.
As soon as he stepped in, his eyes began to look for Amrita and there she is, hiding behind a student.
Abhimanyu looked away and began with the lecture and tried not to look at Amrita but failed.
As he was teaching Baani shouted "Sir Amrita has a doubt"
Amrita's eyes came out and Abhimanyu's body shivered.
"Baani?" She whispered frowning
"Yes Amrita?" Abhimanyu asked with a straight face even though his condition is very much faint worthy
She stood up. Cracking her fingers with the bench "umm Woh sir...voice note" she blurted out in nervousness
Baani cupped her mouth to control her laugh and he began to cough loudly.
Amrita shook her head immediately "I mean, sorry, Can you repeat the l-last slide, O..once More sir"
Baani drinks water and Abhimanyu just nodded. She sat down and snatched water from Baani, gulping it all of it in one go.

Once the period was Over Abhimanyu debated if he should talk to Amrita or not.
Then he decided he should. After a while he calls Amrita and she gets scared "Baani?" She screamed
"Pick up!"
Amrita shook her head and Baani nods
Amrita takes the call "h-hello?"
"Amrita can you meet me in the department room? Want to discuss something!" he said scratching his head
Baani signal her to say Yes. Amrita shook her head "Yes Sir"
Baani smiled victoriously and hugged Amrita.
"Okay I am waiting here" said Abhimanyu
"Hmm"
She cuts the call and looks at Baani "what should I do Now?"
"Go and Talk to him, what else?"
"I am nervous" she take Baani's hand and keep it on her heart "Can you hear this Baani, Aahh I will get an attack any time soon!"
"Dhat, relax !! I know how it feels. Take deep breath's Amrita, Deep Breaths" Baani also took few deep breath's along with her
Amrita calmed a bit, Having a pat of encouragement from Baani, She went towards the Department room where Abhimanyu was also feeling nervous.
"Umm Sir?" She held her bag tightly in a fist
He gulped before looking at her "Have a seat Amrita"
She sat adjacent to him and they both fell silent.
"Sir did I do something wrong?" She asked in low voice
He shook his head immediately "No no, You..you didn't, it's that..." He licked his lips
He sat straight on the chair and ran his hand over his hair "I...Umm, You heard my voice note?"
She took good time to nod her head, there is no eye contact.
"I...actually I am sorry, If It made you uncomfortable Amrita" He rubbed the back of his neck and his cheeks are a bit red as well
She glanced at him and found him cute.
"Was it uncomfortable? Did it make you uncomfortable?" He asked looking in her eyes
She held her bag closer to her chest and she shook her head.
Abhimanyu felt Happy with the response but didn't show it to her.
"Um woh, It was I don't know, I was a little light headed at that time and didn't had control on my tongue and I said...I said it what was in my mind" His eyes fell on the pendant that he made her wear yesterday, bubbling up happiness inside him
Amrita bit her lips to control her smile but her cheeks couldn't hide his affect on her !
"You want to say something or ask something? I just didn't wanted anything to get awkward! So I had to talk" he said truthfully
"It's...Okay Sir, nothing awkward!" She said not meeting his eyes with him
They both fell silent and looked at each other, then away immediately.
He tapped his foot on the floor and scratched his beard "Nothing Awkward you said" He chuckled
And She looked at him, there is a smile on his lips with those cute Dimples and even she smiled, flaunting hers. He looked at her with the same smile and their heart fluttered.
Then Abhimanyu got a Call from The CR of another class.
"I think, I have to leave for the Class" he informs her
They both stood up "Yeah !"
Stepping out together, they walked beside each other with a good distance when he called her name "Amrita"
"Haan?"
"Can you send me yesterday's photographs?"
She blinked and a smile came upon her lips "Sure Sir"
"Will wait !" He said and they both walked to the opposite Direction.
He took a deep breath of Relief and She took a breath of Blush !!

"Baani, I forgot my assignment Home" She cried complaining "I completed it yesterday itself"
"Call your mother and tell her to bring!"
"She isn't picking up the call ! I have tried. Must be cleaning the house" Amrita pressed her forehead
"It's Abhimanyu Sir's assignment, You can take a little advantage" Baani teased
"Advantage of What?"
"Of him liking you"
Amrita shook her head "no, First he said He finds me beautiful and second that even if he likes me, I can't take advantage, he is still my professor and it would be obvious to him as well"
Baani laughed "Aree Haan meri Maa, I was just joking !" She pulled her cheeks
Then finally her mother picked up the call "Hello Maa, Thank you...Can you please bring my assignment to college?"
"Where is it kept? How could you forget it?
Amrita tell her the place where she has placed it.
"Okay I will be there soon!"
"Thank you!"

