Chapter 1538
The Day I Kissed An Older Man
Xante was, of course, upset by the condescending tone Sunny adopted toward her.
At that moment, her secretary was still standing anxiously by the door for failing to stop Sunny from
barging in.
Xante gazed at Sunny for a while before turning to and waving her hand at her secretary, signaling her
to leave.
Her secretary sighed with relief, quickly got out of the room, and closed the door.
There were only Xante and Sunny left in the room, so she decided not to hold back anymore.
âIf Iâm not worthy enough for you to be polite toward me, why did you come to see me?â she questioned
with a scoff. 1 Sunny smiled. âYouâre mistaken, Miss Xante. I was only joking! Isnât that what you used
to do to me in the past, too? Donât tell me youâre the one who canât take a joke now. Whatâs the matter?
Are you really mad?â
Xante looked at him expressionlessly. âNo. So what brings you here? And no more bullsh*t, okay?â
Sunny was in no hurry. He leaned back in his chair like a boss and looked around the office. âThis place
hasnât changed at all; he thought.
He remembered how he used to go there every day three years ago, only to get the cold shoulder from
Xante. He also remembered when Xanteâs exboyfriend came out of the bathroom half-naked.
Seeing Sunny not saying anything, Xante knocked on the table impatiently.â
Mister Sunny, you can see yourself out if youâre not going to say anything.â
It was obvious she was kicking him out.
Sunny turned his attention back to her. He looked her up and down like a hungry wolf, but they both
knew he had no serious intention at all.
âIâve come to reminisce about old times. So are you free?â asked Sunny.
Xante knew very well what he meant when he said that. She calmly pushed up her gold-rimmed
glasses and said, âSorry, but I do have something I need to do.â
A hint of ridicule flashed across Sunnyâs eyes. âAre you that busy? Anyway, itâs lunch break right now.
We can go to a hotel nearby. Even though one hour isnât enough time, itâs still better than nothing.â
Xante smiled. âIâm not busy.â
Sunny naturally assumed she was willing to spend more time âreminiscing about old timesâ with him, so
he smiled and said, âThatâs even better. Iâm not busy either. We can do it all day long if youâre up to it.â
Xante drummed her fingers playfully on the table. âSorry, Iâm not busy, but Iâve already made plans with
someone else, so I canât âreminisce about old timesâ with you. How about we do it another day?â
Her tone was flirtatious and mockingly polite at the same time. It was infuriating, to say the least.
Sunnyâs face darkened. âIs that so? Who did you make plans with?â âThat has nothing to do with you,
Mister Sunny. Thereâs no point in you asking me so many questions. If you can keep this casual, that
is.â
Sunnyâs face froze, but he then scoffed. âOf course I can keep this casual.
What I meant was, I havenât had a threesome before, so if the person youâve made plans with is a
woman, thenâ¦â
Xante immediately frowned. She almost picked up the cold coffee on her table and threw it at his face.
âMister Sunny, I see you have a high tolerance for this sort of thing.
Unfortunately, I have no interest in a threesome.â
Sunny crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at her. âOh? I thought you were very open-minded
about this kind of thing. So you do have a line you wonât cross.â
