Abhimanyu knocks on the door of his Friend, Jagan's flat and as soon as He opened the door, All his friends began to curse him "Fucker is at the time of getting drunk" Remarked Anirudh in frustration
"Welcome teacher !! Such a punctual teacher you are" Jagan said with a gave sarcastic note
Abhimanyu scratch his head and passed him a forced smile him.
"What took you so long? Why the fuck was your phone switched Off?" Anirudh screams coming in front of him, Abhimanyu Rolled his eyes
"Emergency!" He pushed Anirudh Aside
All his friends, in total who are 4 looked at him "What kind of Emergency?" Subham asked gulping his beer
Abhimanyu Shrugged "umm" He tried to play cool "A Student of mine, Invited me on he.." he cleared his throat "His..his birthday"
Anirudh narrow his eyes at him "His or Her?"
"His!" Abhimanyu lied
"Fucking tell the Truth Abhimanyu or else I will tell your parents how you were about to become a father of your ex"
Abhimanyu Raised his eyebrows "Excuse me? You know they won't believe you!"
He smirked "They will believe my wife" he folded his arm
Abhimanyu clinched his jaw "A student's Birthday Party that's it and that's the truth!" he said sharply
"Him Or Her !" Asked Gaurav
Abhimanyu picked up a glass of beer and gulped it "What have you bought for snacks?" He opened few buttons of his shirt
They didn't answer Abhimanyu and stared at him.
Abhimanyu looked at them "What?"
"It was a HER then" said Shubham
"Think whatever you want!" said Abhimanyu not minding to answer
"Why can't you let us know? Do you like that girl?" Jagan asked shrugging
He run his hand through his hair "It was just a simple party !! Why make a huge topic out of it, I am here let's Enjoy"
"You were supposed to be here 3 hours before but you were there with your female student!! So it is a huge topic! And if you can't spill the truth, You can go back to her!" Anirudh smiled sarcastically at him
Abhimanyu wanted to punch him so bad but, controlled himself.
He took another sip of this beer and then pressed his forehead and they all wait for him patiently.
He closed eyes "Okay, It was my Female student!" He said without looking at them.
A smile began to form on their lips. Now we curious !
"And?" Asked Shubham with excitement
"And nothing, Her friend called me nearly at 8 and said that I am her favourite professor and she would be happy with I would be present at her birthday party, So I just went!"
Anirudh shook his head "You just didn't went, You ditched us and went to her birthday...that means that girl is special"
Abhimanyu gulped licking his lips "That Girl is...Nice, I mean sweet, very innocent, I have seen her being alone whole year and just recently she got a nice friend. So If I could make her birthday good just by my presences so I went !"
He looked at the empty glass of beer, while his friends looked at him.
Gaurav pat his back and Jagan filled his glass with beer "So you felt bad for the girl?"
Abhimanyu shook his head "No, I just...went ! I don't know"
Anirudh chuckled "Tell me her name"Â looking at Abhimanyu with a smile
Abhimanyu becomes nervous "wh-why?"
"No no, tell me"
"No need, I told you guys the whole story now we go back to our party or else I am leaving" Abhimanyu took a step but Anirudh held him by holding his shoulder laughing "Okay okay fine, relax ! I know it wasn't Aaaaaammmmmmrita"
Abhimanyu Glared at him, Anirudh Grinned ! Abhimanyu cursed him under his breath.

Amrita is in Baani's Cloth and they are enjoying Ice cream together. They Made Maggie together before this and enjoyed a lot eating in the same bowl and watching a short Comedy video on Youtube.
"Mm let me show you something !" Said Baani taking out her phone

Baani show her the video that she took while Abhimanyu make her wore the pendant "How romantic na?" Baani giggled with Happiness
Amrita played with ice cream and felt shy.
"You like Abhimanyu Sir na?" Baani asked clearly
Amrita sighed saying nothing.

