Chapter 69

Noah’s POV It was the thick of the night and my sinister plan had begun taking shape, I had just broken into the pack territory and was about to make my move, Gabriel, one of the men who accompanied me nodded to me and I nodded back.

The syringe that contained the poison was still firm in my grasp, Jasmine was going to pay for being the little b***h that she was.

We heard footsteps approaching and quickly tried to hide, but the scent of the person stopped us, it was my mother.

“Noah, you should give this a thought, what you’re about to do is suicidal. You’re being irrational.” She warned.

However, my mind was made up, Jasmine, her miserable mates, and their families would die soon.

I promised her I wouldn’t endanger myself, she must have left hoping that I would listen to her cowardly advice.

I turned to Gabriel, signaling to him it was time for us to move.

As we arrived at the party, the crowd was thick, people from all over the pack were present, so it was easy to blend in and mix with the crowd.

Everyone probably knew who I was but were too busy drinking or dancing to even notice me, a guy even offered me a drink and said “Don’t be boring” The plan was going easier than I thought.

The plan was to inject Jasmine with the poison and keep the antidote as a means to get what I wanted from the triplets thereby still inflicting pain on Jasmine, it was the perfect plan of revenge and it brought so much joy to my heart.

They all need to pay for what they did to my father.

After injecting her, I would leave a note asking the quadruplets’s fathers to come to a secret location to get the antidote, by then Chase’s men will be on their way to the silver moon pack to attack and put an end to their miserable lives.

I couldn’t wait to wipe out every one of them. Nothing fueled me like the anticipation of their deaths.

I scanned the crowd for Jasmine, and immediately my eyes found her, I wasted no time in going to meet her before she realized it was already too late, my grip on her neck was firm, and she only struggled in vain.

Her screams brought the attention of her mates to us, but there was nothing they could do, I threatened to kill her if they tried anything stupid, and for once they listened.

Jasmine was stronger than I had expected, she exhibited more strength than the last time I saw her. f*****g the triplets had its perks I guess.

After I lost Jasmine at the River I had to come up with another plan to get her so I thought about using a different means to lure her out.

While I racked my brain for ideas, Gabriel came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder, I turned to look in the direction of the person calling me, and Gabriel nudged his head sidewards, gesturing that I look in that direction and I saw a menacing figure of my mother, arms clutches around her chest looking at me.

As I approached her she was so pissed at me that the veins on her head started to show.

“What are you still doing here Noah,” she said grunting sounds cause her teeth were joined together “Follow me” she added as she dragged me along with her “And you Gabriel, make yourself invisible” she called back at Gabriel.

We got into a storage room and she closed the door “Are you trying to get yourself killed” She turned to face me “But mother” she cut me dead in my tracks “But nothing, I made you come here and carry out your revenge, but that was when you were not known, now your cover is blown, you shouldn’t be here, I warned you, it’s suicide” her voice became calmer now.

“I know Mother I know, the thing is if I don’t do it who will, I have to find a way, I must pay them back for what they did to my father,” I said as I turned away from her “No one was angrier than me when your Father died, I would have run this place over just to say I did it, but as time went by I began to make peace with it, and also realized that he had it coming sooner or later, so please drop this foolishness and go home”. She walked up to me and placed her hands on my cheek.

Her words felt like spikes in my sides, “Are you for real now, Mother? Are you seriously considering I forgive them or what they did to Father? No, Mother no, they must pay” I roared as I stormed around the room “I am not asking you that, all I am saying is don’t get yourself killed because of rash decisions, give yourself time and maybe you will see from my point of view or maybe you might get the revenge you so dream of,” she said.

Her words made sense to me or at least it started a process until I heard a bang on the door, it was Gabriel and he spoke from outside.

“What’s the delay? We need to move along if this plan is going to work”

I turned to my mother and said “Don’t worry we have a well-structured plan and this time it will work, this is not being hasty this is for Father and his legacy” I said that before I opened the door of the room and walked out in a hurry, leaving her in a panic state. I could see the look of disappointment on her face as we headed back to the hall, carefully disguising ourselves.

Now mixed with the crowd again I tried to pick out who was who and realized that the Triplets were back and so was Jasmine, but they watched her like a hawk.

Suddenly I saw Mia dancing around the bar all by herself and an Idea struck me.

I walked up to Mia, tapped her shoulder, and immediately she turned I said “Hello Mia” before knocking her out and lifting her out of the hall.

Gabriel made a girl among the crowd inform Jasmine and the Triplets about what just happened but made sure she told Jasmine first.

As I moved with Mia on my shoulder away from the party I heard a sharp growl and in a split second, I was off my feet and crashing through the air as I let Mia fly with me and we both fell to the ground.

“Hello Jasmine,” I said as she kicked me again as I was trying to get up, which sent me right back into the ground.

I knew her mates were close by, they followed her everywhere she went, I needed to be swift with my next action.

As she went to check up on Mia who was still knocked out, I went at her and hit her from behind as she fell I mounted her.

I quickly took out the syringe filled with the poison and emptied its contents into her arm, took out a piece of paper, and put it in her dress just as I had planned.

As the effects began kicking in, she stopped being violent, she began feeling dazed and dizzy.

I heard the three brothers coming so I stood up and attempted to run, before they arrived, and saw both Mia and Jasmine out cold on the ground and I standing over them.

Seeing the look of surprise they all had on their faces, I smiled and blurted an“I did that, my bad” before I broke through the window and ran.

This infuriated them so badly, that I could see the anger in their eyes, the rage they felt as their foreheads creased. Ethan stayed behind while Calix and Zane ran after me.

I had spent a lot of time on this land, so I knew my way.

I was able to glide and run away which was easier than I thought, the brothers chased but I knew how to move and I spent nights training in this place where I knew every turn before they did, I was beating the brothers on their turf.

Soon I met with Gabriel at the border, I had lost the the three brothers.

“Did you do it?” he asked “Yes indeed” I replied.

He beamed with joy as we ran out into the dark together.

Once inside the tunnel, I decided to ask him a question that had been lingering on my mind. “Any word from Chase yet?” I questioned.

“None, it’s almost like he’s unreachable,” Gabriel replied, his voice laced with doubt.

“Well, maybe he was busy putting our next plan in place,” I said, hoping it to be true.
