It has bin a month since Cordelia's birthday. Cordelia has bin pregnant for three months now, and her and Daniel still do not have anything at all for the babies.
Daniel "Good morning dear."
Cordelia "Good morning."
Daniel "I was thinking we don't have anything for the babies."
Cordelia "We still have about six more months left to prepare."
Daniel "Maybe we should at least start to look at baby things, and start to think about what we need."
Cordelia "Maybe your right. I will call my mother to come and help while you clean up breakfast."
Daniel "Alright. That sounds good to me."
Cordelia goes and dials Elizabeth's phone number, and waits for the phone to ring and for Elizabeth to pick up.
Elizabeth "Hello. Who is this?"
Cordelia "Mother it's me Cordelia."
Elizabeth "Cordelia darling, how are you?"
Cordelia "I am good Mother, How are you?"
Elizabeth "I am great, now why did you call me I bet it was not to just call and check up on me."
Cordelia "You are right. I was wondering if you could come over and help me and Daniel write a list of what we need for the babies."
Elizabeth "I would love to help the two of you with that."
Cordelia "Thank you so much!"
Elizabeth "I will be there in about ten minutes."
Cordelia "Alright I will see you when you get here."
Cordelia hangs up the phone and she goes into the other room with Daniel.
Daniel "What did your Mother say?"
Cordelia "She said that she will be over in a bit."
Daniel "That is good."
Cordelia "Yes it is good."
As Cordelia and Daniel waited for Elizabeth to arrive they started to pick up the house a little bit since it was a mess. When they are done cleaning, they hear the doorbell ring.
Cordelia "I will get it."
Daniel "Alright."
Cordelia opens up the door, and Elizabeth is standing outside.
Cordelia "Please, come in."
Elizabeth "Thank you."
Cordelia "We can sit at the kitchen table to write a list down of what we need for the babies."
Elizabeth "Alright. Can you get me a note pad and a pen?"
Cordelia "Yes mother."
Elizabeth "Thank you dear."
Cordelia got a note pad and a pen, and she Daniel and Elizabeth sat down at the kitchen table to write a list of things for the babies.
Elizabeth "I will help you come up with things you need, Cordelia you can write it on the paper and Daniel you can also come up with things."
Cordelia "That sounds good to me."
Daniel "It sounds good to me as well."
Elizabeth "Alright then, let's start."
About a hour later they had the list all wrote and complete.
1. Two cribs
2. Diapers
3. Wipes
4. Bottles
5. High chairs
6. Bibs
7. Strollers
8. Changing table
9. Baby clothes
Ten minutes later Elizabeth finished writing down a list of things Cordelia and Daniel needed for the baby.
Elizabeth "There the list is done, and if you think of anything else you might need for the baby you can put it onto the list."
Cordelia "Thank you Mother."
Daniel "Yes, thank you so much Elizabeth."
Elizabeth "Your welcome. Now if you need me for anything else call me and I will come over as soon as I can."
Cordelia "Of course Mother, we will."
Elizabeth "By dear."
Cordelia "Good by Mother."
Elizabeth left to go back home.
Daniel "Now what should we do?"
Cordelia "Well I am going to go make dinner since it is 4:30 already."
Daniel "Sounds good dear."
Cordelia went to go cook dinner while Daniel sat down and read the newspaper. A hour later Cordelia called Daniel for dinner.
Cordelia "Dinner is ready."
Daniel "Alright, I will be right there love."
Cordelia "We are having chicken and some peas tonight."
Daniel "Sounds amazing."
Cordelia "I am glad, now sit down."
Daniel "Alright ma'm I will.
Cordelia and Daniel ate dinner, and after dinner Cordelia cleaned up and then the both sat on the couch together.
Daniel "I had a great day."
Cordelia "I had a great day as well."