"It's not right!" She said looking at the walls

"Because he is professor Baani, He is 7-8 years older to me, He looks at me just like a student, I respect him and..." Amrita said paused

Amrita pouts "But Baani, There are many more girls who are manifesting to be with Abhimanyu sir, my manifestation might just crash with theirs ! And after a month we won't even meet"
"Until you don't get the same college for masters !" Added Baani with a cheeky smile
Amrita shook her head "No Baani, Let it just be the way it is, It is nice the way it is...I like him and he thinks I am a good student! I am happy with that and I will always remember with birthday. I.."
She pause for a while "I don't want any kind of expectations now and be happy just by thinking them Baani. It only hurts if they break and I am done getting hurt" Tears slipped from her eyes "I don't have the heart to feel more pain ! I tried for 4 years to make friends, I tried to engage in something but became a part of joke ! Everytime I have just got myself hurt, even in school, No one is there whom I can contact. Baani and Now I am happy with what I have. You and few memories with Abhimanyu Sir in college and just few more will be created ! "
Baani's heart ached, She rubbed Amrita's tears and hugged her "I am sorry for not taking a step towards you"
Amrita sniffed "Not your mistake Baani, not at all"
Baani pats her back lovingly and moved back smiling "Will you do one thing?"
"What?"
"Text Abhimanyu sir"
"What why?"
"Thank him properly for coming to your birthday and he even bought a gift for you in short time !! I am not saying anything just a sweet thank you, text to him" Baani grinned
"Now? Can't I do in the morning?"
"Now ! Your birthday isn't over yet ! 5 minutes are left, he won't get angry on birthday Girl !" Baani Shrugged
Amrita pouts "Are you sure I should?"
"Very sure, You have just 5 minutes"
Amrita bit her lips "Okay"
"No wait send him voice note, it would be better!"
Her eyes pop out in shock "No Baani that would be too much"
"Tsk, It would be a proper good message! Trust me he will like it"
Amrita gulped and licked her lips. She closed her eyes and made a speech in her head.
"Just Say what's in your heart Amrita ! Don't hesitate"
Amrita nods and took a deep breath. She pressed the voice note button and said "Umm Sorry sir for sending you this message so late, Actually aaa, I thought that I didn't thank you properly for coming to my birthday. I want to just let you know that...You being there with me on my birthday means a lot to me, I never imagined or even thought that you would come. I will always remember this birthday and thank you for making it so so special for me and also The gift is so beautiful, I will treasure it all my life ! Thank you so very much sir. I am very happy that you came"
She sent the voice note and left good ! So good. She smiled at Baani.
Abhimanyu's phone pinged with a voice note by Amrita, making his heart skip a beat.
He unlocked his phone and his friends are dancing on item song.
Abhimanyu excused himself and went to the balcony saying that his mother is calling.
He quickly played the voice note and kept it near his ear.
Abhimanyu couldn't stop grinning and heard the voice note three times.
The beer was also doing it's effect on him that he felt so much more good, leaving all the practicalities in its pit .
He also sent a voice note "Amrita, Happy Birthday once again and...I came to your birthday party because first You are a very good student of mine whom I won't forget and second...I wanted to come willing to your birthday. I am glad to know that I could make you happy and I am so much more glad to know that...I am your favourite professor and that makes ME feel Special Amrita so...Thanks to you and...Yeah, (he took a dee breath) You looked so breathtaking today, I just can't forget your imagine from my mind..I...You are Beautiful Amrita! So beautiful, in fact you look beautiful in everything!"
He sent the voice note and his friend pulled him inside the room and kept his phone aside.
Abhimanyu tried to snatch it away but Anirudh hide it somewhere.
Amrita and Baani get excited as they get the voice note and they scream a little.
With increased heartbeat, Amrita played it and as she listens to the voice note, her breathing increases. The way Abhimanyu spoke the last few line, make her whole body erupt with goosebumps.
Baani looked at Amrita with a smile and held her hand, who is shocked.
Amrita looked at her, playing the voice note again, not believing what she is listening to.
"He likes you too" Said Baani softly what Amrita's heart is screaming.
