Eve quickly stepped forward, curiosity in her voice. “Sir, why did you come to the rescue again? Did Emmanuel send you?”

“No, he trusts Quintus enough not to bother. But I didn’t expect so many of you to struggle against those two brats!”

Quintus instantly scowled, clicking his tongue in defiance.

“I just heard you were heading to Zovince and figured I’d hitch a ride!” Santiago admitted bluntly,

Aurora let out a relieved sigh. “Thank God you showed up! Otherwise, we would’ve been in serious trouble!”

“Alright, enough talk. Tend to the wounded first!” Santiago ordered without hesitation.

Eve and Aurora immediately got to work, helping the injured.

Meanwhile, Santiago bent down to retrieve his Dragon Spear, letting out a quiet sigh. Looks like Emmanuel is going to have a new formidable enemy soon. Will he be able to handle what’s coming in Zovince?

With Aora defeated, the armed forces disguised as West End bandits quickly retreated.

This battle had been brutal. Once the battlefield was cleared, the final tally was grim–119 enemy combatants dead, plus Azure, making it an even 120.

The Wolf Warrior Unit had casualties as well, but their losses were only a tenth of the enemy’s. Dozens of their soldiers were injured. As for the representatives, only Anthony and Ken had fallen.

Solana and Aurora wanted to check in with Quintus and ask what their next move should be. Should they depart for Zovince immediately?

But as they reached the doorway to a room, Eve raised a hand, silently signaling them not to enter yet.

Just as he muttered to himself, Eve entered the room. “You need to take the team to Zovince. This is bigger than us. I’ll stay and take care of Libby–I won’t let her die.”

“But this–that–sigh!” Quintus struggled for words but eventually nodded and left the room.

Moments later, a helicopter lifted off into the night sky, headed straight for Zovince.

When he heard that Azure was dead, Teddy let out a long sigh.

“My condolences, Mr. Tanner” Levi said at once, trying to console him. “As long as we defeat Emmanuet Lowe and Mackenzie Quillen, we’ll have full control over Chamaest. At that point, we can cultivate as many top–tier envoys as we want it’s not a problem at all!”

“You’re not wrong.” Teddy wasn’t exactly grieving, but there was a hint of regret in his tone. “They were fiercely loyal to me. It’s a shame to lose them”

“Loyalty isn’t hard to come by, Mr. Tanner,” Levi assured him confidently, “Once we find the right talents, I’ll make sure they pledge their unwavering allegiance to you!”

Brainwashing techniques had been perfected on the other side of the world for years–they had mastered them down to a science.

“Fine,” Teddy exhaled heavily, maintaining an expression of sorrow and indignation.

Seeing his reaction, Levi quickly shared some good news. “Although we suffered losses, at least we didn’t return empty–handed. We finally eliminated the two traitors, Willy and Quail!”

“Good!” Teddy clenched his fist and slammed it against the table, his expression filled with a rare intensity.

If there was one thing he despised the most, it was betrayal. And those two had not only turned their backs on him but had also sabotaged his plans, shaking the very foundation of his power.

“Haha, this changes everything! No matter how many victories Mackenzie racked up before, it’s all meaningless now. We still hold the advantage!” Levi grinned.

Teddy nodded but still issued a cautious order. “We can’t let our guard down. If we can make a couple of Mackenzie’s representatives meet an untimely end before the election, then our position will be even more

secure.”

His meaning was clear–they had to take out Mackenzie’s people before the election.

Levi understood immediately and bowed slightly. “Yes, Mr. Tanner.”

Acknowledging it was easy, but he knew it wouldn’t be that simple. Once inside Zovince, any mishap would be magnified tenfold.

On top of that, Emmanuel was personally stationed there. If they couldn’t even take him out before, how could they possibly kill one of his people now?

Still, an order was an order. At the very least, Levi had to make an attempt–even if it was just for show.

At that moment, while the two spoke in secrecy, Gautier arrived at the perimeter.

He waited outside until daybreak before finally stepping into Teddy’s estate to request an audience.

“Master, you and Mr. Lestrange have countless pressing matters to handle. Why not leave this trivial task to me? You only need to make an appearance tonight–that would be more than enough,” Gautier volunteered.

“Alright, I’ll leave it to you.” Teddy agreed readily, walking over and giving him a hearty pat on the shoulder. “No need to report back on the details–I trust your judgment.”

“Thank you for your faith in me, Master.” Gautier bowed slightly in gratitude, but a flicker of sharp intent passed through his eyes.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel and Mackenzie were already stationed at the entrance of the Terence Group Subsidiary, awaiting their guests.

Before long, a convoy of vehicles rolled in.

The first car’s doors swung open, revealing a striking young woman supporting an elderly man.

“Old Mr. Silverbane, Ms. Silverbane, it’s been a while,” Emmanuel greeted them warmly, stepping forward alongside Mackenzie.

Seeing old friends again brought a rare moment of relief to the couple. But before they could exchange more than a few words, other representatives from Nuthana began arriving one after another.

Emmanuel and Mackenzie let out a breath of relief. Terence’s strategy–using misdirection, dispersing the forces, and a carefully executed decoy maneuver–had worked.
