Chapter 100
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
Theodore ignored her refusal and said, âWhen you called me, I was indeed in the bathroom with
Cindy.â
âStop talking, I wonât listen!â Rosalie covered her ears. âI donât want to hear what you did for her in
there!â
Theodore grabbed her hand and forcibly pulled it away from her ears. Why wonât you listen? What
do you think I did with her?â
âYou know very well what you did,â Rosalie said angrily.
Theodore suddenly chuckled. âRose, do you finally understand how it feels?â
Rosalie was puzzled. âWhat are you talking about?â
âLast night, at the hospital, you blamed me for not listening to your explanation, but now youâre also
unwilling to listen to mine.â
Rosalie froze. She was indeed unwilling to listen to his explanation, but did he need to explain
anything between him and Cynthia?
âThatâs different!â Rosalie protested.
âHow is it different? You only heard that I was with her in the bathroom, but you donât want to hear
why I was in there. Just like last night, I only heard that you splashed water on Cindy, but didnât
listen to your explanation. Rose, you canât deny that, in this situation, both of us acted irrationally,â
Theodore countered.
Now, he finally understood how Rosalie had felt last night. He hadnât wanted to listen to her, even
though she wanted to explain to him.
Now, he found himself in the same situation. Was this a kind of
retribution? He hadnât expected it to come so soon. Being
misunderstood and unable to explain oneself was a terrible feeling.
For a moment, Rosalie didnât know what to say. It seemed like this man had trapped her in a
dilemma.
âRose, itâs not what you think. I just helped her into the bathroom, thatâs all. I quickly came out.
Yuvan told me you called, so I came home,â Theodore explained.
From the moment she heard that Theodore and Cynthia were in the bathroom together, Rosalieâs
emotions had been tense, not wanting to know what they were doing in there but unable to stop her
imagination from painting vivid pictures.
Now, hearing the manâs explanation, she finally relaxed, but felt event sadder. Her nose tingled as
tears welled up, and she suddenly felt incredibly upset, realizing that she still had such strong
feelings for this man standing in front of her.
She had felt jealousy and envy, and after hearing his explanation, had even felt joy.
âDonât cry.â Theodore said, lifting his hand to wipe away her tears. You were sick last night and
havenât fully recovered. Please donât get worse. Either wear more clothes or lie down in bed.â
Hearing his gentle voice, Rosalie couldnât control herself anymore and hugged him tightly.
âTheodore, what should I do?â
He looked down at the woman in his arms, feeling a bit lost. âWhatâs wrong?â
âYou always tell me that weâre not divorced yet, but whenever I get close to another man, you get
angry. Have you ever thought about my feelings? When youâre with Cynthia, have you ever
considered that weâre still married? Do you know how I felt hearing from Yuvan that

you and Cynthia were in the bathroom together?â
Rosalie lifted her head, tears welling in her eyes, filled with resentment and grievance. Feeling a
pang in his heart, Theodore gently patted the back of her head.
The bitterness in his voice was palpable as he asked, âWere you jealous? Didnât you say youâd had
enough of me a long time ago?â
âStop bringing up the past! I said those words without thinking! Do you have to hold a grudge
forever? If you insist on holding grudges, then how many grudges do I have to hold against you and
Cynthia?â Rosalie exclaimed.
