"Let’s go then?” Jungkook said, his voice soft and warm as he extended his hand to Taehyung.

Taehyung smiled, closed the door and stepped out. Jungkook, ever the gentleman, was already by the car, opening the passenger door for him with a slight bow.

“Being a gentleman now, are we,  Jeon?” Taehyung teased, his lips curving into a playful grin.

Jungkook smirked, his gaze never leaving Taehyung’s. “Only for you,  Kim.”

The exchange felt natural between them now, a reflection of the bond they had grown over the past few weeks. What once started as rivalry ,full of snide remarks and teasing jabs ,had softened into something tender and unspoken.

Even before realizing they were mates, Jungkook had felt that magnetic pull toward Taehyung, a gravitational force he couldn’t quite explain.

and so did Taehyung. And now, knowing they were destined for each other made every moment together feel even more precious.

As Taehyung settled into the car, Jungkook made his way to the driver’s side and started the engine. The car ride was peaceful yet filled with warmth, their conversation flowing effortlessly. Jungkook, unable to resist the urge, held Taehyung’s hand across the console, his thumb gently stroking the back of it.

Every so often, he would lift Taehyung’s hand to his lips, pressing light kisses against his knuckles.

Taehyung’s cheeks would flush every time, though he pretended not to notice, instead continuing their lighthearted chatter.

“Are you ever going to tell me where we’re going?” Taehyung finally asked, feigning annoyance but unable to hide the curiosity in his voice.

Jungkook chuckled, glancing at him for a brief moment before focusing back on the road. “Patience, my prince. You’ll see soon enough.”

Taehyung sighed dramatically, leaning his head against the window as if in defeat, though the smile tugging at his lips betrayed his act.

After about fifteen minutes, the car slowed to a stop, and Jungkook parked it neatly along a secluded stretch. Taehyung, eager and curious, stepped out of the car, only to freeze in place.

The familiar sound of waves crashing against the shore met his ears, and his eyes widened as he took in the scene before him. The beach stretched endlessly under the moonlight, its soft sands glowing faintly under the silvery glow. Not a single person was in sight, and the vast ocean before them seemed to hum with serenity.

For a moment, Taehyung was speechless. Then, without warning, he turned and lunged at Jungkook, wrapping him in a tight hug. “WTF, Jungkook! The beach! I love the beach so much!” he exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement.

Jungkook laughed, wrapping his arms around Taehyung and squeezing him gently. “I know, Tae,” he murmured against his hair.Recalling the moment the three of them came here, and how happy Taehyung was.

But then Taehyung pulled back slightly, his brows furrowing. “Wait, why is the beach so empty? Beaches are supposed to be crowded, especially at  night. People love late-night walks by the water.”

Jungkook smirked, brushing a stray strand of hair from Taehyung’s face. “I told you, Tae. I wanted it to be just us tonight… just you and me.”

Taehyung blinked, his lips parting slightly in surprise. “Hold on,” he said narrowing his eyes suspiciously. “Don’t tell me… did you rent the whole beach?”

Jungkook tilted his head, his smirk widening as his intense gaze locked onto Taehyung’s. “And what if I did?”

Taehyung’s jaw dropped, his eyes darting between Jungkook and the empty beach.

"Jungkook, are you serious?! You didn't have to!"

Jungkook shrugged nonchalantly, though the playful glint in his eyes betrayed his amusement.

" For you i had to,”

he replied, stepping closer until they were inches apart. “You deserve the world, Tae. And if I can’t give you the world, the least I can do is give you a private beach for one night.”

Taehyung’s heart swelled at the sincerity in Jungkook’s voice, and he felt his cheeks heat up. “but....i already have found my world kook....,” he whispered, though his smile was soft, his eyes glistening with emotion.

“huh??,” Jungkook said, utterly confused

With a shy smile, Taehyung said, “You and Jaybum.... you both are my world....”

Jungkook’s breath hitched at those words. He quickly pulled Taehyung in a hug.

