What's my brother doing here?! With the crown prince no less... I knew he was gay, but I didn't think he'd be into the narcissistic red flag prince!!
He averts his gaze from me.
"N/N? You alright?"
I hear Elise say. She's probably noticed me staring at him...
"Yeah, I'm fine... I just thought I saw something, that's all."
Elise nods.
"Well then, shall we get some food?"
My eyes lit up, suddenly I didn't care about my brother. Food can come first.
I nod my head rapidly, and head for the buffet. Elise and Alisa on the other hand, didn't get so much luck as they were bombarded with students asking them to dance...
As long as it wasn't with the crown prince, I suppose I wouldn't mind too much... but it does make me feel a little weird just thinking that Elise might be dancing with some random student while I watch her form the sidelines.
"Hey, Y/N. Don't tell me you forgot about me already..."
Oh, it's Blair.
"Blair...? Shouldn't you be surrounded by students too?"
"Me? No way. Can't imagine myself like that."
She folds her arms.
"So... wanna grab some food with me?"
She deadpans and stares judgtngly.
"Uh, fine. I have nothing else to do anyways."
She shrugs it off and goes to grab food with me.
The food here is all classy and rich, nothing like the food I ate in my original world... I wonder how the other students could talk and gossip all day without indulging in these delicacies... it's free food!!
I grab a plate and went off on my conquest to devour the food. Blair stands at the side, sweatdropping.
While I was busy shoving my face with food, Blair walked up to me.
"You have some food here..."
She wipes it off with her finger.
"Seriously... are you really Lady Elise's servant? Didn't they teach you some basic etiquette?"
Well.. not really... I hung out with Elise all the time, and she didn't seem to care...
After feeding myself, I had nothing better to do. Elise went off to gossip with the other noble ladies, leaving me alone.
"It's too awkward here... I'd better go somewhere with less people..."
I shake my head and went off to the academy garden.
It was already late evening. With the sky a dark blue, and the stars illuminating in the night, it really did look like a romantic setting. Then again, this is the night the crown prince is supposed to share a dance with the heroine...
I stare at the flowers of the garden. All of them were well maintained, and despite that, not many took their time to appreciate it.
"How beautiful..."
Great, now I'm talking to flowers. I guess I really should get back.
"Sister...?"
My eyes widen.
I stare at him.
"Sorry, I must've gotten the wrong person after all..."
"No, you're right. It's me, Y/N..."
Now it was his turn to be shocked.
"Is that true? If you're here, then..."
I nod.
"I'm assuming you're here because of the system too...?"
He becomes more serious.
"That's right. I've come... to get the crown prince."
"You know he's a red flag?"
"I'm into that."
"I can see."
"..."
"..."
"It's great to have you back, brother."
"You too. Kinda missed having someone nag at me everyday..."
He continues.
"Oh, right. What are you here for then?"
"I'm going to save the villainess."
"The villainess?! Are you crazy? If the crown prince is a red flag, she's a black flag."
"Like brother like sister I suppose. You get the crown prince, I'll get the villainess. Fair enough?"
"... bet."
We shook hands.
"N/N?"
"Oh, Elise. You're here? Isn't the dance starting soon?"
"Yes, it is... that's why I came here to get you..."
She glances over at my brother before looking back at me.
My brother gets the message and leaves us two alone.

I sigh. My monkey of a sister is way too reckless.

"Ah, Prince Leonas, it's you?"
"How many times have I told you to just call me Leo?"
I chuckle.
"Too many to count. What brings you here?"
"The dance. I want you to dance with me."
I smile. If he's a red flag, I'm coloured blind.
"Very well, my prince."
I take his hand, as he leads me away.

"I was just looking at the flowers... Also, why did you come here? You're going to miss the dance..."
Elise averts her gaze for a while, and her cheeks tint red.
"N/N.. I wanted to ask... if you'd dance with me."
Huh? Is it because the crown prince is dancing with my brother?
"So... N/N... will you grant me the honour of dancing with you?"
Oh god... I'm so gay... Even if she might just be doing this because the crown prince already has a partner, I... I can't help but feel a little selfish for wanting her to love me.
"Yes.."
She smiles and takes my hand.
"We won't make it to the hall..."
"We'll just have to dance here then. I prefer it like that, just the two of us."
I flush red. She's surprisingly straightforward today...
She places one of her hands on my waist, the other intertwines with my own.
It's quiet. Everyone else was dancing in the hall, but the scenery outside here was better. It was just the two of us.
"By the way... N/N, you look... beautiful in this dress. I'm glad I had it made for you."
She smiles. I feel really spoilt right now...
"Thank you, Elise."
We dance in the moonlight, with her guidance, I didn't make many mistakes. She led the dance, elegant and confident. She really is...
"Perfect.."
I mutter just under my breath. It's something about her that makes me feel... different.
Ah...I've fallen for her, haven't I? And it isn't normal, I feel like I'd give up my old life to stay here with her... I wonder if she feels the same...
The dance ended as quickly as it started. I wished it lasted a little longer, but maybe it's just too much to ask for.
Elise looks at me and smiles.

I danced with N/N today... she was perfect.
The way she looked in the dress I got for her... the smile that was meant for myself, and only myself... I was worried she'd miss the dance, but I'm glad I found her.
I fear the day she'll leave me. The day she suddenly disappears off the face of this world. But I won't let it happen.
N/N... she'll stay with me, forever.

Leonas smiled a little. It was genuine.
"B/N, thank you for tonight."
"Geez, why are you suddenly so sentimental?"
I stare at the pair which consisted of my younger sister and her 'girlfriend'.
"I hope things are just as smooth sailing for them."
"I'm not sure what you are referring to, but if there's anything I can do to make you happy..."
"...Just say it. I'll risk everything for you."
