Chapter 745 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
âIâm just stating the truth. Itâs always better to be careful,â Dustin replied calmly. âDustin, Mr. Killian isnât that kind of person,â Dahlia retorted firmly, unhappy to hear Dustin talking bad about her savior.
âDo you really know him well enough? Besides his name, what else do you know about him?â Dustin asked back.
âI-â Dahlia was taken aback. When she came to her senses, she immediately declared. âAnyway, Mr. Killian isnât a bad person. You better not judge him with a petty mindset!â
âPetty?â Dustin chuckled un humorously. âYouâre right. I am petty. And since you seem to believe him so much, this petty man will take his leave now. Goodbye.â Dustin turned around.
âDustin, stop right-â He left before Dahlia could stop him. âLet him leave! What the he ll is wrong with him? We just said a few words!â Florence scoffed.
âYeah. Mr. Killian is a thousand times better than a petty man like him!â Julie snorted.
âThatâs enough! Heâs gone now, so stop talking about this!â Dahlia frowned, agitated.
Her relationship with Dustin had only begun to improve, and she didnât want problems to arise
again.
Out of the hospital doors, Dustin sighed.
Although he didnât care about Florence and Julieâs words, he was unhappy about Dahliaâs distrust
of him.
âDustin Rhysâ¦â A black sedan pulled over, and the windows were lowered, revealing Gavinâs face.
âMr. Killian, how may I help you?â Dustin replied.
Gavin had obviously been waiting for him.
âI will only say this once, so you better listen closely.â Gavinâs expression was cold as he said, â Dahlia Nicholson is mine, so you better stay away from her from now on.â
âAnd why should I?â Dustin narrowed his eyes. He didnât expect Gavin to show his true colors so
soon.
âBecause Iâm from the Killian family of Oakvale and a major general. And because Iâm stronger
than you. Is this answer good enough?â Gavin sneered arr ogantly.
âThose labels mean nothing to me. Hereâs some advice. Donât pi ss me off,â Dustin retorted, unfazed.
âHmm⦠Interesting.â Gavin grinned.
âA loser dares to challenge me? Fine. Letâs see what youâve got.â With a snap of his fingers, his car
d rove off and out of sight.
Right after that, several other cars pulled over in front of Dustin, and several law enforcers wearing distinctive uniforms stepped out, their faces stern.
âAre you Dustin Rhys?â The leader asked.
âI am.â Dustin nodded. âHow may I help you?â
âSomeone reported you for ki lling Hank Hoffman, so youâre under arrest!â The man yelled.
âSomeone reported me? Who?â Dustin was shocked.
âMe!â Another person stepped out of the car. It was Julian!
âI witnessed you murdering my friend, so I reported you!â Julian cried out.
âSo youâre up to no good again.â Dustin narrowed his eyes.
âYou kil led an innocent man, and plenty of evidence proves that. Take him away!â, The leading enforcer signaled his men to handcuff Dustin and haul him into the car.
Julian watched the cars drive away, sneering, âYouâre dead meat this time!â
