The next morning, Jake slowly opened his eyes, stretching out as the sunlight peeked through his curtains. The excitement from the previous day still lingered in his mind. The escape room, the mall, the movie—it had been a blast. But today, he was looking forward to just relaxing.

Alex was still asleep, snoring softly, his blanket tangled around him. Jake glanced at the clock. It was almost 10 AM—later than he usually slept. He figured his mom had let them rest in after their long day.

He carefully got out of bed, feeling the familiar sensation of his diaper, now wet from the night. With a sigh, he grabbed a fresh one and headed to the bathroom to clean up. By the time he came back, Alex was stirring awake, rubbing his eyes.

“Morning, dude,” Jake said, tossing a pillow at him.

Alex groaned and rolled over. “Morning… what time is it?”

“Almost ten. You were out cold.”

Alex sat up, stretching. “Yeah, yesterday was crazy. I’m surprised your mom let us sleep in.”

Jake smirked. “Guess she knew we needed it.”

As if on cue, Mrs. Faulkner knocked on the door and peeked in. “Morning, boys. Breakfast is ready whenever you’re up for it. I made pancakes.”

“Sweet!” Alex perked up immediately.

“Come down when you’re ready.” She smiled before heading back downstairs.

After getting changed and dressed, the boys made their way down to the kitchen. The smell of warm syrup and butter filled the air as they sat at the table. Mrs. Faulkner placed two plates stacked with pancakes in front of them.

“So, what’s the plan for today?” she asked as she poured herself a cup of coffee.

Jake shrugged. “Honestly? I was thinking just a chill day. Maybe some Minecraft, maybe some movies.”

Alex nodded. “Yeah, after yesterday, I think a break sounds good.”

Mrs. Faulkner chuckled. “That’s fair. You boys definitely had an eventful day. Well, I’ll be in my office if you need me. Enjoy your day off.”

After breakfast, the boys headed back up to Jake’s room and booted up the Xbox. They spent the next couple of hours expanding their Minecraft base—adding a second floor to their barn, a rail system between villages, and even starting a Nether hub for easy access to distant locations.

After spending the morning expanding their Minecraft base, Jake’s mom popped her head into the room. “I have to go into work for a few hours. I’ll be back tonight. You boys behave, okay?”

Jake looked up from the screen. “Okay, Mom.”

Mrs. Faulkner smiled and grabbed her keys before heading out. As the front door closed behind her, Jake hesitated for a moment, then turned to Alex.

“I have something to confess,” he said, shifting slightly.

Alex raised an eyebrow. “What’s up?”

Jake took a deep breath. “I actually liked using the diapers at the mall.”

Alex blinked in surprise, then smirked. “Dude, I had a feeling you might say that.”

Jake scratched the back of his head. “Yeah, I mean, at first, I was kinda embarrassed, but… it was actually kinda nice?”

Alex nodded. “I get it. It’s kinda freeing in a weird way. Plus, it’s not like anyone’s judging you here.”

Jake chuckled. “Yeah, I guess you’re right.”

They sat in silence for a moment before Alex grinned. “Well, now that that’s out in the open, I gotta admit… I liked it too.”

Jake’s eyes widened slightly. “Wait, really?”

Alex shrugged. “Yeah, I mean, it’s not something I ever thought about before, but after last night… I dunno, it felt kinda normal.”

Jake smirked. “Well, now we both know. So… what do you wanna do?”

Alex grinned. “How about we finish our Nether hub?”

“Sounds like a plan,” Jake said, grabbing his controller.

Just as they settled back into the game, Jake’s phone buzzed. It was a text from his mom: Gonna be stuck here for a few more hours. Should be home by bedtime.

Jake showed the text to Alex, who nodded. “Looks like we’ve got the house to ourselves for a while.”

Jake grinned. “More time for gaming, then.”

Alex suddenly smirked. “Or… we could play something else.”

Jake raised an eyebrow. “Like what?”

Alex’s grin widened. “Truth or dare. But with a twist.”

Jake tilted his head. “What kind of twist?”

Alex chuckled. “Truth questions gotta be personal, and all dares must involve the diapers.”

Jake’s face turned red. “Wait, what?”

“Oh, come on,” Alex teased. “We both admitted we liked it. Let’s make things interesting.”

Jake hesitated for a moment before smirking. “Alright, you’re on.”

And with that, their lazy day took an unexpected turn.