As if everything will shatter if he's not

close with his mate....his Taehyung.

After a while the pulled back from the hug and Jungkook said,

"So? My Prince? If we may proceed?" Jungkook said, his voice low and soft as he reached his hand out to Taehyung. His gaze was full of anticipation, as though every moment with Taehyung was an experience he wanted to savor forever.

Taehyung's lips curled into a teasing smile, the warmth of his affection evident in his eyes. Without hesitation, he placed his hand gently in Jungkook's, replying , "Of course,my soldier." Being dramatic. The words were sweet, laced with a sense of comfort and belonging, the kind that made Jungkook’s heart race in the most wonderful way.

The evening air was crisp, and as they walked together, Taehyung couldn’t help but marvel at how perfect this moment was. The night seemed to be made just for them. The beach was  quiet, the city lights casting a soft glow around them, and the only sound was the rhythm of their footsteps.

They walked in sync, as if they had always been meant to be this way.

As they reached their destination, a small but intimate ice cream parlor, Taehyung raised an eyebrow in surprise.

The shop, though modest in appearance, felt warm and inviting, its exterior softly lit, as if it was calling them in. There was something about it that felt different from any other ice cream shop—a special energy that made it feel like it was just for them.

Jungkook, with a mischievous smile, made Taehyung sit. The parlor was cozy, with soft jazz music playing in the background, adding to the intimate atmosphere. A

few small tables were scattered across the room, but the space had a quiet, almost private feel to it.

Taehyung glanced around, taking in the unique decorations—charming vintage posters, fairy lights draped across the ceiling, and the smell of freshly made waffle cones wafting in the air.

But what caught his attention the most was the sight of Jungkook. He had already stepped behind the counter, acting as if he were the chef, his movements smooth and confident as he prepared their treats. Taehyung’s heart fluttered at the sight, realizing just how much Jungkook had thought ahead to make this moment perfect for him.

Jungkook smiled as he turned to Taehyung, his hands steady as he scooped the ice cream into a bowl. Just them, in this little corner of the world—and it felt like a dream, like a moment frozen in time.

“You’re going to love this,” Jungkook said, his voice soft yet filled with excitement as he placed the bowl in front of Taehyung. His eyes gleamed with pride as he looked at the creation before him—Taehyung’s favorite flavors, perfectly arranged in a way that was both beautiful and delicious.

Taehyung couldn’t help but let out a soft gasp. The ice cream in front of him was a work of art—two scoops of his favorite  top and a sprinkle of crushed pistachios. It was the kind of thing that made Taehyung’s mouth water just by looking at it.

“You really went all out,” Taehyung said, his voice tinged with awe. He smiled up at Jungkook, his heart swelling with affection for the man who had gone above and beyond to make this moment unforgettable.

Jungkook chuckled softly, running a hand through his hair as he took a seat across from Taehyung.

“I wanted to make it perfect. I want everything with you to be perfect,” he said, his tone serious but tender, his gaze never leaving Taehyung’s face.

Taehyung’s heart fluttered at the sincerity in Jungkook’s voice. He picked up the spoon and took a bite of the ice cream, the rich, creamy texture melting in his mouth.

The flavors were as delightful as he remembered, each bite sending waves of comfort and happiness through him.

He looked up at Jungkook, a soft smile playing on his lips. “It’s perfect. Just like you kookie,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

The way Jungkook’s eyes softened at the compliment made Taehyung’s heart skip a beat.

Jungkook leaned forward slightly, his hand resting on the table as he looked at Taehyung with such tenderness that it made Taehyung’s breath catch.

They sat there for a moment, simply enjoying the ice cream and the quiet between them.

When they finished their ice cream, Taehyung’s excitement seemed to double. He wiped his mouth with the napkin, then placed it down with a decisive look in his eyes. He couldn’t hold back his eagerness any longer.

