Chapter 58 Furious

When Cedric heard the beeping sound on the phone, he eventually… smashed the phone in anger!

He had compromised to such an extent!

He initially wanted to talk to her about returning to Scarlet Villa.

After all, she was the young mistress of the Johnson family and his wife. Scarlet Villa was her home.

If Natalie weren’t willing to give up her eyes, he wouldn’t pursue the issue further.

He swept the vase on the table to the ground. But even with doing this to vent his anger, he found no

solace deep within.

His nerves were still on edge, and he was far from relaxed. Nothing he did made him feel better!

Compared to Cedric’s anger and frustration, Natale was relaxed and calm.

However, she didn’t have Karina drive her back to Elegance Bay. She called Bianca and made plans to

meet at the Enchanted Melody for some drinks.

Although she was still feeling somewhat bitter about today’s events, she knew it was her first significant

win against Cedric in her two lives.

How could she not celebrate properly?

“Let’s all take a break today. I’ll take everyone out to celebrate tomorrow night,” Natalie told Karina.

Karina agreed and said, “That would be nice. Everyone has worked hard these past few days.”

Natalie nodded and said, “It’s very good! The sweetness is just right, and it’s not too overpowering.”

She wasn’t particularly fond of sweets, but the breakfast the chef had prepared this morning was

delicious.

It was even better than what she could have made!

“Shall we prepare this as your dessert after meals from now on?” the butler suggested.

Natalie politely replied, “Okay, thank you.”

The butler nodded in response.

Breakfast consisted of a variety of flavors. It seemed that the staff here didn’t know her taste

preferences, so they prepared a variety of dishes with small portions of each.

The butler took note of everything she liked and didn’t like in order to get an idea of her taste

preferences.

After breakdest, Karina arrived. When she saw Natalie was dressed in a custom–made professional

outfit and ready to leave, she hesitated.

Karina replied, “The matter of you going to Isabella’s hospital room has been exposed.”

Upon hearing this, Natalie was briefly stunned.

She already had a good idea of how people would depict her actions.

“Has Uncle found out as well?” Natalie asked.

“Yes.”

“What did he say?”

“He said he wanted to hear your opinion first…”

Stephen had always respected Natalie’s decisions in this matter.

Of course, this respect was also a way of encouraging her to become stronger.
