Chapter 332
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
Sebastian looked at Rosalie in worry! A few seconds later, he said coldly, âNot really. Weâre just
casual friends. We donât see each other very often. Yvonne hangs out with her more.â
Yvonne never expected her brother to say that, but she knew he was trying to protect Rosalie.
Rosalie was puzzled to hear Sebastianâs words. She had a hunch he was pretending to be
unfamiliar with her on purposeâhe was doing it was
for her sake. His father didnât seem too kind.
âOh, is that so?â Geoffrey sounded somewhat sarcastic, and his sharp gaze fell on Rosalie again.
âMiss Young, my son says you two are just casual friends. Is that true?â
âYes, Dad,â Yvonne answered quickly. âShe and Seb are just normal friends. Weâre closer.â
Yvonne hurriedly linked her arm with Rosalieâs. âI called her here to hang out. I didnât think weâd find
you two here. Weâll leave immediately!
She knew her brother must be deathly anxious right now. The only thing she could do was to take
Rosalie away.
Sebastian shot Yvonne a discreet look, hinting at her to take Rosalie away as quickly as possible.
At once, Yvonne grabbed Rosalieâs hand. She was about to lead Rosalie away when the latter
shook off her hand.
âWait a minute.â
Rosalie stepped forward with her notebook.
âMr. Carter, I came here today because of Sebastian. Whether we are
casual friends or good friends, it doesnât matter. Iâm only here to solve a problem.â
Geoffrey narrowed his eyes, leveling her with an icy glare. âSolve al problem?â
âThatâs right.â Rosalie took another brave step forward. âI wonât beat. around the bush. I know why
you want to punish Sebastian. Itâs because Regent Co. took Skycrest Enterpriseâs project, and you
think. Sebastian did a bad job.â
She faced Geoffrey fearlessly, neither humble nor overbearing. This fearlessness didnât stem from
the recklessness of youth, but from courage deep inside her.
âWhat on earth are you talking about?â Sebastian spat. âWhat does it have to do with you? Leave
now! Donât get in the way!â
Rosalie turned to look at Sebastian. Not only was his voice severe, but his expression was also
fierceâhe was completely different from his usual self. For once, he was treating harshly.

Yet, she didnât feel upset. She knew he was only driving her away because he didnât want her to get
involved in this mess.
But she was his friendâand as a friend, she couldnât simply leave. She couldnât stand by and watch
Sebastian get beaten.
Just like when Rebecca beat Theodore.
Rebecca was an elderly woman, but she could still beat Theodore black and blue. What more
Geoffrey, who looked ten times stronger than her!
If Rosalie left right now, Sebastian would probably end up in the
emergency room.
âMr. Carter.â She ignored Sebastian, and looked directly at Geoffrey. Iâll only take two minutes of
your time. Will you listen to me first?â
Sebastian, fraught with worry, was about to stand up. However, Geoffrey pressed the wooden stick
firmly on his shoulder. âDid I tell you to get up?â
Rosalieâs heart was pounding. She was just as worried about
Sebastian.
What year was this? His father still acted like patriarchs from the olden days, who managed their
sons and families with an iron fist. Sebastian must have been repressed growing up. Rosalie
wondered how he and Yvonne managed to get through such a difficult life.
