Chapter 395
My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball
Chapter 395 Raising Suspicion Andrius spent a good portion of his might before he managed to lift the unpleasant atmosphere that he caused just now before discussing with Rosalie about the pharmaceutical industry in Coast City at the present day.
Rosalie also conversed with him patiently.
Byron, who was beside him, did not speak again. He just drank his wine without saying a word.
Seeing that they had finished most of the wine in the bottle, Andrius hurriedly ended the dinner. âItâs getting late. Letâs just end things here today. Iâll have the medicinal materials businesses decide the time as soon as possible.â
Rosalie did not want to stay any longer either, so she unequivocally agreed.
The three of them went downstairs side by side. Rosalie was about to pay the tab but was stopped by Andrius.
âI was just kidding the last time. How can I allow you to treat me? If my grandfather finds out about this, heâll lecture me again.â
Saying that, Andrius quickly went over to settle the bill. He then turned around and walked to Byronâs side before raising a brow at him earnestly.
Byron frowned but said nothing.
Hearing him bring the old master up and seeing that money was really nothing to Andrius, Rosalie decided not to be so courteous.
It was almost nine oâclock when they came out of the restaurant.
Although they were acquaintances, Rosalie had still drunk a lot of wine at the dinner table and was a little intoxicated. The sweeping nighttime breeze served to wake her up quite a bit.
Andriusâs voice sounded in her ears. âHow are you going back? Would you like me to send you back?â
Rosalie had driven by herself. As she had been drinking, she naturally could not drive back.
Hearing this, Rosalie looked up and glanced at the traffic. âThank you for your kindness, Young Master Quirke, but the Quirke household is not along the way to mine. I wonât bother you. Iâll just take a taxi by myself.â
After saying that, she took off and walked to the side of the road.
Andrius glanced at the person beside him.
Byron frowned and looked at Rosalieâs slender back in the night. His gaze darkened.
âIt happens to be evening rush hour now. I donât know how long itâll take before you get a taxi, rd better give you a ride. Besides, the car is the one running, not US.â Andrius quickly stopped Rosalie.
Rosalie paused slightly. Andrius had just done her such a big favor. It would be inappropriate if she were to shirk this trivial matter as well.
Seeing her hesitation, Andrius added with a smile, â Thereâs no need to be so courteous with me. The old master knows that I went out to have dinner with you and specifically informed me to take good care of you.
II Rosalie could not refuse him anymore, so she turned around and walked over while smiling politely at him.
âThank you for the trouble, then.â
Andrius waved his hands repeatedly. âItâs no trouble. If you hadnât agreed to let me send you back, that wouldâve been trouble!â
Saying that, he looked at Byron beside him meaningfully.
Rosalie did not catch what he meant in between the lines. She just thought he was talking about old Master Quirke and smiled without answering.
The three of them walked to the parking lot side by side.
When they got to the parking lot, Rosalie realized that Byron had been with them the entire way and found it a little strange.
When they got to the car, she saw that Byronâs car was parked next to Andriusâ car. Suspicion arose in her heart.
Andriusâ so-called coincidental meeting just now was actually an excuse. Both of them had practically come together!
This speculation flashed through Rosalieâs heart.
On second thought, there did not seem to be a need for Andrius to tell this lie.
This was considering he was unaware of her relationship with Byron. Hence, him doing all this would be superfluous.
Rosalie did not think about it anymore, she just followed Andrius into the car.
