Zion held the smaller boy in his arms tightly, holding him close. Adrian fell asleep before they could go back, and so Zion decided to take him to the palace instead.
Opening the door to the guest room Adrian slept earlier, he walked towards the bed. Laying him down, he saw the peaceful face of the sleeping boy. Deciding on stopping here, he starting switching the lights off.
Closing the door, he decided it would be better to sleep. And so, he continued his way towards his own room. His mind fogged up with Aldrich's confession and the kiss he shared with Adrian.
Why do I feel bad for Aldrich...

Shaking his head, he crashed on his bed.

Aldrich was ready early in the morning. He had his jet ready and he decided it would be best to go quick as his father's calls worsened. Apparently, the thing he wanted to say was important and meant to say in person.
Ascending the plane, he turned around to wave at his friends, looking at Adrian among them too. Despite his internal battles, he winked at the boy an continued his journey in, leaving a hot mess behind.

There were a lot of questions he did not want to worry himself with.

And so, he headed towards his kingdom.
And neither of the three knew about, or were ready for the change and drama that was about to hit them, and completely change their lives.

"Good morning, Your Highness. I hope you had a good trip." Ella smiled. She worked in the palace, and was very close with the royals.
"It was quite tiring, to be honest." Aldrich chuckled.
"Tell Dad I will meet him during lunch. I will rest for a bit."
And with that, he was off. His flight was very tiring. It was not easy to be up above for so long in the air, even if he owned the jet.
Rushing to his bedroom, he quickly freshened up, wanting to do nothing more than crash into his bed.
Somewhere across the hallway, someone grinned.
They tried to hold the throne for this faggot.... Now let's see what he'll do..

"Dad, you seem fat. What happened?!" Aldrich asked, plopping down on the chair and popping a strawberry in his mouth.
"Well, hello to you too, my precious son. I'm doing well.." the former King replied with a small smile and a shake of his head.
"How was the ball?... The pictures looked great. I couldn't expect less from my Zion." Robert said. He loved the boy, and knew how responsible he was.
"It was amazing. I had a great time.." he said, growing a bit quiet when he heard his crush's name, the kiss replaying in his mind.
"I heard you made a friend." Robert said.
"Yeah... Adrian's a pretty good guy... Wait.... How did you know about him?!.." Aldrich asked.
His father just looked back at him, knowing what he has to say will change everything for his son.
"A lot has happened, son. We'll have a long talk." He replied, and dismissed the topic, wanting to talk about it in the office. Aldrich just shrugged, a bit alarmed.

The father-son duo entered the king's office, locking the door behind. They settled down with a cup of coffee, knowing it will be a long discussion. Gulping a huge amount, Aldrich sighed.
"Come on now, dad. Spill. I know you like drama and gossip. Its a wonder you've been able to stay quiet for so long..." He said. And it was true. Robert loved spilling tea.
"The world has never had any ruler that belonged to the LGBTQ+ community before. And even if things have changed and are not as they were before, there are a lot of issues that are to be tackled if you are from the community." Robert paused, looking at his son who just stared back at him blankly. He nodded, motioning his father to continue.
"Its been years since you have came out of the closet to us, and we are glad and accepting. But even we knew this would have become an issue now..." He said. Sighing, he continued.
"You know how the elders can be... And, they saw a few pictures, which is making them doubt your sexuality as you have never revealed it in front of them."
Pictures?? What pictures?
Before he can say anything, Robert slid an envelope towards the King.
Opening it, he found a few photographs of his from the trip. There were a lot of them, revolving around Aldrich and..... Adrian?
Various pictures were from the ball of him looking at Adrian, the next few being from the first time he met the guy in person. As he proceeded, he saw how it was as if every moment he spent with the younger boy was captured.
He frowned as he looked at them.
Who even took these? These may have been taken from the CCTV footages..
He saw the pictures, reaching the last one to find it from the photoshoot they did. Adrian was hiding his red face, Jae Hyun and Reyna laughing. On the other hand, Zion and Aldrich just looked at the boy with a small smile adorning their faces.
He looks cute...

He shook his head, trying to clear his head and focus.
"The elders showed me these pictures, and they weren't happy. I'm a hundred percent sure they'll make a big deal out of this." Robert said.
"How did they get this? This is invading my privacy!" He furrowed his eyebrows.
"We are looking upon it. It is a threat for us, and can be a harm to the kingdom." Robert said. Aldrich nodded, eyes far off in thought.
"He's Adrian, isn't he?.. he's very cute. I approve." Robert smiled.
"Yes, he is, dad. And I'm glad to know you are so interested in my love life." Aldrich said. Clearing his throat, he focused on what was more important.
"So, basically, the elders know I'm gay, and they are not happy about it. You know if things reach the media's claws it won't be taken as a good thing to go against the elders. I won't ever be able to marry the guy I love, dad!" Adrian exclaimed.
"I've thought about a way, and I know you will make the right decision. Not only for yourself, but also for the whole kingdom and it's reputation." Robert said, turning even more serious, if it was even possible.
"What is it..?" Aldrich asked.
"Zion is bisexual, right?" Robert asked.
Aldrich was confused.
"Yes but wh-
Wait, dad... No I can't-"
"You'll have to marry Zion."
