Eddy suddenly changed his mind and added, “I also came to ask my ex–fiancée if she needed any help.” He sounded very mysterious.

Eddy’s lips curled up into a mocking smile. He asked, “A PR team? Where did you get them? You’re not being scammed, are you?”

“Star King PR,” Caroline calmly replied.

Both Susan and Eddy were shocked. They looked at Caroline in disbelief.

Immediately, Susan scoffed. “Caroline, you don’t have to lie to Mr. Eddy just to anger him. Star King PR only handles PR for celebrities. They wouldn’t bat an eye toward anyone who isn’t an A–lister.”

Eddy thought Caroline was lying as well. He was about to say something when a large group of people walked into the design department. All of them were wearing suits and leather shoes with an elegant bearing.

The woman leading them walked to the door of Caroline’s office. She knocked on the door and nodded politely at Caroline. “Excuse me, are you Ms. Caroline Evans?”
