"So are you two a thing now?" Fallon asked
Lava looked as if it burned the cheeks of the two girls as they both looked away, covering their faces
"Oh God it's so cute" He squealed
"I still think we have alot to talk about... but, ya never know" Ember mumbled, glancing over to the blonde
"Ouch" Gabrielle giggled
"OH god I didn-"
"Don't worry about it" The blonde chuckled
"Dammit, I'm late for class. I'll see you galls later?"
"Bye Fallzie"
"BYE EMMIIEEE" the boy squealed as he grabbed his coat from the chair
"BYE GABBIEE"
"BYE FALLLSSS" the blonde grinned
"oOOOoo when she matches your energy. Ember, keep this one" The boy smiled as he waved to his bestfriend
"Oh I plan on" the girl muttered under her breath
"Mhm?" the girl hummed, turning to face the brunette
"Oh don't worry about it" Ember chuckled
Gabrielle narrowed her brows slightly as she watched the brunette, then she started to get closer. The brunette's eyes widened slightly as she felt herself starting to shudder the closer Gabrielle came. Her lips barely hovered over Ember's ear, leaving a flowing hot breath to linger over her skin
"I'm not planning on losing you either" Gabrielle whispered before planting a soft kiss under the girl's ear
God, the boogieman, the Tooth Fairy or whoever created it all, Ember was ready to be taken off this earth because she'd die happy. The brunette swallowed a lump in her throat before sinking her teeth into her bottom lip
But nothing prepared her for the sweet pleasure than ran through her body. A warm tongue pressed flat against the side of Ember's neck and slid down her shoulder, Teeth barely grazed against her skin, teasing her slightly and bringing her goosebumps into play. Gabrielle's teeth then sank into the side of the girl's neck, tugging gently on the flesh not hard enough to leave a bruise but perfect enough to leave a bite mark in her skin
"So tell that girl over there that's been watching you all day that you belong to me" Gabrielle whispered once again while her eyes glanced over to the barrister who stood at the desk who rolled her eyes
Ember's eyes almost rolled back in her head in pleasure, never had she expected Gabrielle to act like that, she always seemed to quiet and shy with her pink blushes
"God what are you doing to me" Ember chuckled, finally finding the will to cool down
"I don't know what you're talking about" Gabrielle said coily
"Such a dumbass" Ember chuckled, turning to face the girl
As if lightening struck, Ember was paralyzed. Paralyzed by beauty that came so effortlessly
Gabrielle's eyes were glazed with honey liquid, so bright and glossy that diamonds would cry. She was blessed by all thing beautiful, from the dimple lines of her cheeks to her highscheek bones. Everything about her was majestic and Ember found herself lost in it all
"You're so fucking perfect" Ember muttered under her breath
"Thank you" The blonde chuckled
"I'm serious, I've never seen someone breathe and look so damn perfect at it. The standard has been set high" Ember chuckled
"You're such an ass sometimes"
"You like it" Ember smirked
"I like alot of things about you" Gabrielle said boldly
"Well look at you, flirting and shit"
"I- leave me alonnee" The blonde giggled
"For Henry to come and snatch you up again? Never"
"You don't have to worry about Henry" Gabrielle said
"Why not" Ember raised a brow
"Because you're the one I want. I've always wanted you. I had a terrible way of showing it but it's always been you Ember" Gabrielle mumbled
God would be blinded by the bright smile Ember had on her lips right now
"Weally?" she squeaked out causing the blonde to laugh
"Weally" She assured
"God I could die happy right now"
"Oh no you can't"
"Why not" the brunette pouted
"You're not allowed to leave me" Gabrielle grinned
"Oh I'm not planning on" Ember smiled
"Can I ask you a question?" Gabrielle asked
"You just did-"
"Shut up" The blonde glared making Ember chuckle
"But seriously"
"Go right ahead"
"What happened at your parent's dinner?" She asked
Ember's jaw locked as she glanced away from the blonde, feeling something starting to stir inside her again
It was only lastnight did she find out that her parents had spoken to her Dean and pulled her out of college without her knowledge. She had no idea they could even do that, but her parents were powerful people that had ways of persuading people, often manipulating to get what they want
"I know damn well you want nothing to do with that so there's no way you choose to be apart of the board" Gabrielle said
"I don't have a choice" She muttered
"Yes you do-"
"I really don't. No matter what I do, they'll always be there trying to cop me out of it. They'll find some way to build a path that leads back to them"
"What do you mean by that?"
"They pulled me out of college. I didn't know until a few hours ago. There's no where else for me to go other than the board now"
"Can they even do that?"
"I don't know. But somehow they did" Ember mumbled
"I'm so sorry Ember, I've never seen someone go to such lengths just to ruin someone else's happiness. They're so fucking selfish-"
"Don't apologize. I mean, your parents are basically doing the same aren't they?"
