"Goodmorning Draco," i greeted Draco as i enter the kitchen door.
"Mademoiselle, your food is up on the table. Here let me fetch you some water," he helped me sit down and gave me a glass of water before continuing with his chores.
Oh what do you know? All my life I've been forced to do these stuff but look at me now, sitting elegantly while someone do the cleaning and stuff to me.
I feel like a princess.
"Thank you," i thanked before pulling the chair closer to the table.
"Uhm so Draco, about you and that mini book... Uhm, I've read something that i didn't really understand the first time. Care to explain it to me?" I asked as i cut the meat on my plate into smaller pieces.
He looked at me then cleaned his hands before he sits on the opposite side of the table and pulled his chair closer.
"Our mission is to fulfill the greatest desire of our master and not until that he or she finds it, will we consider it as mission accomplished. While doing this we also grant any other request from our current masters which in my case tgat would be you. We'll do everything." He answered politely as he also starts touching his food.
"I'm sorry, we?"
"Yes, there are alot of other waybooks scattered all across the globe and i am not the only one if that's what you thought,"
Oh, cool then.
"Right, but you're all nameless?" I asked as i recall him telling me to name him. What was his name from his last master be?
"Well you give us names so we aren't exactly nameless you see," he shrugged.
Good point.
"Uh yeah, uh anyways back to your answer, do you know what my greatest desire is?" I asked, i wanna know. Curiosity is filling me.
"I do," he answered immediately making me smile.
"Then please do tell me,"
He was taken back by what i said, he kept silent for a moment and took his time to chew his food.
"I'm sorry mademoiselle but i can't tell you,"
"Really? But i thought you said you'll do anything, EVERYTHING for me?" I said popping the wprd 'everything' in my sentence.
"I'm sorry mademoiselle but i can't tell you," he politely said again making me frown.
"Draco, as your master i demand to know why I'm timetraveled back to the worlds most deadly time just to grant my greatest desire that is a total stranger to me." I sarcastically said with a demanding tone.
"Mademoiselle--"
"Tell me now,"
"'Mademoiselle i can't really tell you. Yes we would do everything for our masters but--"
"There is an exemption." I cut him off, i rolled my eyes and rest my cheeks on my palm,
"Then you shouldn't use the word 'everything' if there is a word 'exemption' don't you think?" I scoffed and looked away.
"Mademoiselle, we waybooks could never decline or say no to our master's order or request," he tried to explain.
"Then why say nothing to my request?"
"Listen Young Master. The mother waybook is aware on how tricky humans are that is why it built magical barrier, a magical force to block our memory of something that is supposed to be hidden," He explained making me pout.
"So your telling me that you don't.. know?" I raised my brows at him examining his face.
"Nope not exactly. The magic just blocks our memory, so it's still there but blocked, the reason i can't tell you why." He said making me bit my lip.
"Yes, we made an oath to fulfill all our master's needs, wants, and desire but out of our capability. Our powers also has limitations. As you see nothing is perfect. Not on your world and not on mine."
I pursed my lips together after that. Maybe I've gone too far.
"Ooo--kay! So aside from you bieng my guide. What else are you to me?" I asked.
"Well i am your genie and your butler." He started making me think.
Hmm genie.. "Wait so if your sorta my genie, does that mean if i lost the book you are no longer under my command?" I asked in horror.
"Nope. I'm still under your command for no one could see the waybook aside from you mademoiselle but ofcourse unless you show them the book then they see."
Phew for a moment there i was scared.
"That's a relief then, but is it necessary that i bring with me the book always so that you'd be by my side?"
"No Mademoiselle, no need. We always follow you everywhere you go. We monitor you time by time." He explained.
Wait what!?
"Al-ways.. f-following me?"
"Except the bathroom ofcourse, but we guard you still on the door." He shrugged like it was nothing.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait. Are you telling me that you were there yesterday? With me and Heph?" I asked.
"Yes," he answered.
"Then why didn't you show yourself?"
Really why?
"Well i thought you don't need my help--"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!?" I shouted iur of frustration.
So this guy was with me yesterday yet he didn't bother helping me when i needed a hand. Is he serius!?
"Uh mademoiselle are you okay?"
"Do i look like I'm okay!?" I banged my utensils making him shut up.
"If you were supposed to be my guide slash butler slash genie why didn't you come help me when i needed help with my clothes!?" I spat. That took him back, how come does he realize that just now?
"Oh-- about that.."
"Yes?" U asked impatiently asking to continue.
"I kinda-- uh," he cleared his troat while he stiffles his laugh.
