Chapter 151
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
Theodoreâs gaze fell in Sebastian and Rosalieâs direction. The moment he saw them, he turned
away toward Cynthia across the table, and began chatting and laughing with her.
Rosalie felt like Theodore was doing it on purpose.
Why, of all the restaurants, did he have to go to this one? After what happened today, she couldnât
even find peace in having dinner.
Rosalie picked up the glass on the table angrily, and took a gulp of juice. She drank too fast, and
accidentally spilled some on herself. The red liquid stained a small part of her white shirt.
Sebastian quickly pulled out a tissue for her. She took it, and wiped the liquid off herself.
âSorry, I need to go to the restroom. Letâs leave after I come out. I donât want to stay here
anymore.â
âOkay.â Sebastian nodded.
Rosalie took a few more bites, nearly finishing the food on her plate. She wiped her mouth with a
napkin, then got up to head towards the
restroom.
Rosalie splashed some water on her face. She wasnât wearing
makeup, and didnât care much. After washing her face, she felt a lot more awake.
She looked at herself in the mirror, and told herself âD
being sad over Theodore Cat
Just then, the restroom door opened, and a woman stood beside Rosalie. She took powder out of
her bag to touch up her makeup.
Rosalie wiped the water off her face, not bothering to look up. She was about to leave, when the
woman beside her suddenly stopped
her.
âWait a minute.â
Hearing the voice, Rosalie turned her head and saw Cynthia. She frowned, but ignored the latter
and intended to keep walking.
However, Cynthia blocked the doorway.
âWhere are you rushing off to? Iâm not going to eat you.â
Rosalie gave a cold smile. âYouâre a delicate sort, Ms. Zeller. What if you accidentally fall and blame
it on me?â
Cynthia retorted, âLook at how suspicious you are! You really think everyoneâs out to get you, huh?â
Rosalie smiled faintly. âPlease move aside. I have nothing to say to
you.â
âRose, I just wanted to ask you about the resident register,â Cynthia asked with a big, fake smile.
âOh, the resident register,â Rosalie replied calmly. âIâve sent it back to Grandma. Iâm sorry, but Theo
and I canât get it for now.â
Though Rosalie really wanted a divorce, she couldnât let Cynthia feel smug.
Sure enough, Cynthiaâs face darkened a bit. âIs it fun for you to drag this out? I think youâre doing it
on purpose.â
âMe, on purpose?â Rosalie chuckled, âMs. Zeller, please ask Theodore if I wasnât planning to
divorce him this afternoon. I was waiting for
him at the clerkâs office, but heâ¦â
Cynthia frowned. âWhat happened to him?â
âWell, didnât Theodore tell you?â Rosalie looked Cynthia up and down. Iâm starting to wonder where
you stand in his heart, and why he
doesnât tell you important things.â
âWhat dirty tricks did you use?! You couldnât even divorce him! Explain yourself clearly to me!â
Rosalie couldnât be bothered to say more to Cynthia. âIf you want to know, go ask Theodore.â

Yet, âWhy canât you face reality? Do you know how much Theo wants to marry me? You keep
getting in our way! If you care about him, you should divorce him and let him be happy!â
âIâm sorry, I donât care about him anymore. Do you have anything else to say?â Rosalie said
sarcastically.
