#Maxim retreated to a relatively distant position, preparing to throw his most

deadly punch. Dusky was surrounded by marks now, and all it would take was just one more punch for Maxim to converge his attacks on Dusky.

Maxim was confident that even a god would fall to this finale. Moreover, this final punch would be one he poured all his strength into. It would be accompanied by the anti-magic stone's sealing power.

Maxim took a deep breath. The back of his hand began to glow, and the anti- magic stone within his palm started channeling sealing power. Then, Maxim's fist turned golden, from his fingers to his arm. The veins in his body also began to emit golden light as immense power filled him.

Dusky saw this and merely smiled. "Finally, a decent attack."

"You'll soon understand the consequences of crossing me, god!" Maxim shouted as the power of the anti-magic stone continued to flood his body. In just a few seconds, most of Maxim's body was covered in golden patterns.

He was ready.

As soon as his right eye was also covered in golden light, he launched his attack.

In less than a second, Maxim rushed toward Dusky with a speed completely invisible to the naked eye. He left only a trail of golden light and sonic booms in his wake.

Like a flash of lightning, Maxim's attack reached Dusky.

At the same time, golden light filled the space around Dusky. Maxim activated the power of his punches that surrounded Dusky, and the exaggerated force of the blows struck his true energy shield.

"So, that's how it is, Maxim," Dusky remarked, still calm as he watched it all happen.

He already had an understanding of Maxim's ability and the secret behind the anti-magic stone. Yet, he was now suspended in the sky and fixed in place by Maxim's power. The moment his true energy broke would be Maxim's victory.

A sizzling sound began to grow as Dusky's once-impenetrable defense crept on the verge of shattering. His protective true energy shield was indeed showing signs of cracking.