Are you kidding me!?
"What? Kinda what?"
"Welp, I was busy looking at your horrible gestures that i forgot what I'm supposed to do, I'm sorry," he said fastly.
"Forgot!? You watched me naked!?" I growled making him loose his control over his laugh.
"Yeah.. I'm sorry mademoiselle, it was very amusing! Especially the part where you two interact. It was very funny," he said in between his laughs.
I was about to speak abother word when he ran out of the kitchen.
I groaned and finished my food as fast as i could before following him. He cant go anywhere it's his duty to look after me.
I went towards the living room just to see Draco sitting comfortably on the table buting his lip hard.
"You're unbelievable!" I yelled at Draco who is now rolling on the floor, clutching his stomach and laughing out loud.
I grabbed the pillow next to me then threw it on his face but he just continued to roll despite my irritation.
"Argh! You are literally the worse guide!" I roared as i cross my arms in front of my chest.
I can't believe it. This guy was there with me, watching from afar when i needed him the most.
"You are aware that he saw me naked right? ME NAKED!" I shouted making him laugh louder.
"Hey! Are you even listening!?" I groaned and took another pillow to throw at him.
After almost a minute he started to calm down and sober up then sat on the farthest seat opposite to mine.
"But mademoiselle you didn't call for my name--"
"Does that matter? Don't you have common sense!?" I shouted.
He just smiled and looked away. I was about to throw another round of banter when someone knocked at the door.
I calmed myself and sat straight on the couch, "Draco what time is it?"
"It's 7 mademoiselle," Draco answered immediately already sobered up.
"He's early," i commented when i realised the only person who knows about me aside from Draco.
"He's a warrior, and to be honest that is quite late, they wake up early everyday." He said in a matter of fact tone.
I rolled my eyes at him and watched Draco go towards the door. To my discomfort he asked me to come over.
Do i really have to?
I sighed and stood up next to Draco who snapped his fingers once turning the whole area back into the filthy hut.
"Mademoiselle open the door." He ordered making me frown.
"What? Why me?" I protested.
"Because you were the one Hephaestion's expecting not me,"
"And do i look like i care?" I asked as i point at my face.
Cause i really don't. I don't have any interest on this guy either. Why would i even bother?
"He'll kill me mademoiselle. Would you rather have me walking around you or hide and show myself when no one is around since i would have to fake my death." He tried to scare me but i can't be swayed.
"Your overreacting." I rolled my eyes.
"No I'm not. I can sense it. You saw that he show no mercy on the village and only us is left here unharmed." He said but i totally ignored it.
What gives? Draco has powers and Heph is just a legendary warrior.
"Your my 'brother' right he won't," i firmly said as the door knocking became harder.
"Stubborn." He whispered.
"Hmph! I heard that!" He just gave me a small smile then went to open the door.
Goodboy!
"Goodmorning Margaux-- oh hi Draco." Heph's bright tone became dark at the sight of Draco.
"Hello brother," Draco greeted then bowed lightly giving a small space to Heph to look pass through him then to me.
"Margaux," he smiled. He barged in and hugged me tight.
Boundaries. Please!
"Eww step aside mister," i groaned as i did my best to push him.
"Margaux your breaking my heart." He looked at me with sadness in his eyes.
"Do i look like i care--" i started but Draco cleared his throat while calling my name in between.
"Margaux," he opened his eyes wide making me groan.
I looked at Heph who was busy looking at my face, "Why are you here?"
"Well i came to tell you that i decided to bring you with me," he started making frown.
"Bring me where?"
"It's a secret location."
"And your bringing me?" I asked in disbelief.
"Yes." He answered with finality in his voice.
"What if i say that i won't come with you?" I smirked but he just grinned at me.
"Oh you will." He said pulling a sword from his pocket then put it on my neck.
I gasp in shock then looked at Draco asking for help but he just shook his head.
"I-i'll come. Let go of me." I said. Thankfully he slid his sword back to his waist then hugged me again.
I could still feel the cold metal on my neck as i let out heavy breaths on Heph's shoulder.
"That's great! Thanks Margaux, I'll fetch you in the afternoon, pack your things.. if you have any." He said then kissed my forehead.
I just gave him a small smile.
"We better get packing then right Margaux?" Draco entered the scene making me sigh in relief.
My knees are getting wobbly and i have goosebumps all over my body.
"See you two later." Heph said then went out of the door.
I weakly hold on Draco's shoulder and waved goodbye to Heph as i watched him ran with horse.
