Chapter 451
Between Ruin And Resolve: My Ex-Husband’s Regret
Chapter 451:
âSadie, I know you hate me, butââ
âI said, stop talking!â Sadieâs breath grew heavy with rage. âI donât want to waste any more of my time on you. Please leave. You are not welcome here.â
âWhatâs wrong, Mommy?â Having heard the commotion, Averi ran over from the living room. He looked up at the adults, his cute little face filled with concern.
âItâs nothing, sweetheart.â Sadieâs voice softened as she mustered a strained smile. âMommy was just talking to Mr. Wall.â
âOkay,â Averi said slowly, bobbing his head, though he barely understood what was going on.
Noah could only swallow the lump of emotion lodged in his throat.
Noah knew there was no point in arguing further.
âFine. Iâm leaving.â His eyes lingered on Sadie, filled with unspoken emotion. âBut remember thisâI wonât give up on you.â
With that, he turned on his heel and walked out.
Sadie stood frozen, watching his silhouette disappear. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she could no longer hold them back. They spilled down her cheeks in streams.
She sank to the floor, clutching Averi tightly as sobs racked her body.
âMommy, whatâs wrong?â Averiâs small hands patted her back hesitantly. âPlease donât cryâ¦â
âIâm okay, sweetheartâ¦â Sadie forced a weak smile, trying to steady her voice. But the tears kept falling.
Just then, chaos erupted outside.
âSadie Hudson, get out here!â
âYou home-wrecking witch! You stole my man, and Iâll make sure you regret it!â The night was shattered by angry voices and cruel accusations.

Sadie wiped her face, her expression hardening. She recognized the voice. It was Kyla, cursing.
âStay here, baby,â she murmured to Averi before rising to her feet and striding toward the door.
Downstairs, Kyla stood with a small crowd, hostility radiating from them.
Sadieâs eyes narrowed. âWhat do you want, Kyla?â
Kyla scoffed, folding her arms. âWhat do I want? You really have the nerve to ask that? You shameless snake. How dare you seduce Noah? You need to be taught a lesson.â
Sadie let out a bitter laugh. âSeduce him? Have you lost your mind? Whatever was between Noah and me ended ages ago. Stop making up stories.â
âEnded?â Kylaâs expression twisted with fury.
âDo you think Iâd believe that? You canât stand to see me happy. You want to take everything from me!â
Sadieâs jaw tightened. âTake from you? Kyla, donât play the victim. You were the one who took everything from me. You even nearly made me lose my grandmother!â
âI did no such thing!â Kyla shot back, her voice rising. âWhatever happened, you brought it on yourself!â
Sadie exhaled sharply. âYou know the truth. You just donât want to admit it.â She stepped forward, her tone unwavering. âThis is my last warning, Kyla. Leave now, or deal with the consequences.â
Kyla let out a mocking laugh. âOh? And what exactly are you going to do? Do you think Iâm scared of you? Today, Iâll show you what happens when you cross me.â
With that, her eyes flicked to the group behind her. âTeach her a lesson!â At her command, the crowd surged toward Sadie.
But before they could reach her, a tall figure stepped in front of her, shielding her completely.
