“I don’t like this,” Ironskull muttered. “What do we do, Aurora?”

Aurora thought for a moment before responding. “Split up. You two take some men and go support Solana first. Once you’re done, come back and help us corner Aora.”

Both of them nodded in agreement.

“Move fast. I don’t want any surprises,” Aurora reminded them.

With that, Ironskull and Ostrich took off to assist Solana.

Elsewhere, Azure was still on the hunt for the representatives, but something felt wrong.

He had chased them into a basement, only for a thick metal door to slam shut behind them. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t break through.

Realizing he had been tricked, he spun around–only to find Solana waiting for him, backed by a squad of warriors. His exit was completely blocked.

“Huh, I heard you had quite the duel with Anna Letlow last time.”

Solana’s hands rested at her sides, and under the flickering light, the flames dancing at her fingertips gleamed against the metal plating of her new flame–spewing equipment.

Azure sneered. “I held back because she was a woman. What, you want to fight me? Prove you’re better than her?”

It was a cheap taunt, but Azure had no choice. He was cornered, outnumbered. If he could bait her into a one–on–one fight, he might still have a chance.

“In that case, I shall give you an honorable death,” she said, choosing to fight alone instead of ordering the others to fight alongside her.

Without hesitation, she lifted her hands, and with a flick of her wrists, a torrent of flames erupted, engulfing the battlefield in an inferno.

After leaving the Dark Night Islands and joining the Wolf Warrior Unit, Solana had become even stronger. Especially after meeting Eve, who had helped her upgrade her weaponry. “Looks like we have a smart one among us.” Solana grinned, then shifted her expression into one of malice, her voice ice–cold. “Too bad you figured it out too late. Tonight, we’re avenging Rhett and our fallen brothers from the Wolf Warriors. Now–die!”

Solana cranked her gloves to their maximum output, and two streams of fire roared from her palms, surging toward Azure with terrifying ferocity.

Azure was out of options. He had to risk everything. Summoning every ounce of strength, he dove straight through the fire.

“D*mn it! After him!” Solana gritted her teeth and bolted after him, leading the chase.