Abhimanyu's first class is at 12 so he came to the college just now and parked his car.
He came out when a Woman called him "Umm excuse me?"
"Ji?" He looked at her
"Umm Beta, I need to give this assignment to my daughter, Can I get entry in the college?" She asked Abhimanyu
"You come with me, I will take you there" He said with a small smile
"Thank you beta" Said the Women and the smile and face looks a bit familiar to someone he thought.
As they walk She ask him "You are in which year beta?"
Abhimanyu Chuckled "Umm I am a professor in this college Mam"
"Oh, Professor?"
He nodded his head and Abhimanyu asked the Guard to let her in.
"Thank you beta!"
"You can call your daughter"
"Yeah I just texted her, She is in her class so isn't picking up the call"
Then she called again her Daughter"Where are you? I am inside your college!"
"What how ? Okay I am coming" Amrita ran to the entrance
"She is coming" She informed Abhimanyu
He looked at his Watch "Mam it's time for my class, I should leave"
She smiled at him "Sure Beta"
Abhimanyu nodded and was about to take a step to leave when like a lighting bolt, Amrita came running and hugged her mother "I love You I love you, I love you Maa" She chanted with breathlessness
She broke the hug and took the assignment "Maa thank you" She kissed her cheek
Abhimanyu looked at Both of them and then it hit him, She is Amrita's Mother.
"Now go and take your assignment, Give it to you professor, now he won't deduct your marks" her mother joked
Abhimanyu narrowed his eyes ! It shouldn't be my assignment!
"How did you got in? How did the guard allow?" she asked her mother
"He helped me ! He is a professor here" pointed out her mother
Amrita looked at the professor and her smile fell. He folded his arm "which subject assignment is that ?" He asked raising up her eye brows
She blinked and looked at her mother. I am dead !
"Architecture Design? Oh she always mostly study that subject!" Said her mother and Amrita shook her head in front of her Mother
"Whenever I ask her which subject are you studying her reply, Architecture Design Maa ! I want to meet her professor and let him know not to give so much work to the students, They don't even get time for food ! My daughter has lost so much weight ! Beta you shouldn't be like that professor okay" she caressed Amrita's Cheek, Oh no !
Amrita smiled awkwardly at Him and then scooted closer to her mother "Maa he is my Architecture design professor!"
Her mother looked at Abhimanyu Immediately and then her Daughter "Oh...I am sorry Beta! Please don't deduct her marks, She is a good and hardworking daughter of mine"
"Relax Mam, I give marks according to the work in the class ! Nothing personal" He said "and about giving to much work" He looked at Amrita, Who is now looking at her feet's"I will take care that I don't burden the students that they skip their food!"
"Okay Beta, I should leave and sorry" Said her mother really apologetically
"Aree Mam, it's fine, Students aren't honest to me, so at least Parents are" Said Abhimanyu smiling
Amrita's mother smiled and whispered a sorry to Amrita and left.
Now it's Amrita and Abhimanyu. He cleared his throat "Don't You have Class?"
She nodded !
He folded his arm "Is it here?"
She shook her head
He chuckled "Let's go to the Class Amrita! I won't deduct your marks if you will go with me !"
She hide her face with her assignment "Sorry sir"
He smiled shaking his head. He took her assignment from her Hand, which she covered it "Let's Go"
They walk together towards the class, while going through the assignment "hmm, only 1 !"
"What? Only 1 ?" She asked fiddling with her fingers
"Yeah ! Your assignment is like that so only one" he shrugged
"Sir, I will improve but I have added everything in the assignment, this time I have even added Conclusion sir, don't give me 1 mark!" She said innocently
He chuckled "I will deduct One mark !"
Her eyes widen in surprise "1 mark deduct?"
He nods "Rest I will read properly and Mark !"
Amrita grinned and He smiled looking at her happiness.
"You look like your mother a lot!" He said as they reached the second floor
"Yeah, everyone says that ! She is beautiful"
So is her daughter, He said in his mind.
"Sorry?" She looked at him
"What?" He turned his head towards her
"Did you say something sir?"
He shook his head "No, Did you hear something?"
She shrugged and they reached the class. Amrita got in first and Abhimanyu took a second to enter !
Baani smiled looking Abhimanyu Coming behind her with a smile in the class and Amrita blushing.
