Chapter 5: Fairy-Tale End

Depression poetryWords: 532

Have you ever had your heart ripped from your chest.

Dying from the openness

Wondering if your scars drove him away

Wondering how you last day after day

Are you truly that broke?

As the chair slips you start to choke

As you're dying you see your mistake

And even in death you can't get a break

You wake in a room of family and friends

Now it's time to make amends

Ten years later it seems like a nightmare

With a loving husband and child's help you barely remember being there

He's become your bestfriend

This is your fairy-tale end
