Beatrix’s car was the last to arrive. The moment she stepped out, she practically bounced her way toward her sister, flinging herself straight into Mackenzie’s arms.

Even in her twenties, she still carried the energy of a little girl.

“Not here–everyone’s watching,” Mackenzie gently patted her back and pulled her away, straightening her

Mackenzie’s simple praise was enough to send her little sister into a state of pure joy.

Just as the representatives from Nuthana were finally all accounted for, a red Bentley rolled up to the

scene.

At the sight of the familiar car, both Emmanuel and Mackenzie lit up, emotions swirling in their eyes.

Sure enough, as the vehicle came to a halt, a familiar elder stepped out, followed by Frederick and Shane.

“Grandpa!” Emmanuel and Mackenzie immediately strode forward to greet him.

Terence welcomed them with a warm, knowing smile.

“Grandpa, we owe it all to you! Everyone made it safely to Zovince. I heard that Gautier stationed at number of assassins in Nuthana to take you out before you even boarded the plane!” Mackenzie said, a trace of lingering fear in her voice.

“Hah! That kid is crafty, no doubt. But I’ve dealt with the Verkades for decades–he can’t so much as lift a finger without me knowing what he’s planning,” Terence dismissed the threat with a wave of his hand, utterly unfazed.

Nearby, Stanley burst into laughter. “You really are the old fox everyone says you are. If you’d ever had the mind to enter politics back in the day, there wouldn’t even be a place for that little snake Teddy Tanner now!”

“Oh, come on, you flatter me,” Terence chuckled modestly before grinning. “But you’re absolutely right! Haha!”

“Uh…”

For a moment, everyone was stunned. Then, as realization dawned, they all burst into laughter.

Just then, Emmanuel received a call from Quintus. After listening to the report, his expression turned complicated. He simply responded, “Got it. Meet us at the Chapman Crest Hotel.”

After ending the call, he turned to address the group. “The representatives from the West End have arrived in Zovince by helicopter. But unfortunately, Mr. Willy and Mr. Quail were taken out by Tanner’s people

Regardless of their personal relationships, they had all backed Mackenzie in this fight. If she won, they would thrive; if she lost, Teddy would crush them without hesitation.

More than that, they understood that this election for the Chamber of Commerce was tied directly to the upcoming presidential election in a week. If Catherine Zelinsky secured her position, then their days of prosperity would be over.

Even if they had never been close to Ken or Anthony, their loss still weighed on them.

“Everyone, don’t be discouraged. I truly believe we will prevail in the end!” Mackenzie spoke up, a confident smile on her face as she rallied the group. “If Ken Willy could betray Teddy Tanner, who’s to say tomorrow won’t bring another unexpected shift in votes? I still believe that justice will triumph!”

“Yes! Justice will triumph!” Angela quickly echoed her words.

“Justice will triumph!” The others joined in, their voices rising together in conviction.

It was a little dramatic, maybe even cliche–but in moments like this, did originality really matter? What mattered was the impact.

“Alright, let’s head to the Chapman Crest Hotel. Emmanuel and I have arranged a banquet to welcome everyone properly,” Mackenzie continued. “Eat, drink, and rest well tonight–tomorrow, we head to the Chamber of Commerce with our full strength!”

Hearing that, the group perked up immediately.

“The Chapman Crest Hotel? That’s the best hotel in the entire country–nothing else even comes close!”

“Of course, it belongs to the Chapman family, the wealthiest in the nation. How could it not be top–tier?”

“Let’s go! We have to see it for ourselves!”

With excitement buzzing through the air, the group set off.

At last, the representatives from the Nuthana and West End Chambers of Commerce converged at the Chapman Crest Hotel.

There was no need for small talk–the group simply followed Emmanuel and Mackenzie inside.

This wasn’t just any hotel. The Chapman Crest Hotel was a sprawling luxury complex covering thousands of acres in Zone 3 of Zovince, where land was worth its weight in gold.

Everyone present was a person of status, especially the Nuthana representatives, who prided themselves on their wealth. And yet, even they were in awe of the opulence before them.

The sheer cost of the land alone was beyond their comprehension, not to mention the grand, gilded architecture and the priceless antiques and art that adorned the halls.

The Chapman family–known as the wealthiest in the world–had clearly earned that reputation, not just through words but sheer undeniable wealth.

As soon as the group saw Nathan and Veronica standing at the entrance, personally welcoming Emmanuel, a wave of confidence surged through the Nuthana representatives.

With backing from the Chapmans, Mackenzie’s odds of victory had just skyrocketed.

“Welcome, Mr. Lowe, Ms. Quillen, everyone,” Veronica greeted them warmly.

“You’re too kind, Ms. Veronica. I truly appreciate your hospitality,” Mackenzie responded humbly. She had met Nathan before, but this was her first time dealing with his sister–one of the famed Four Beauties of Zovince. Naturally, she remained respectful and diplomatic.

“Your banquet and rooms have been prepared. Please, come in.” Veronica smiled, making a simple yet inviting gesture.

“Thank you,” Mackenzie said on behalf of the group.

Just as they stepped inside, what they thought would be a smooth transition was interrupted by a sudden commotion outside.

A large group approached from behind–matching them in numbers but arriving with even greater pomp and spectacle.

“Look–that’s the Onza delegation!”

“And the representatives from Zovince as well!”

Several of the Chamber of Commerce members on Emmanuel’s side immediately recognized the newcomers. They had all attended past national conferences together–faces that were hard to forget.

Emmanuel and Mackenzie frowned. What were the odds that they would all arrive at the same time?

To the locals in Zovince, this new group undoubtedly carried more influence than they did, for they spotted her–Yuna, one of the Four Beauties of Zovince.

Not only that, but among the crowd were Chiara and Wyatt.

As if that wasn’t shocking enough, Emmanuel and his allies then caught sight of Magnus and Hattie.

Their eyes widened in disbelief.

The Zelinsky siblings–former allies who had once fought alongside them against the Five Poison Sect- now stood on the opposite side?

And to top it all off, leading this entire contingent was none other than Gautier.

The moment Emmanuel and Mackenzie laid eyes on him, their expressions darkened. It was becoming clear that the real battle was beginning right here, right now.

“Emmanuel, Mackenzie, long time no see,” Gautier said smoothly, showing no fear. He knew full well Emmanuel wouldn’t make a move against him–at least not at the moment.

Neither Emmanuel nor Mackenzie responded to him. Their eyes were locked on the Zelinsky siblings standing behind him.

Emmanuel, in particular, had never fully trusted Magnus. And now, seeing this unfold, his face hardened.
