Author's POVMeera came out from her room carrying her handbag..When she was walking outside, Grandma tried to stop her saying," Meera, I will try once again, you have a lot of wedding preparations to be done here, you just take care of things here, I will talk to that girl again.."Her main agenda was to stop Meera from going to Sanjana's house.But to her disappointment ,Meera didn't agree and said, " mom, please let me try".. and walked towards the car..Grandma really cursed herself for creating the mess , she never anticipated this situation..*******************In the car, Meera called Aditya to know what kind of girl the designer is so that she can handle her accordingly..A smile appeared on Aditya's lips when  he heard about Sanjana, He  said, " Meera maa, she is a well cultured, intelligent and selfless girl..She was an asset to the company".."But why did she leave ? ",Meera asked.."I don't know Meera ma, I have no clue.. She didn't give me any reason..""Do you think she has a better offer in her hands" ,she questioned.."I don't think Meera maa,our company is best in salaries.." Aditya replied.." Hmmm,Then it should be some personal issue", Mamta sighed.. and said, "anyways I will see what I can do and disconnected the call"Aditya stared at his phone and said to himself,"I hope you forget your past and accept the present Meera maa" He didn't inform  Sanjana about Meera's visit  .He thought that communication between old friends Should happen naturally..*****Soon the car reached Sanjana's house..When Meera  knocked on the door, she saw a familiar girl opening the door..Both were shocked when they saw each other. Meera smiled and said," Omg !! the world is so small.. She felt happy when she saw the familiar face..Even Sanjana was surprised and happy to see Meera at her doorstep..She took her arm and invited her into the house.She made her sit on the couch, sat beside her and asked ," Aunty ,how is your health now??""I am fine beta", Meera replied with a smile..How did you find my address aunty?, Sanjana asked surprisingly..Meera smiled and said," I   never expected   the beautiful and selfless girl I knew is the same designer  Sanjana, for whom I  have come to meet"Sanjana was astonished to hear her.. When she was processing what Meera said just now, she heard her mother coming out of her room, asking who had come??Meera was sitting facing her back to Rekha so they didn't see each other..When she heard the voice, Meera asked, "is she your mother??"Sanjana nodded with a smile..Meera wanted to greet Sanjana's mother, so she immediately stood up with a smile on her face and turned towards Rekha..When she saw her, the smile on her face faded and astonishment took over her face.Even Rekha stood rooted when she saw Meera in her house. She became pale.They stared at each other for a while and were speechless as if they were seeing something unusual.They never expected they would face each other one day .Sanjana broke the silence between them saying, Mom ,"She is the aunty  I met in the temple.. and aunty this is my mom".."I know your mom Sanjana", Meera replied faintly..Rekha stood speechless and was always afraid of facing Meera even though she didn't do anything wrong. She is always guilty, she feels she is responsible for her friend's loneliness. They were  best friends once upon a time ,they used to talk endlessly,but now they  feel as if they have fallen short of words..They didn't understand how to initiate the conversation..Meera walked  towards Rekha , took her hands in hers and asked," How are you ?".Rekha smiled and  her eyes were filled with tears when she saw her old friend..She nodded her head saying she is good.." Meera, long back I didn't know you liked Manoj....."  Rekha  started talking about the past.. Meera patted  on her shoulder and said," Rekha ,it's all long back, I was immature at that  time, I thought if it's not you, Manoj would have married me. " she  paused, took a  long breath and continued, "but as the years passed, I realised neither you  nor Manoj were at fault, it was me who overthought  the  things.. Manoj never loved me." "Then why didn't you marry anyone, Meera ??", Rekha asked out of concern.."Hmm, why couldn't you marry anyone after Manoj ,Rekha ?? you were young back then.. it's just because you loved him so much  that you  couldn't imagine anyone taking his place , it was the same with me Rekha.. Anyways  , it's all past.. and I have already moved on.  "There were tears in Meera's eyes as well .. She continued"When I heard you two were  blessed with a girl , I  had an urge to see her, but I didn't dare to come in front of Manoj.. "She  walked towards Sanjana, stroked her head and said, "Sanjana is a replica of him, She has your features but received her intelligence from her father."Rekha nodded her head with a smile on her lips and tears in her eyes..She never expected this meeting to be so pleasant..When Sanjana  heard the conversation between her mom and Meera, she guessed this lady must be Aditya's aunt..She was surprised to see her.. When she heard about Meera from her mom, she wanted to see the lady who loved her father  so much that she remained single throughout her life..She didn't expect to meet her so early..Sanjana looked into Meera' s eyes and asked, " So aunty, you forgave my mom??"" If you want me to forgive your mom , then you have to do something for me??", Meera smiled and said to Sanjana.."Anything if it is in my limits aunty" , Sanjana replied...Meera looked into Sanjana's eyes and  said, " I have adopted a girl to deal with my loneliness, her name is Kriti and soon she is getting married. Kriti and her   in-laws wanted you to design their jewellery for the wedding.. Can you do this favour  for your Aunty, Sanjana???"Of course Aunty, but with one condition", Sanjana said..Meera was happy when Sanjana said "yes".. she was ready to accept  any kind of condition.But to her surprise Sanjana said, " You have to eat lunch with us"..Meera smiled and said, " You naughty girl ,you scared me, of course ,I will eat lunch before I leave".."Then you two Friends keep talking. I will quickly prepare lunch.", Sanjana said and ran into the kitchen..Meera and Rekha spoke about Kriti and about the wedding preparations..Soon, Sanjana served dinner on the table and all the three ate well and had a good time..When Meera was about to leave, Sanjana said, "aunty  send someone to collect the designs by tomorrow, I have a few rough drafts , I will be completing them by tomorrow.. "Meera smiled and said, " thank you Sanjana for accepting my request"..Sanjana replied with a smile.. Meera  looked at Rekha and said," Rekha , I will give you the invitation card and you both have to attend Wedding without fail"..Rekha and Sanjana smiled and agreed
