to do better than I would,” Charles said, tapping his fingers on the desk. “I have other work to attend

to. Ronald will handle everything for you.”

surprised that a mere assistant had the authority to manage an entire company. “Thank you,

“Mm.” Charles waved him off, signaling for Ronald to take him out.

drink. “Thank you, Mr. Wells,” he said, trying to be polite.

of what you need?” Ronald asked.