As soon as he was out of sight Draco immediately closed the door and carried me bridal style.
He snapped his fingers to turned the old hut back to the beautiful mansion before dropping me carefully on the couch.
"That's what you get for bieng stubborn." He whispered making me groan.
I held my neck afraid of the next things to happen.
"Draco, I'm scared." I whispered. Draco just looked at me before giving me a mug filled with hot cocoa.
"You'll be fine. I'm here to protect you anyways. And that stunt Hephaestion pulled might be dangerous but he didn't mean it. He's just pissed with you attitude. Try to work about it or both our lives woyld be in danger." He said as he caress my back.
I just smiled at him and put down the mug on the center table. I hugged myself drowning myself with my own thoughts.
"Wait, so how exactly are we gonna pack?" I asked after some few minutes of relaxation.
He just smiled and gave me a bath towel.
"Go wash yourself and take your time. I'll take care of the rest. It's my job after all." He winked making me roll my eyes.
"Yeah whatever." I pushed him aside and jumped out of the couch.
I streched my legs and arms and did some yoga post before looking at Draco.
"Uhm, Draco?"
"Yes?"
"What was your most favorite name given by your masters from the past?" I asked curiously.
"Well that would be Maxwell. It was given by my latest master."
"Mrs. Witts?" I asked, that's a cool name. It suits him.
But Draco suits him better. In my opinion. Well he looks like the Draco in my imaginations.
"Well that's cool so i better get going then." I said then pointed upstairs.
He just nodded and went to the kitchen. He's so fond of the kitchen and i dont know why.
I went inside the shower and took off all my clothes.
I hope this calms me.

"Mademoiselle! Hephaestion is coming!" Draco shouted from below.
I groaned and rolled over my bed. Looks like I've slept after all those reading.
I lazily looked at the floor where my blanket and book fell thinking if i should pull it up and fix it or leave it be.
At the end i decided to pick it up then I jumped off the bed to stretch my arms then opened the curtain. Huh what time is it?
"Mademoiselle! Hephaestion is co-"
"I know! I'm coming!" I shouted and ran down the stairs. I checked my dress on the hallway before jumping down beside Draco.
"Uh i thought you said you packed. Where are the bags?" I asked as i look around the room.
He just chuckled and opened the door for me. I shrugged and went out. Huh i almost forgot that this place is so old fashioned. Oh well.
I walked down next the tree where i saw some of our stuffs 'kuno' laying underneath.
"Isn't that too small?" I asked as i look at the bagages.
He just shrugged and sat beside me.
"Just incase you haven't noticed our house is supposed to be a hut so our bagages are supposed to be small. Get it?" He said sarcastically.
"Sheesh, just asking." I rolled my eyes and looked away.
"He's here." I said as i saw his horse approaching together with some soldiers trailing at the back.
"Stand up Mademoiselle." Draco whispered.
I obediently did so and waited for Heph to reach us.
As soon as Heph approached he jumped down his horse immediately and came to hug me.
"Too tight." I said in between my breaths.
"Oh I'm sorry." He apologised then looked at Draco.
"Is that all?"
"Yes brother."
Heph nodded and then hand signalled his men to take the bag.
"I brought some horses for easier travel. Are you guys ready?" Heph asked as he wraps his arms around my waist.
Too much for the word boundaries.
"Heph I'm afraid to tell you but i don't knkw how tl ride a horse." I said slowly while he pulls an elegant horse before me.
Heph looked at me in shock then nodded afterwards.
"Then you'll be riding with me." He said as he snaps his hands to order his men to take the horse that is supposed to be mine.
I looked at Draco for help but he just shook his head and jumped up to his own horse.
I sighed in disappointment then looked at Heph who was already on his horse and has his hand stretched out ready to pull me up.
Here we go.

"Uhm Heph! I have a question!" I shouted as i hug tightly on Heph's waist.
I really should've gone for Draco he seems to travel smoother than this guy.
"What is it!?" Heph shouted while still whipping the horse to make it run faster.
"Uh why did you decide to travel by noon!? Is the secret place near here!?"
"Nope!"
"Then are you planning to travel all night!? Isn't it safer by day-- oh!" I shouted when Hephaestion suddenly stopped the horse. I almost fell good thing Heph has good reflexes and caught me midway.
"Uh thanks," i tried to smile as i hold my head still. I suddenly feel dizzy.
"We're here." He said.
"Uh so this is the secret location your talking about?" I asked unsurely.
I looked around the area. We are on top of a hill and below it are tents aligned perfectly, one looks alot bigger than the others which i could say would be the leaders tent.
