JADE

“Argh! Argh! Argh!” I screamed in anger. I have been screaming all night long in anger and it was all thanks to that ba stard. Isabel and the man I once loved.

They might have won tonight but not for long. I was almost close. I almost got them. I had them and all of a sudden everything got ruined.

I clenched my fist in anger. Everything was going well until the last minute and I had lost it all.

1 shouted again, running my finger through my hair in anger.

“Can you stop shouting already? What’s done is done and there won’t be any changes.” My father chidded.

Hearing him speak this way only made me angry because he’s the cause of what’s happening to me. If only he hadn’t let himself get caught twice then Logan wouldn’t have anything to use against me and if it wasn’t because I considered him then he’d be dead.

I blame hit so much. Logan would have lost a lot even if I had lost my life in the process, at least I wouldn’t have lost it in vain but that’s not how it went because of my dad.

“You disappointed me then. How could you have wanted to end it all like that? Are you for real? After all that we have done through you’d rather we die than to see the enemy die? Are you for real?”

“Am I for real? Oh, trust me when I say that I’d do whatever it takes to make sure that I win and you just don’t get it do you? We are like this because of you! We lost because of you and if it wasn’t because of you I would have won!” I shouted.

“Don’t raise your voice on me, young woman! How dare you! After all, I’ve done for you, this is who you repay me? Did you want me dead? After all Jade? You didn’t flinch and wanted me gone all because of your own needs? Was that how I thought you?” He scoffed and I scoffed back in return.

“You don’t get to act like a victim okay? Don’t you dare act like a victim! Don’t you dare!” I retorted.

“If only you protected yourself well enough then we won’t be here or are we? I am so p iss ed and angry at how close I was yet it got ruined because of you”

I had won the battle. I was there. I won. He called and threatened me because of you. He wouldn’t have but you keep letting yourself get caught by him and it’s so frustrating. If only you know how hard I try not to be angry but I can’t help it. Why! Why! Just why do you keep doing this all the time? He caught you the first time and you let him catch you again and again. I’m sick and tired of it.” I spat out in anger and I didn’t fail to notice how pained he was from his facial expression but I couldn’t care about that.

“You are nothing but a spoilt brat. After all I did for you this is how you repay me? Really? Are you that much of an ingrate? How could you! Just how could you!” He screamed in anger.

“I don’t care what you think but you failed me as a father. I never wanted to leave Logan but because of you, I had to leave him. Each time I was close to getting what I wanted, you managed to show and ruin it all and that’s why I’m divorced to him and it’s also why I’m here now! Because of you!”

He opened his mouth to say something but kept it shut.

“Exactly that’s what you should do. You shouting speak at all. You don’t deserve to not speak. Why! Because you know you are the days of every time we lose. I have lost constantly because of you and it’s suffocating. If only you know how pis sed I

“You claim to be powerful yet you let yourself get caught twice! You claim to be powerful and always spoke big here we have been losing back-to-back against them. Aren’t you tired?”

I groaned in anger, pulling my hair in pain.

“You know what Jade? You are the cause of our book’s downfall and not me so don’t you dare put this one on me. All I’ve ever done was want to make you happy as a daughter and this is what I get in return, isn’t it?”

“You wanted to marry Logan by any means I made that happen You wanted Isabel and her dad gone, I did that. You wanted anything I got that for you without having to think of the consequences or if it was wrong or not yet this is what you have to say to me?”

“All I have ever done for you was make you happy without thinking about it. I would react exactly how you wanted me to and do anything for you and just once or twice you saved my life, you blame me for all your loss forgetting all of the time I was the best to you.”

He shook his head. “Indeed they said when you spoil a child, it gets to a point where they feel you are not doing enough, and truly today shows that. I’m the cause of all the problems in your life after all I’ve done for you? That’s fine. I’m the bad one. I’m yet to be good and to avoid your life getting jinxed, I will leave you alone okay?”

He was angry and this was the first I’d seen him that way instead of me feeling remorse, I didn’t feel any at all because all he had just said is bul ls hit to me and doesn’t make sense and he is the cause of my problem.

1 wanted him out of my sight and just as I wanted, he walked out of the house leaving me in anger and I screamed out in pain.