"They're... Pulling me behind them"
"What does that mean?" Ember asked
"They're doing something similar, but in this case I have to walk in their shadows. Literally. They're sending me for their meetings so I can 'learn' the ropes. I'm basically replacing them day by day and there's nothing I can do about it"
"Why can't you do something about it?"
"My parents might seen harmless sometimes but they're more powerful than you think. Why do you think they managed to become Atkins Hospital's lawyers?"
"I guess we're both fucked" Ember mumbled
"It's funny that we didn't grow up as bestfriends, all of this coincidences keep falling in and I feel like I'm in a book" Gabrielle chuckled
"You are but I understand what you're saying. Besides, we grew up really close to each other. Now we live a few houses away?" Ember chuckled
"It was destiny that we meet" Gabrielle shook her head smiling
"And now" Ember said, sliding her hands down to brush against Gabrielle's
The blonde's blush came forth again when Ember's fingers hooked around her own
"Now I'm here with a straight girl that seems to like me" She chuckled
"Oh don't judge me" Gabrielle pouted
"I'm not judging you sweetheart"
"I don't know how to explain it, but I'm confident in what I feel" Gabrielle mumbled, turning to face the girl
"And what do you feel?" Ember asked
Gabrielle sunk her teeth into her bottom lip before she slowly started to guide Ember's hands over to her chest, placing her palm flat and tender so that she could feel the rapid rhythm of her heart
Ember was taken back by the pounding rate Gabrielle's heart was going at, it was the same tempo of one who had just finished an intense workout session. Yet the blonde was as calm as possible, her cheeks were stained pink and she held a small smile on her face
"That's what happens every. Single. Time. I'm near you. God it's even worse when I think about you" Gabrielle whispered
"Y-You think about me?" Ember asked
That question made the blonde's expression fall, her smile faded instantly as her eyes darted directly into Ember's, forming a whirlpool of gold, powerful enough to drown her out
"I'm never not thinking about you Ember" Gabrielle stated
The brunette swallowed a small lump in her throat as she felt her skin start to tingle slightly
"You have no idea how hard I've fallen for you Ember Atkins but I promise I'll make sure to engrave it in your heart. Because I've never wanted to be with someone so badly, I've never wanted to hold someone so tightly, I've never wanted to give my all into a person as much as I want to give it all to you. I don't want to play around, I don't want stupid childish flirting Ember, I want the real thing. I want you" The girl said
I'm sure in Ember's mind she was doing her little dancy dance
Victory at last, the fair maiden had fallen into the trap she called her arms. How could she ever land someone so perfectly beautiful inside and out. Hell, she never thought she had a chance to start with
"And I know I've hurt you. God I know what I've put you through, I cannot apologize enough for the stupid, stupid decisions I've made but I'm going to make it up to you. I promise to fill you with nothing but every ounce of affection I can squeeze from within me. I'll spend my life forever making it up to you if it's the last thing I do. I want you to know I'm serious about this. No games. Just trust. Trust that I'm going to learn to love you, learn to protect your heart, even if I'm not deserving of it" Gabrielle said
Her warm fingers intertwined with Ember's once again as she brought them to her lips, leaving a feather like kiss on her knuckles
"Why fill me up with affection when you can just fill me up with cum-"
"EMBER ATKINS, OH MY FUCKING GODDDD" Gabrielle groaned before chuckling and burying her face deep into her two palms
The brunette titled her head back in laughter as her arms reached out to hook around Gabrielle's shoulders, pulling the girl close to her chest
Gabrielle's head rested gently against Ember's chest, but was startled at the fact that Ember's heart was pounding just as fast as her own
The two melted into each other's embrace, as they always did upon contact. There was just something about them that no one could come between
Ember's laughter slowly died down but a smile remained on her lips as big and bright as ever
Finally. Fina fucking ly. She was hearing the right things. The words she's craved, the words she fantasied. It honestly felt like a dream, but this Princess wasn't waiting on a Prince
But instead, she was waiting for an adorable singer who's voice had the power of music instruments, casting commands over her body
"You already know how I feel about you" Ember muttered, placing her chin on top of the girl's head as she hugged her closer
Gabrielle released a sigh as she snuggled even deeper into the girl, taking in the fading mint scented shampoo she was addicted to
"You're the girl that drives me crazy Gabrielle, I swear I've never felt like this about anyone before. I don't care how cliche it sounds. I've never been the same after I met you, God it fucks with me, so much. But all I've wanted was you Gabrielle" Ember whispered
It was hard for the both of them to not shed tears, salty releases trailed down their cheek as they both turned to face each other
"So what next?"
