Chapter 2510

My Substitute CEO Bride

"W-What do you mean?" Teresa asked.

With a resolute expression, Thresmund responded, "I'm not being controlled. I'm no longer the Thresmund you all know from this moment on."

"What... How is that possible?" Kalos was stunned. The two had always been like brothers, carefree and close. Hearing such words from him now, Kalos was at a breaking point.

"Thres, what are you saying?"

"Didn't you hear me? I said, from now on, we're no longer friends. I'm letting you off just because of old times. Now, get lost!"

The four stood in utter shock.

Chevy, normally calm and collected, studied Thresmund closely. "H-How could this be?" He, too, was dumbfounded. The true energy emanating from Thresmund was familiar to everyone. It was unmistakably Thresmund's.

However, there was something strange about it. Something new and foreign was intertwining with his energy.

"There's nothing impossible about it," Thresmund declared as he soared into the sky, looking down on the group from above. "I have now acquired the ultimate power. At the same time, my body is undergoing a rebirth. I'm just one step away from becoming the ultimate darkness!

Thresmund said again, his tone heavy and laced with disdain, "For the last time, I don't want you mere mortals to stand in my way. I now possess the greatest power. Get out of my sight!"

Just then, the Flying Snow Sword shot toward Thresmund.

Thresmund remained utterly indifferent. With a casual wave of his hand, he knocked the Flying Snow Sword aside. Marino, who had just arrived, quickly summoned the sword back into the air.

"So, what's going on now?" she demanded.

"Mar!" Teresa shouted, noticing the remnants of Thresmund's true energy still lingering on the sword.

Before anyone could react, the sword suddenly turned and hurtled uncontrollably toward the four on the ground.

The group hastily activated their true energy, putting up shields. However, Enid's true energy was too weak to offer any meaningful protection and instantly shattered. As the blade sped toward Enid, Marino leaped in and grabbed the sword with her bare hands. Blood instantly dripped from her palms.

"Mari!" Enid cried out, worried.

"I'm fine, don't worry," Marino reassured her. She smeared her blood on the Flying Snow Sword, and in an instant, the blade calmed and ceased its aggression. "That was close..."

Thresmund watched the scene unfold with disdain. "Using your own blood to override my control? Interesting... But that's all it is."

With those words, he descended to the ground, standing right beside the group.

"I've already told you, you stand no chance of winning. I might as well explain. My body now contains all the power ever used on this land over the past century-the Genii abilities, the Hansel family's sword techniques, the Skyearth Clan's techniques, the Mossery Duet Technique, and even the Hundred Horses. I can wield them all.

"You're no match for me. This is the last time I'll say it-step aside and I'll let you off out of respect for our years of friendship. From this moment forward, we're no longer friends."

Everyone stared at Thresmund in silence, the weight of his words settling heavily on them. Despite their shock and sorrow, there was an undeniable truth-they failed to save Thresmund in time, causing him to fall into this state.

Now, he had even the celestial powers they possessed, leaving them with no way to fight back. Was this truly the end for them?

At that moment, Teresa suddenly activated the Hundred Horses.

Everyone was stunned and stared at her in disbelief.

"No, Teresa!" Kalos shouted. "You'll die if you use that!"

Chevy quickly tried to intervene. "He's right! Let Thres go for now, and we'll figure something out later..."
