She could have discussed the matter with Sunny over the phone, but she did not want to risk it since

she learned from the mole she planted in the Riveras’ mansion that Corinne was able to incriminate

Anya by using a voice recording.

‘That little b*tch is more devious than she looks! I’m not going to give her a chance to incriminate me or

Sunny by leaving a voice recording. Anya’s life is already ruined, so I must protect Sunny at all costs!’
