Angie woke up and found herself inside what looked like a cave. It was dark and super eyrie.
"Where am I?" Angie wondered.
Then she remembered; that turtle who saved her. "He must be that ghost that all the village people have been talking about."
Suddenly she heard the sound of something falling and then being caught.
"It's a long way from the city to drop in," a boy's voice said.
"Leo," a girl's voice added.
Curious, Angie hid behind a wall and peeked out. She stayed as quiet as she could so she wouldn't be noticed.
Her eyes widened when she saw the turtle who had saved her life. He was setting up a fire with a red haired girl, a little older than him, and they started chatting.
"You came all the way down here to look for me?" Leonardo guessed.
"Actually, I was already here on business. But then the local legend started sounding familiar, so I decided to snoop around," the girl explained.
"What kind of business?" Leo asked.
"Ancient artefacts. Some tycoon with too much on his hands has his heart set on a collection of 3,000-year-old statues," she replied.
"Well, you always did run with a strange crowd, April," he chuckled.
"Yeah, well. Our strange crowd hasn't been the same without you," April continued, making Leo look up for a minute, then she continued. "Things aren't looking so good back home."
Angie wondered what they were talking about. She stayed quiet and listened.
"How bad could it be? Donnie's probably got everything under control," Leo said.
AT THE LAIR...
Actually Donatello didn't have everything under control at home. He became a computer expert for people to call him for technical difficulties.
"Sir? Sir. Sir," he tried to calm down one of the people on the other line.
"Did you turn the computer on? Have you plugged it in? Yeah, that would help," he said to another.
"No, I'm not playing hard to get. I'm telling you, sir, it's not that kind of phone line," he yelled at a third.
"I'm not your enemy. I'm just Donnie, your friendly IT tech support here to help you 24 hours, sir. I'm sorry, Ma'am," he sighed then corrected.
BACK IN CENTRAL AMERICA...
"But Donnie's a genius. Why would he take a job like that?" Leo asked.
"At least he's keeping busy," April pointed out.
"Well, if he's doing that, who's keeping an eye on Mikey?" Leo wondered.
"Mike's gotten into the, um, entertainment business," April answered uncertainly.
ON THE SURFACE AT A BIRTHDAY PARTY...
Michelangelo parked his party wagon outside the flat he had to be at. He put on a huge turtle head on his own, a zipper on his plastron and grabbed his nun-chucks that were noodle-like.
"Yeah," he cheered and went inside.
He had everything set up and faced where the kids would be coming from.
"Happy birthday from Cowabunga Carl!" Mikey greeted.
The kids ran through the doorway and started hitting him with play weapons.
"Take it easy, little dudes. I bruise easily. Hey, that's-" he yelled while on the ground then blacked out from a hit to the face.
BACK IN CENTRAL AMERICA...
Angie leaned against the wall, listening to April and Leo as they continued their talk.
"He's a big hit," April said.
"Alright. Let's hear it. What's Raph doing?" Leo wondered sighing.
"No one really knows. He just sleeps all day," she answered.
"Well, what's he do all night?" he asked.
UP TOP FACING THE CITY...
Raphael faced the city of New York in a metal suit on his motorbike. He held his helmet in his hand as he waited to hear what would come over the radio he had.
"2802, 2802, burglary in progress at 55th and Broadway. Suspects considered armed and dangerous. Might be a hostage situation," a policeman's voice announced over the device.
"Time to punch in," Raph smirked, placing his helmet on.
He started his motorbike and made his way to where the crime was taking place.
At the location the brick wall had exploded and 5 men came out with bags of money.
The leader of this group had said. "Good work, boys. That was easier than I thought it was going to be."
"Hey look, guys, I grabbed a toaster," another man said and literally came out with a toaster in his hands.
The leader had then said in a voice of disbelief. "I love your work ethic, Tommy, it's an inspiration to us all."
They then made their way through the alley to escape without being seen. Just then two of the guys had their legs wrapped in chains and screamed as they were dragged into the shadows.
The other three crooks had turned around when they heard them scream.
"What was that? What's going on, guys?" Tommy asked in a scared voice.
They heard another sound come from the shadows and a chain had come towards the leader and he said. "What in the-"
The chain had struck him in the face and the force had thrown him towards the dumpster, knocking him out.
Raph had come out and the bigger guy tried to attack him, but failed. He had his gun knocked out of his hands.
He tried to land a punch to Raph but ended up getting punched in the face and knocked out.
Tommy was the only one left and pointed his gun at Raph with his hands shaking in terror.
"Looks like it's just you and me, Shaky," Raph mocked, knowing that the guy was scared of him. "Take it easy, I'm not gonna hurt you...much. BOO!"
Frightened, Tommy dropped the gun and the toaster, running out of the alley into the street.
He ran across the street making a car stop before it could hit him and he slid across the hood of the car. Not long after Raph came after him on his bike.
"I love when they play hard to get," he said as he was chasing him.
Tommy tripped over the trash can and continued running, even though Raph had easily caught up to him. Raph caught him and tied him up with the others.
When he finished the cops came and he disappeared. When they came one of them whispered. "The Night Watcher."
And the other added. "He's doing our job for us again."
They looked to see all the crooks were tied together with chains and were hung upside down like they were a present to the cops.
BACK IN CENTRAL AMERICA...
"Your training period ended a year ago. And Splinter says you don't write anymore," April told Leo.
"Splinter sent me down here to become a better leader. I can't go back a failure. Besides, these people need me more than my brothers do," he replied.
"If Master Splinter were here, he would ask you, 'what is your heart telling you?'" she pointed out.
"I don't know. I just know something's missing," Leo sighed, tossing a stick into the fire.
"Your brothers need you, Leo. They're lost without you," she explained, looking away.
When she looked back, he was gone. She stood, looking around.
"Leo?!" she called, but there was no answer.
She decided to head back up to finish her job and get back to New York.

A/N So the turtles have been doing their own thing since Shredder's death, but it seems the team I'd broken. What awaits them?
