Kaira's POV:
As I was walking down, I heard someone yell.
" PUT THE CALL ON FUCKING SPEAKER." Valentino shouted.
I looked at all their faces, which showed anger.
And I got to know about the seriousness of the situation.
Dad put the call on the speaker.
" Calm down, Valentino. Your sister is still with me." He said in a playful tone.
Thèo? He has Aria but why?
" Just tell what the fuck do you want?" Dad said calmly.
" Now, that's what I would like to discuss you. Ask Leonessa to come to me if you want your sister." The playfulness in his tone was long gone.
" And you have only an hour, so be careful." With that he cut the call off.
" How are we going to contact with her, we don't have her any information and if we try also it will take atleast two days." Lorenzo said.
" And why will she risk her life for us." Alessandro said.
" We need to do something soon because the time is running." Dad said.
Author's POV:
DeLuca's went to the place where Thèo had called them. (Except Antonio)
They had made a girl wear mask and black outfit, they knew it was a bad plan but they had to try, they can't let him kill Aria.
" Finally, you are here DeLuca's." Thèo said.
Aria was behind him with her hands and legs tied and two guards guarding her with gun on top of her head.
His eyes brightened seeing the girl, whom he was assuming Leonessa.
" Leonessa." He whispered.
The girl walked to him and as she walked Thèo hold her hand and threw her back at DeLuca's.
" WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? Do you think me as an idiot. She is not Leonessa. Her walking style, her fierce eyes, her attitude, everything makes her Leonessa, her identification is not her face. The girl who without showing her face, grabs everyone's attention and stand out of the crowd is Leonessa." He shouted and the gaurds surrounded them all with guns on their heads.
Their weapons were taken before only so now they were empty handed.
" See your sister for the last time DeLuca's." Thèo said with a smirk and started taking steps towards Aria.
" Stop." He instantly halted in his steps and turned back to see a new girl in a black outfit along with a black jacket and a black mask.
He turned and this time, he was greeted with her fierce eyes and her attitude.
" What do you want from me?" She asked straight to the point.
Kaira's POV:
" Oh baby, no hi, no hello, straight to the point. You didn't even asked how was I?" Thèo came to me and tried to hug me but I took a step back.
He pouted and made that sulking face like a kid.
" Baby, why do you act stubborn? You know na, how much I love you."
" Thèo if you are here to waste my time then I am going."
" What are all of you doing? Go bring something for my queen." He ordered his guards.
" Baby, why are you standing, your feet must be paining sit down frist." He said softly in a completely different tone while pointing the couch.
In a second, there was food filled on the table in front of the couch.
When he saw I was not going to move, he said.
" Fine, I want to marry you." He said with a smile and his eyes shone like a beggar got a diamond.
" Why do you even think I will marry you?"
" Because you don't want to risk your family dying." He said with a smug smile.
" Which family?" I tried to play.
" Drop the act, Kaira."
He hold my hand and guided me to the couch.
He came at my back and gently pressed my shoulders so that I sit on the couch.
I looked at my family to see their expressions and to be honest, it was worth watching.
" That day, I came to your house, I had secretly put a gps on your heels but the gps location didn't move. I got to know DeLuca's have a daughter, Aria DeLuca. So, I kidnapped her thinking it was you but as soon as my eyes went on her, I knew it wasn't her. From there started the mystery, I dig into the past and got to know DeLuca's have two daughters, one is hidden from the world. She was sent to a school in France and had recently came in Taly. The story of yours and the hidden girl was same which made me know Leonessa was none other than Kaira DeLuca."
I stood from my place and pulled my gun towards him.
In a moment, he kicked my gun and the gun fell on the ground.
" Oh darling, so naive of you to think, you will be able to kill me in between of my so many peoples." He chuckled.
" So now, you tell how would you like the wedding? Should it be a big one or a small." He came near me and put a strand of hair behind my ear.
I took my pocket knife which was inside my waist band and tried to shove it inside him but he took a hold of my hand and turned it so that my hand was twisted behind my back. I felt disgusted due to the contact of his chest with my back.
" I was trying to be nice but it doesn't seem you liked it. Call the priest, we are getting married now." The last line he said to his guards.
" Stay away from my sister, you bastard." Valentino yelled.
" My dear brother-in-law, remember you are still under my men. I don't want you to die before our marriage, otherwise my wifey will get angry."
When Thèo was distracted by Valentino, I took out the lighter from my pocket and started burning his coat from back.
" What the fuck." He immediately left me and threw his coat away.
He looked at me and I smirked. I had taken his gun out when he left me and now it was pointed directly on his head.
" Ask your men to put their guns down if you don't want to die."
" You won't kill me, your family is still under my men."
" You think I care about them, funny? If you dig so deep in the history, you must know why I was sent away, I tried to kill my own sister. So why do you think I even want any of them alive?"
" If not for them then why are you here?"
" Because I wanted to end your game. I can't think about what you will do the next all the time, I have other important things to care about."
" Do you think you would be able to step out of this place after killing me?"
" Don't tell me you thought I came without a backup plan, did you? I guess you did, So ask them to put the guns down." I smirked.
" Put the guns down." He shouted and everyone kept their guns
down.
I tapped on my ear pod, and said," Now."
The gate burst open and men started coming, they first take Thèo's man's gun and soon started taking them.
" Matteo?" Dad whispered.
" You didn't thought I was going to let you die, did you?" He said with a smirk.
" So now, what's your last wish?" I asked Thèo.
" Can I hug you?" I let him hug because apparently it was his last wish.
" I will always love you. Maybe, I can't be with you in this life but maybe in other, I would." He whispered in my ears.
After two minutes, he pulled and happily pointed the gun from my hand on his heart and pressed the trigger from my fingers by putting his fingers above mine.
He fell down, before closing his eyes, he smiled at me and said," I love you, Leonessa and always will."
The guy truly loved me to say the least. Only if he wasn't over possessive and would have threatened me, he would be alive.
" Kaira." I ignored my family and went straight to Matteo.
" Let's go." I said to him and he smirked.
" When my eyes landed on your for the first time at that moment only, I knew you were different. I wish I had a daughter like you." He said the last sentence while looking at Dad.
I went straight into his car.
" Do you want to stay in mansion for a few days?" Matteo asked while driving but I shook my head.
" Take me to my mansion only." He nodded.
" Why did you help me?"
" Maybe because I see you as my daughter. My wife was pregnant with a baby girl before she met an accident and died, no body know about this except me, but now you too know."
" Did you loved your wife?"
I saw his eyes get moist.
" More than myself."
" Did you wanted a daughter so bad?"
" We were so excited to have a daughter, we had already designed her room, bought her toys, her clothes and all the stuff but before she couldn't even see the world, she died in her mother womb."
" As you did a favour on me, I could do one on you. Everywhere you feel like missing your daughter, you can come to me." I said to him with a smile and he looked at me and smiled through tears.
He dropped me in front of the mansion.
" Bye." He waved at me when I came out but instead I went and opened his door too. He looked confused but neither the less came out and then I hugged him.
First, he was in the shock but then he hugged me too.
We broke hug and he said," Remember, if they don't treat you good, you will come to me."
I smiled and nodded before entering in. Thankfully, no one was present inside.
I went straight into my room and locked it, I didn't wanted to face anyone.