At the right side of the tents is a cool large pond. Some horses are tied next to it and some are taking a bath.
I'm not sure i want to go there.
"Nope this is not the secret location I'm talking about but well be staying here for the night." He answered then jumped down the horse.
He held the rope and walked the horse downhill.
I pouted and just glanced at Draco's direction. He seems to be paying attention and observant to the new area.
As we walk pass through the tents whenever we went pass a soldier it would take time to give a small bow before continuing with it's doing, what ever it is.
"You'll be staying with me. And Draco would be staying there. Don't wirry it's comfy at my place." Heph said as he ties the horse to the ground.
"Wait, that can't be right." I protested while Heph carries me down the horse.
"How so?"
"Well for one, i barely know you. Two, I'm a girl and your a boy, meaning it's extremely inappropriate for us both to stay in the same tent. Thirdly, Draco is my brother. Shouldn't i stay with him and not you. I say we stay together both of us." I said. Heph gave me an amused smile then shook his head.
"One, you lost your memory but before you did you know all of me, basically everything about me, specially on Alex but lets not talk about that," he started as he moves closer to me.
"H-hey! Back off!" I shouted.
He smirked and stopped walking. He crossed his arms then looked at me in the eyes. "Number two, I won't touch you without you consent so nothing to worry about. Number three I'm pretty sure Draco here is okay if you stay with me than him, right Draco?" He asked then looked at Draco.
"Absolutely brother," Draco nodded then carried our bagages with him before walking out.
My jaw dropped at his response. How dare he!?
"See Margaux? Nothing to worry about. Come inside, I'm pretty sure your hungry, let me fill you up." He said then patted my shoulder.
I closed my eyes tightly. I hate my mind.
I sighed and looked at Draco, he was leaning on the entrance of the tent watching over me.
I smiled and waved him goodbye before getting inside the tent.
Inside there was a large table with different fruits and foods served.
I sat on the opposite chair where Heph is then took a large bread.
I ripped a piece and looked at Heph.
"You didn't put any poison here right?" I asked as i examined the piece of bread in my hands.
He chuckled then took the piece that i broke and ate it in front of me.
I rolled my eyes and started to eat while i watch him pour us both a glass of wine.
"You know Margaux, killing through poison isn't my thing, though if i put something in your food it wouldn't be poison." He said before drinking wine from his cup.
"What?" I asked through my full mouth.
He just shook his head and minded his own business. I minded my own too as i dig in.
After we were done eating he left me inside the tent, he told me he has agendas to take care off. I didn't ask more since i didn't really care.
As i roam around the tent i eventually got bored. I peeked out the tent door and made sure no one is looking.
I walked silently to Draco's tent where i saw him leaning at the edge of his bed comfortably while he reads a book.
"Draco! Psst!" I called his attention. He looked at me then closed his book.
"Shouldn't you be asleep by now?" He asked as he sits properly on his bed.
I pouted and entered the tent and sat besides him. I pulled my knees up and hugged them.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but.. i miss my home." I sighed as i look out of the tent.
"Your home? Together with both of your parents?" Draco asked making me chuckle and shook my head.
"No, I mean the home i live in before Mr. Fernando came to us. Indeed it was a filthy and wrecked place, but I've spent all my childhood there." I explained.
Draco looked at me observantly while he nods.
I smiled at him then leaned back the bed. Hmm comfy.
"I could feel your longing but I'm afraid that the reason why we are here is stronger than that. If what you feel right now overpass the feelings that led us both here, in just a snap of a finger i could bring you there. After all it is my duty to bring to you your greatest desire." He explained making me less worried.
I'm safe.
"You know I've been thinking.." i said as i took a pillow and hug it.
"Thinking what?"
"Thinking of what's my greatest desire silly," i laughed and looked at him. He raised his brows.
"And what is it?" He asked.
"Well i have four things in mind. Wealth, Peace, Love, and Security."
"And?"
"Well if it is wealth there would be no reason for us both to time travel back in the past which would be the same thing with security. That leaves me to peace and love." I started.
"But then this couldn't be peace since we're like in the middle of a war zone,"
"And that leaves you to love, isn't it?" Draco finished my sentence. I looked at him and nodded my head.
"So what's your 'but' about that?"
"Well i couldn't feel anything to Heph and he's just really not my type so everything is really confusing." I frowned.
Draco looked at me and pinched my cheeks.
I sighed deeply and buried my head on the pillow. He took his book and let me relax.
