“Huh, villains always underestimate the hero. That’s just how the script goes,” Quintus sneered. He seized Aora’s wrist before he could retreat and roared as he swung a devastating punch. “Now die!”

His punch was so powerful that even Aurora, standing dozens of yards away, could feel the wind pressure rushing past her. Her eyes lit up with anticipation, hoping this punch would be the one to finish Aora off.

Yet, despite being at a disadvantage, Aora still managed to counter with a palm strike.

Aurora caught something–just for a split second. A glimmer of red flashed through Aora’s eyes before vanishing as if it had never been there.

The collision sent a shockwave rippling through the air, kicking up a massive cloud of dust. Even Aurora was pushed back by the sheer force of it.

What kind of monsters are these two?! she marveled.

However, as the dust settled, Quintus no longer looked triumphant. Blood dripped from his body, painting the ground beneath him.

“Captain Quintus!” Aurora called out anxiously, stepping forward again.

“Stay back!” Quintus barked stubbornly.

He was determined–this was a one–on–one fight, and he wasn’t going to let anyone interfere.

Aurora stopped in her tracks but kept a sharp gaze on Aora. When she noticed that he, too, had suffered injuries, she finally let out a breath of relief.

A charred, barely recognizable man was stumbling toward him. If not for the voice, he never would have believed it–Azure was burned alive.

“What the hell happened?!” Aora shoved Quintus away and rushed to Azure’s side, slapping out the last embers of fire still clinging to his body.

“Aora… we… we fell into their trap… It was an ambush… we have to run… don’t take the quiet route… head toward the battlefield…” Azure’s voice was weak, barely a whisper. He struggled to deliver as much intel as he could.

“Hang in there, Azure! I’ll get

s out of this!” Aora’s fists clenched. His teeth ground together. But almost immediately, Quintus came crashing down from above, roaring, “Run, my a*s! I’ll send you both straight to hell so your whole d*mn family can reunite sooner!”

Another earth–shattering punch.

Aora had no choice but to take the hit head–on to protect Azure.

The two clashed once again. Deadlock.

But Quintus had lost his mind. He didn’t care how many injuries he had; he just kept throwing punch after punch.

“F*cking hell!”

Aora knew full well that Quintus was fighting to go down with him. This is a total madman!

At this point, Solana and the others were fast approaching.

Seeing that he was about to be completely surrounded, Aora knew he couldn’t afford to keep fighting Quintus. Dragging Azure with one hand, he prepared to leap away.

“Azure!” Aora threw his head back and let out a heart–wrenching roar of grief. His eyes glistened–with tears.

“Huh… you guys were tougher than I expected.” Quintus chuckled, nodding in recognition. “Since you had some fight in you, I’ll give you a moment to grieve before sending you off to join him.”

Aora didn’t respond. He simply lowered his head, staring at the lifeless body of his last brother as his eyes gradually turned red, blood–red. His bloodstained face and his burning rage became one.

“I’ll kill you all!” Aora’s voice roared through the battlefield.

Solana, Aurora, and the others stiffened, clearly sensing the change in his aura. In a hurry, they shouted, “Captain Quintus! Be careful!”

Retreating Quintus didn’t need anyone to tell him that, for he, too, felt the obvious change in the atmosphere–Aora’s presence had become ice–cold.

“You b*stard–I’ll tear you apart!” Aora lunged–arriving before Quintus almost instantly.

Quintus hurriedly raised his arms in defense, but much to his dismay, Aora’s internal strength skyrocketed.

Before, they had been evenly matched, but now, Quintus felt like he was being crushed beneath a tidal

wave.

He coughed violently–blood spewing from his mouth.

What the f*ck?! His mind raced. Has this b*stard been hiding his true power this whole time?!

“Captain Quintus!”

Solana rushed forward, unleashing a wave of fire at Aora, who simply swiped his arm, sending a pulse of internal strength that redirected her flames elsewhere before using the moment of distraction to strike Quintus in the chest.

Quintus was sent flying, smashing through obstacle after obstacle until he finally burst through a solid wall, disappearing into the wreckage beyond.

Quintus, covered in blood and barely able to stand, looked utterly wretched. Yet, he still managed to squeeze out a grin. “Your fight is with me… you son of a b*tch!”

Aora’s expression twisted into pure rage. With a furious roar, he snarled, “Then I’ll tear you to pieces first!”

As Aora lunged toward him, Quintus knew he had no strength left to resist. With a subtle glance, he signaled Solana to retreat. But Solana stood frozen, her body trembling so violently that she couldn’t even move to save him.

At that critical moment, a startled voice rang out beside Quintus.