“Kook! Let’s go! I want to go to the beach!!” Taehyung cheered, his voice full of enthusiasm as he bounced slightly in his seat, unable to contain his excitement.

He had always loved the beach—the feeling of sand between his toes, the calming sound of waves crashing against the shore, the endless horizon where the sea met the sky. It was a place of freedom for him, and now, with Jungkook by his side, it felt like the perfect way to enjoy this wonderful night.

Jungkook chuckled, his heart swelling with affection for Taehyung. The way Taehyung’s energy lit up the room was infectious.

He couldn’t help but smile at his mate’s childlike excitement.

The sound of Taehyung’s laughter filled the quiet beach as he ran ahead, his feet sinking slightly into the cool, soft sand. The waves lapped gently at his ankles, the water cold yet refreshing. He felt free, the kind of free that came with the wind brushing against his cheeks and the endless stretch of ocean in front of him.

Jungkook trailed behind him, a small smile playing on his lips as he watched Taehyung run with childlike glee. There was something about the way Taehyung looked at that moment—his hair tousled by the breeze, his smile wide and carefree—that made Jungkook’s heart swell with affection.

“You’re too fast!” Jungkook called out, pretending to be out of breath as he strolled lazily toward the shoreline.

“Come on, slowpoke!”Taehyung teased, turning around to face Jungkook. His feet were now submerged in the water, the waves brushing against him. The coolness sent a slight shiver up his spine, but it was oddly comforting.

Jungkook eventually caught up, and it wasn’t long before the two of them were splashing water at each other, laughing and giggling like kids.Careful enough  to not to make each other completely wet.

Taehyung yelped when a particularly big splash from Jungkook on his face, and in retaliation, he kicked water at Jungkook’s legs.

“Is that all you got?” Jungkook teased, laughing as Taehyung huffed in mock annoyance.

But as they played in the water, a low, rumbling sound echoed through the sky, cutting through their laughter. Taehyung froze for a moment, his eyes darting upward.

“Did you hear that?” he asked, his voice quieter now.

Jungkook followed his gaze to the darkening sky. The faint rumble grew louder, and moments later, a flash of lightning illuminated the clouds above.

“Thunderstorm?” Taehyung guessed, his brows furrowing.

The wind began to pick up, carrying a sudden chill with it. “I think it’s going to rain,” he added, his voice tinged with concern.

Jungkook frowned, glancing at the sky with frustration. “What? No way!” he exclaimed, running a hand through his hair. “I planned so much for tonight! This was supposed to be perfect.”

Taehyung, noticing Jungkook’s disappointment, stepped closer and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Hey, it’s okay,” he said softly, offering a reassuring smile. “No one can predict the weather, Kook. Besides, we’re still having fun, right?”

Before Jungkook could respond, the first few droplets of rain began to fall, quickly turning into a steady drizzle.

“Oh, great,” Jungkook muttered, but Taehyung only laughed, tilting his head up to let the rain hit his face.

“Come on, let’s find shelter!” Jungkook said, grabbing Taehyung’s hand. The two of them began running toward the nearest cottage, but the rain came down harder, drenching them within seconds.

As they ran, Taehyung suddenly stumbled over a hidden rock in the sand.

With a loud splash, he fell into the shallow water, soaking himself completely.

“Tae!” Jungkook shouted, quickly kneeling beside him. “Are you okay?”

Taehyung choughed, his wet hair sticking to his forehead. “I’m fine, I’m fine,” he said  holding out his hand for Jungkook to help him up. “That was...unexpected.”

Jungkook shook his head, half-amused, half-concerned, as he pulled Taehyung to his feet. “You’re completely soaked now,” he said, his tone softening as he brushed some wet sand off Taehyung’s arm.

The rain was relentless now, the wind howling as they made their way to the cottage. By the time they reached the door, Taehyung was completely wet,

His clothes clinging to his body.

Jungkook pushed the door open, and they stumbled inside, the sound of the rain muffled by the cozy wooden walls. Taehyung leaned against the doorframe, catching his breath.