"Drac, i have a question." I said after a comforting minute of silence.
"Hmm?" He hummed.
"How old are you?"
"Well I'm 24," he said, i frowned and pulled him to examine his face.
"You sure look like 24 years old but how long have you been a waybook or something? I mean in Aladdin the genie is quite too old but looked young somehow. Are you like him?"
He laughed at my statement and pushed my hands aside. "Haha nope. To answer you question I've been a waybook for 6 thera-years now."
"Thera-years?" I asked confused. What the heck is a thera-year?
"Thera-year it's what we call the years from our planet so that we won't get confused. You see the hours in my planet is way longer than yours so if i based my answer on your years then I'd be almost a 100 earth years working as a waybook." He explained.
"Your planet sounds interesting. Could you tell me more?" I delightfully cheered.
"Sure. Our planets name is Thera, it is the twin sister of the Earth. It has the same shape and diameter but instead of countries our land is devided into seven parts, namely the La Yopa, Gimal Won, Lut Dapil, Harmonia, Nas Gahan, Agua Soga, and To Mante."
"Like 7 continents?"
"Hmm could be, we call it realms." He shrugged then leaned at his back. Now we are at the same level and our shoulders are almost touching.
"You said twin sister of Earth. Why can't scientist find it? You know.. your planet?" I asked.
He looked up and laughed. "Just like how science couldn't explain magic. That is how."
I snorted and took the book he was reading in his hand.
"So how much exactly is your Thera-years equivalent to our Earth-years?"
"15 years." He answered immediately.
"And your 24?" I confirmed.
"Yup," he said proudly.
"15 times 24.. that would be.. and then your a waybook for.. uh hey Drac? How long do you have to be a waybook?" I ask as i continue to calculate his age.
"10 thera-years." He shrugged and took back his book from my hands.
"10 thera-years, and you've already been one for 6 years that means.. and then plus 4 more years to your age.. I've got it!" I shouted making Draco almost throw his book.
"Got what?" He asked confused.
"You bacame a waybook when you turned 18 and in Earth-years it would be 270. Now your 24 your 360. You said you've been a waybook for 6 thera-years that means you've been here on earth for 90 years. And since you said that you have to be a waybook for 10 years, it only means that you.. how many is it.. have 60 more years before your free, or is that what you call it?" I asked excitedly.
"Your good in math i see. Yeah 60 more years and I'm free." He agreed.
"Your realms names are interesting. Which realm do you come from?" I poked his cheek to prevent him from sleeping. It's getting pretty late but i still want to know more stuff.
"La Yopa."
La Yopa.. "What is the difference of your country- i meant- realm from the others? That is if it was okay for you to answer.." i said slowly.
He opened his eyes and raised his brows. "Huh seriously? And here i thought that you don't have any consideration."
I glared at him and slapped his shoulders. "Just answer me."
"Well, La Yopa is the realm of fire. If your ganna ask if i have fire magic, yes i have but it has been disabled temporarily while i am working as a waybook." He explained and i nodded.
I was about to ask what the other realms powers would be when Heph's voice filled the air.
"Margaux!"
"Urgh! But i have so much more to ask." I pouted and looked at Draco.
He just shook his head and went out of the tent.
"Act that your asleep quick!" He whispered before going out to meet Heph.
I sighed and layed down the bed. I closed my eyes and did my best to not move my eyelids and make my breathing normal. Based on what i always read that's people's bases when a person is asleep or not.
'Margaux hates bieng alone, she's got traumatised ever since that incident happened that caused her amnesia.' I heard Draco reason out making me scoff.
Yeah right, i love bieng alone it helps me think.
'Is that so? I'll keep that in mind. Now where is she?' I heard Heph baritone voice demanding to see me.
Miss me much?
'She's here sleeping. You could carry her back to your tent. I bet she's exhausted.' Drac said i hear thier footsteps come closer.
Now to bring up my best act.
As i lay peacefully on the bed i felt Heph hand wrapping around my neck and waist carefully like he is afraid to wake me.
"Goodnight." I heard Heph say before walking out with me in his hands.
As he walks with me in his arms i could feel how he carries me with care. He is carrying me like I'm a delicate baby for goodness sake.
Thankfully after a minute or less i felt a soft mattress hitting my back.
"Sleep tight Margaux. I promise to not screw up this time. I've already been given the chance that I've ever hoped for. I'll make the most out of it.. you'll be mine Athena Margaux, and not Alexander could stop that. I made a terrible decision once and I'm not doing it again. I promise that i would do my best to make you happy.. i love you.."
