After his encountered with Dayu and Irene that night,Wang Qing did not went straight home but to Chengyu's house instead.Feeling confused about things he yet to understand,he seek for a shoulder to lean on. But fate was not on his side,Chengyu went for his night duty leaving his lover Qiushi at home.
"Why don't you come in first?You don't look good.I'll make you mint tea,come in" invited Qiushi. They were no strangers to each other.
Wang Qing walked in and landed on a couch while waiting for Qiushi who was busy preparing tea at the kitchen.
"Have you eaten?" asked Quishi as he brought out a cup of mint tea and placed it on the table in front of Wang Qing,who slightly shook his head. Too much things going on in a day that he totally forgot about eating.
"Do you want to eat anything?I can prepare simple dishes for you," suggested Qiushi but Wang Qing politely decline saying that he has no appetite for it.
"You don't act like yourself.Something bothering you?" asked Qiushi as he sat down.
"How do you know you love a man?What's make you so certain that you love another man,not as a brother or friend but more?"
Qiushi was startled by sudden question from Wang Qing but he remained calm as he said "It's the same as when you love a woman,you probably know that right"
Wang Qing sligtly nodded his head."But how can you be so certain that you love him?" added Wang Qing.
"When the time comes,you will know it yourself.You will feel the difference between him and other people around you.Love takes time so give yourself time." Qiushi smiled because that friend of his has never talk about love before but this time he looked so bothered by it.
Wang Qing sipped on the mint tea before placing the cup back on the table and lean his back against the couch.He lifted his left arm and rested the back of his wrist on his forehead,slowly closing his eyes.
"I will prepare the guest room for you," said Qiushi as he stood up and headed toward the guest room. Wang Qing sure had a lot on his mind that day. He spent the night at their house before heading back the next afternoon where he spent more hours figuring out his own feeling.
By the time he finally made up his mind,it's already been two days.He realized he spent two days at home sleeping,sitting on bed,eating and laying on couch.He figured it's time to get some fresh air and dinner outside since he's out of fresh ingredients at home.Just when he all dressed up,suddenly A Lin showed up at his door with food.Wang Qing was surprised.A Lin never visits his house before though she knows where he lives.So he wondered what brought her to his house that evening.
"I thought you are dead!Why didn't you pick up your phone?" scolded A Lin the moment she walked in and put the food on the table.
"Phone?" Wang Qing just realized his phone was not with him.In fact,he forgot when was the last time he saw his phone.
"You lost it," A Lin shook her head in disbelief.She made her way to the kitchen,took out plates and spoon.She then started setting the food she bought by putting them into plates.
"Why are you here?" asked Wang Qing while eyeing A Lin's movement.
"I want to see if you are death or alive" said A Lin as she walked back and forth."Food is ready,have a sit," added her.
That was indeed a perfect timing for Wang Qing grumbling stomach. He sat down and started dig in immediately.A Lin rolled her eyes upon seeing Wang Qing behavior.
"Easy there,you might choke yourself and i will be  blamed," said A Lin.She poured water into a glass and placed it in front of Wang Qing.
"Thank you,you are my life saver." A Lin could not help but to smile at Wang Qing childish behavior.He who always acted so cool actually had that side in him.
They both sat on a sofa after dinner,flipping over the channel but saw nothing that caught their attention so they switched it off.
"Are you not going to leave?" asked Wang Qing as he turned his head looking at A Lin who comfortably laid her head on his lap.
"Where's your gratitude?At least pay me up first," she teasingly licked her lower lips.
"I am not in the mood for that.And even if i want that,i can't do it with you" said Wang Qing while switched his gaze,looking in distance.
"Why not?Ohhhhhhhhh- You found someone special," A Lin clapped her hands as she pulled up her head and fixed her position into sitting position.Wang Qing lips were sealed.
"You finally found someone!Oh this is amazing!," A Lin said in awe as she showed excited expression.
"Why are you so happy about it?I thought you might cry and feeling heartbroken," Wang Qing mockingly said as he turned his head toward A Lin direction.
"It's a good thing,why would i feel sad about it?Is it because i like you?Oh come on- I know how you feel about me.And besides,loving someone does not mean you have to own that person," A Lin said in cheerful voice. Wang Qing smiled.
"Oh oh,i almost forgot.I bought you a shirt and a pant when i went shopping earlier.I want you to try them on,i want to see if they fit" A Lin took out a plastic bag from her tote bag and placed it on the Wang Qing lap.
"You mean now?" asked Wang Qing.
"Of course now.Come on" urged A Lin.
"Alright" said Wang Qing as he stood up and took off his clothes.
A Lin took out the new pair from plastic bag as she eagerly waited. Wang Qing extended his arm to reach for the new pair when his door bell rang. They both looked at each other and wondered who could that be. A Lin shrugged her shoulder and made a signal with her finger for Wang Qing to open up the door to which he did.It was Dayu with his eyes wide opened and his mouth left agape.Wang Qing totally did not expect that,he did not know what expression should he show on his face.
"Someone at the door?" asked A Lin as she stretched her neck.
Before Wang Qing could open his mouth,Dayu already left in hurried leaving Wang Qing staring at the blank space in front of him.
"Who was it?" A Lin showed up from behind.
"I..have to go somewhere.Can you go back by yourself?," Wang Qing quickly turned around,walked to the sofa and put on his clothes.
"Sure i can," A Lin took her bag and wished Wang Qing luck with his love life.
Wang Qing had no time to waste,he ran across the building as fast as he can.He climbed those stairs as if he was chased by a dog,a big scary one. He stopped at the door of 520,panting and catching his breath.Instead of pressing the bell,he knocked on the door. Dayu showed up with a surprise expression.
"Water pipe at my house broke,can i stay here for tonight?," said Wang Qing as he stood up straight.
"Huh?It was fine just now right," Dayu was confused.He was sure nothing of that sort happened when he was there just now.
"It's not fine now," Wang Qing entered Dayu's apartment without further explanation.
Dayu was at lost,he locked his door walked toward Wang Qing and said " You can use the guest room then"
"Where's Irene?Not coming home yet?" asked Wang Qing as he saw no sign of Irene in the house.
"We are not living together.She is at her home" said Dayu.
"Ah-" Wang Qing was slightly happy hearing that.
"Have you reported it to the security?" asked Dayu.
"Yes i did,on my way here.I lost my phone so i could not call them" explained Wang Qing as he walked around the house.
"You lost your phone?," asked Dayu in surprised tone of voice. Wang Qing simply nodded his head.
"House of an interior designer sure is different.Mine was gloomy,perhaps i should hire you to fix it," commented Wang Qing after he looked around for a while.
"You are making me dizzy,please have a sit" Dayu had been looking at Wang Qing ever since he entered his house.Wang Qing apologized right after.
"I forgot to bring my toothbrush!" exclaimed Wang Qing. He clicked his tongue,blaming his absent mind.
"That's fine,i have an extra." Dayu opened up a drawer and took out a brand new toothbrush from it.
"I am sorry for troubling at this time," apologized Wang Qing.
"I don't mind.I am heading to bed first,if you need anything you can knock on my door," Dayu smiled and bid goodnight before entering his bedroom.
Wang Qing did feel guilty lying about the pipe broke down but he could not think of other way to get close to Dayu. He spent another half an hour admiring Dayu's work on his house before he went to bed.He suddenly remembered his previous life when he used to stay at Jianyu's house for a while.At that time they were sleeping next to each other but now they are separated by a concrete wall.
