Chapter 1530
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Chapter 1530
Corinne narrowed her eyes. âSo sheâs not good to your Daddy?â âShe acts like sheâs very loving to him.
But if my Daddy wants to go out for a walk or change his doctor to fix his legs, sheâd always find all
sorts of excuses to turn him down,â replied Benjamin honestly.
Corinne looked directly into his eyes. âSo you donât think sheâs your Mommy?â
Benjamin nodded sadly. âDaddy doesnât remember anything from the past. That woman says to him
that sheâs his wife and that Iâm their kid, but I donât like her at all for some reason. I donât want to call
her Mommy either!â
Corinne stroked his head. âYouâre right. Sheâs not your Mommy, so you donât have to call her that,
okay?â
Benjamin immediately looked up at her suspiciously. âAunt Corinne, how do you know she isnât my
Mommy?â
Corinne looked at him with fire in her eyes. âBecause Iâm your real Mommy.â
Benjamin was first stunned, but then his eyes lit up happily. âReally? Are you really my Mommy?â
Corinne nodded resolutely. âI wouldnât have mistaken you for my son otherwise. Itâs because you two
look so much alike that I thought you were him.â
The news was undeniably a good one for Benjamin, but there was something he could not understand.
âThen why donât I get to stay with you?â he asked.
Corinne pulled him into a tight hug. She then explained gently, âBecause three years ago, you were
forcibly taken away from me.â
Benjamin believed her because he could feel a sense of familiarity with Corinne.
âDoes that mean I can stay with you now?â he asked.
âYes. Iâll never let anyone take you away again. Well stay with each other forever from now on,â she
answered resolutely.
Benjamin was incredibly happy, but his face suddenly fell at the thought of Jeremy. âBut what about
Daddy? And Mommyâs other kid?â
That was the crux of the matter. She narrowed her eyes and thought for a moment when she heard
footsteps approaching them.
Alarmed, she quickly covered Benjamin with her arms and turned to look at the direction the footsteps
were coming from.
âWhoâs there?â
No answer came, but the footsteps did not stop either until Jason suddenly appeared from behind a
tree.
He smiled at her and said, âHey Corinne, itâs me.â
Corinneâs relief only lasted for a second before she frowned again. âWhat are you doing here, Mister
Jason? Did you pick up a new hobby of scaring people in the park?â
Jason pretended to feel hurt by her words, but his eyes still twinkled with laughter. âHow can you say
that, Corinne? I was worried you wouldnât be able to get a taxi, so I came all the way here to offer you a
ride.â
Corinne frowned with annoyance. âHow did you know Iâd be here? Are you stalking me?â
Jason quickly waved his hands. âOf course not! Iâd never dare to do that. Itâs not like you have a good
impression of me in the first place, so stalking you will just make you hate me more.â
Corinne looked at him judgmentally. âThen how do you explain how you knew Iâd be here? Not to
mention, you knew I was looking for a taxi.â
Jason shrugged helplessly. âItâs because David is a friend of mine. I happened to be at his place when
you were too, but I was sunbathing on the balcony. After that, I went to find him and found out you
brought your son there to see him. Then I bumped into Annie, and she said you didnât take your car
here, so I came out to find you.â