The cozy surroundings greeted them. It wasn’t lavish, but it was charming—a snug little retreat with warm wooden interiors, a soft couch by the window, and a small kitchenette in the corner.

The dim lighting from the lamps gave the place a serene, comforting glow. Taehyung looked around,

momentarily distracted by how quaint the space was, before his gaze shifted to the window. The rain was now a downpour, heavy drops pelting against the glass.

“The rain’s pretty intense,” Jungkook commented, his brows furrowing as he peered outside. The rhythmic sound of the storm filled the room, drowning out everything else.

Taehyung, biting his lip, suddenly spoke, worry evident in his voice. “Jungkook, I think we should check on Jaybum. What if he gets scared with this weather?”

Jungkook nodded, already pulling his phone from his pocket. “Yeah, let me call Jimin,” he said. As if on cue, his phone started ringing. Seeing Jimin’s name on the screen, Jungkook immediately answered and put it on speaker.

“Hey Chim, is everything alright?” Jungkook asked, a hint of anxiety in his tone.

“Don’t worry, Kook,” Jimin’s cheerful voice came through the line. “Everything’s fine here. I was just calling to let you know that the weather report says there’s going to be a big storm tonight. You and Tae should find proper shelter and stay put until morning.”

“We’re already in a cottage, Chim,” Jungkook assured him, but his worry lingered. “But...Jaybum—”

“Kook, relax. Jaybum’s completely fine. He’s been with me before, remember? Yoongi

hyung’s here too, and we’re having fun. He’s not scared at all,” Jimin replied with his usual calmness.

Taehyung, who was standing beside Jungkook, biting his nails in worry, spoke up. “Chim, please give him a glass of milk before bed. He won’t sleep without it,” Taehyung requested, his voice soft but insistent.

“Of course, Tae. You don’t even have to ask. And really, don’t worry about him,” Jimin reassured them. “You two should stay there for the night. The weather’s unpredictable, and it’s better to be safe. Come back tomorrow.”

Jungkook sighed deeply. “I guess there’s no other way,” he muttered, his frustration evident.

After the call ended, the room grew quieter save for the sound of the rain outside. Just as Jungkook was about to speak, Taehyung sneezed. It was soft but noticeable, and Jungkook’s head whipped toward him.

“Tae, are you okay?” he asked, concern lacing his voice.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I think it’s because I fell into the water earlier,” Taehyung replied, though his voice was slightly hoarse. Before he could finish his sentence, another sneeze escaped him.

“Fuck, Tae!” Jungkook exclaimed, rising from the couch. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier? You’re soaked! Go change before you catch a cold.”

Taehyung blinked, realizing Jungkook was right. “But how? We don’t have any spare clothes here,” he muttered, his brows knitting together. Despite being a vampire, walking around in wet clothes wasn’t ideal—it was uncomfortable and could still make him feel under the weather.

Jungkook stood in silence for a moment, his mind racing. Then, with a sudden idea, he started unbuttoning the shirt he was wearing over his t-shirt. He slipped it off and handed it to Taehyung. “Wear this,” he said. “It’ll be big on you, but it’s dry, and it’ll work for now.”

Taehyung hesitated for a second before nodding quickly. “Thanks,” he murmured, taking the shirt and heading into the bathroom to change.

As Taehyung disappeared into the bathroom, Jungkook let out a deep sigh and collapsed onto the couch.

He rubbed his hands over his face, his frustration mounting. This night was supposed to be perfect. He’d spent weeks planning it—there was supposed to be a grand dinner under the stars, karaoke, dancing on the beach, and so many other little moments he wanted to create with Taehyung.

Instead, they were stuck inside, drenched and cold, with a storm raging outside His gaze shifted to the window, watching the rain pour relentlessly. The sound of thunder in the distance only added to his disheartened mood.

He clenched his fists briefly, thinking about how his efforts had gone to waste.
