Chapter 278
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
âThatâs the point!â Yvonne tugged at his sleeve like a spoiled child. â Seb, weâre in the same boat
now. If Dad finds out, Iâll say youâre an
accomplice too.â
Sebastian frowned. âIâm helping you, but youâre still threatening me. You donât have a conscience at
all.â
âI just want to be on the same side as you.â She hugged him, and rested her head on his shoulder.
âBut donât worry! Since weâre in this together now, whatever happens in the future, Iâll help you.
Whatever you need me to do, just say it. Iâll do it for you, no matter what.â
âIs that so? I do have something that I want you to help me with,â
Sebastian said.
âWhat is it? Tell me.â Yvonne blinked playfully, her eyes flickering.
Sebastian looked at her coldly. âStay away from meâthe farther, the better. And when you go out,
donât tell others that weâre siblings. Letâs just pretend we donât know each other.â
Yvonneâs face turned pale. âSeb, youâre not going to sever ties with me, are you?â
Sebastian smiled. âI desperately want to.â
âBut Seb, Iâm your dearest sister! Donât forget that weâre in the same boat,â Yvonne pleaded,
refusing to take Sebastianâs words seriously.
Even if Sebastian was serious about wanting to sever ties with her, she would stubbornly cling to
him. He was rich and useful, so she would stick to him no matter what.
Yvonne hooked her arm around his, and shook him forcefully.
Sebastian felt dizzy from the shaking. Pulling his arm away, he said, Enough. I want to sleep a little
longer. You should go. Itâs still early.â Sebastian stumbled back to bed and sat down. He was about
to lie down again when Yvonne said with a mischievous smile, âSeb, I textéd Rosalie last night and
mentioned you.â
Sebastian suddenly snapped his eyes wide and sat up from the bed.
âWhat did you say?!â He looked serious.
Yvonne put her hands behind her back and looked up slightly, as if she was a queen looking down
at her subjects. She scoffed, and said, âDidnât you tell me to go? Iâm leaving now. Goodbye!â
Yvonne turned to leave, but Sebastian grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.
He frowned, his face was cold and stern. In a domineering tone, he demanded, âTell me what did
you talk about. You didnât speak ill of me, did you? Did you slander me?â
Sebastian stared at Yvonne as if she were a criminal.
âWhoâs slandering you? Youâre the one whoâs slandering me! Iâm leaving now. Donât stop me!â She
shook off his hand forcefully.
Sebastian instantly transformed into the Flash and appeared in front of Yvonne just as she turned
around, blocking her path.
âGive me your phone.â He extended his hand.
âWhat for?â Yvonne clutched her phone in her pocket warily.
Sebastian didnât care about being a gentleman in front of his own sister. He darted forward, and
snatched her phone from her pocket.
It required her fingerprint to unlock. Without hesitation, he roughly grabbed her hand to unlock it.
âWhat are you doing? Let go of me! Help, help!â Yvonne shouted.
âStop shouting! Unlock the phone!â Sebastian demanded, his patience running out.
âHelp! Murder! Help!â Yvonne let out a series of highâpitched screams. âIâm going to tell Rosalie
about this! Youâre invading her privacy. Sheâll definitely hate you!â
Rosalie was an extremely potent weapon for Sebastian.
