It has been a week since Cordelia and Daniel found out they were going to have twins. Tomorrow is Cordelia's birthday and Daniel wants it to be great!
Daniel "Hello Elizabeth I was wondering if we could meet to discuss Cordelia's birthday tomorrow."
Elizabeth "Yes we can, how about we meet in twenty minutes."
Daniel "Alright that is ok with me"
Elizabeth "Alright I will see you then."
Daniel hangs up the phone and gets ready to leave so he can meet Elizabeth.
Daniel "I have to go dear, I will see you later."
Cordelia "Where are you going?"
Daniel "I have to go meet one of my friends, I will be back later."
Cordelia "Alright, Bye dear."
Daniel leaves to go meet Elizabeth, and when he gets there she is already their.
Elizabeth "Hello Daniel."
Daniel "Hello Elizabeth, how are you?"
Elizabeth "I am doing fine, thank you for asking."
Daniel "Not a problem."
Elizabeth "What were you thinking we could do for Cordelia's birthday?"
Daniel "I was thinking we could go to a play, and after the play we could all go out to Cordelia's favorite restaurant."
Elizabeth "That sounds like a wonderful idea."
Daniel "Thank you."
Elizabeth "Is this going to be a surprise or not a surprise?"
Daniel "I was thinking it could be a surprise."
Elizabeth "Good idea."
Elizabeth and Daniel talked more about planning for Cordelia's birthday that is in a couple of days.
Daniel "I should be heading home soon I promised Cordelia I would not be long."
Elizabeth "Ok bye Daniel."
Daniel heads back home to find Cordelia asleep on the couch. He decides to wake her and ask her about her day.
Daniel "Good morning dear, how was your day?"
Cordelia "My day was ok, how was your day?"
Daniel "It was good."
Cordelia "Alright, I am going to go make dinner."
Daniel "Alright sweet heart."
Cordelia goes into the kitchen to make dinner while Daniel helps to set up the table. A couple of minutes later they sat down and ate dinner.
Daniel "Are you excited for your birthday?"
Cordelia "Not really."
Daniel "Why are you not excited?"
Cordelia "With everything going on I just am not myself."
Daniel "That is ok dear, I hope you feel a little better tomorrow."
After Cordelia and Daniel cleaned up dinner Cordelia went upstairs and went to bed, and shortly after Daniel went up to bed to.
Five days later.
Daniel "Good morning love."
Cordelia "Good morning."
Daniel "Happy birthday, I hope your excited."
Cordelia "Why? What do you have planned."
Daniel "Not a lot, just a meet up with your mother for dinner tonight."
Cordelia "I told you I was not myself, and you did not have to go all out for my birthday."
Daniel "I know, but I wanted to. Now go get dressed so we can eat breakfast."
Cordelia "Alright, I will be right back."
While Cordelia went to get dressed Daniel went downstairs to make chocolate chip pancakes, which were Cordelia's favorite thing for breakfast.
When Cordelia came down she was wearing a long blue dress.
Cordelia "How do I look?"
Daniel "You look beautiful!"
Cordelia "It smells good."
Daniel "Thank you, I made your favorite."
Cordelia "Chocolate chip pancakes."
Daniel "Yes it is."
Cordelia "You know me so well."
Daniel " What are you waiting for, let's eat."
Cordelia and Daniel sit down and start eating.
After Breakfast
Cordelia "What are we doing today?"
Daniel "First we have to go pick up your mother."
Cordelia "Alright, let's go."
Daniel and Cordelia arrive at Elizabeth's house fifteen minutes later.
Daniel "Stay in the car, I'll go get Elizabeth."
Cordelia "Alright dear."
Daniel goes over and knocks on the door.
Elizabeth "Is Cordelia here?"
Daniel "Yes, she is waiting in the car."
Elizabeth "What are we waiting for, let's go."
Elizabeth and Daniel get in the car with Cordelia.
Daniel "Is everyone ready?"
Cordelia "I am ready."
Elizabeth "So am I."
Daniel "Good now let's go, we do not want to be late."
A couple of minutes later they arrive at the theater. Cordelia Daniel and Elizabeth all get out of the car.
Cordelia "How did you manage to pay for this dear?"
Daniel "Your mother helped me a little bit."
Cordelia "Oh my gosh thank you so much."
Daniel "I am glad you like it."
Cordelia "I love it!"
Elizabeth "Shall we head in?"
Cordelia "Yes."
Elizabeth Daniel and Cordelia head inside to find their seats.
After the play.
Cordelia "Now were are we going?"
Daniel "You will have to wait to find out."
Cordelia "Alright."
The rest of the ride everyone was silent. Soon after they arrived at Cordelia's favorite restaurant.
Cordelia "Why are here?"
Elizabeth "To eat of course."
Cordelia "I know it is just we have not bin here in ages."
Daniel "It is your birthday, and me and your mother wanted to take you to your favorite restaurant."
Cordelia "Thank you so much!"
Daniel "You are welcome dear."
Waiter "follow me to your table please."
Daniel "Alright."
Waiter "Your server will be here in a bit."
Soon after the server left the waitress came.
Waitress "Can I get you any drinks to start with?"
Daniel "I will take a glass of wine."
Cordelia "I will take a glass of water, please."
Elizabeth "I will also take a glass of wine."
Waitress "I will be right back with your drinks."
The waitress leaves and five minutes later she returns.
Waitress "Here are your drinks."
Elizabeth "Thank you."
Waitress "What do you want to eat?"
Elizabeth "I will take the vegetable marrow farcie please."
Cordelia "Can I please have the filet mignons lili."
Daniel "May I have the sauté of chicken lyonnaise please."
Waitress "Alright. I will be back with your orders soon."
20 minutes the waitress arrives back with their food.
Waitress "I hope you enjoy your food."
Daniel "Thank you we will."
The rest of dinner they just sat there and ate their food. After they were all done Daniel payed and they left.
Cordelia "I do not know about you two but I am tired."
Daniel "That's probably because you are pregnant dear."
Cordelia "I know."
Cordelia fell asleep on the ride back, and so after they dropped off Elizabeth and went back to their house, Daniel carried Cordelia up the stairs and lauded her in bed.
Daniel "Good night love."
Cordelia "Good night dear."
