Chapter 712
Comeback Of The Adored Heiress
Chapter 712:
Yolanda stood at the door, banging on it angrily, âOpen the door!â
âNo, donât!â Savannah screamed from inside.
Her miserable cry squeezed Yolandaâs heart with a tight grip. âSavannah, whatâs going on in there? Andrew, Iâm warning youâif you dare hurt Savannah, Iâll kill you.â There was no response from inside.
Yolanda turned to the crowd, her chest tightening with anxiety. âIâm sorry, everyone. Please return to your places,â she said, her voice steady despite the tension.
Given the gravity of the royal scandal, no one dared stay and continue watching. The crowd silently dispersed.
Once the guests had finally left, Yolanda turned to Babette, barely able to hold back her rising fury. âBabette, what on earth were you thinking? This is a massive incident, and yet you just let everyone linger? Why didnât you send them away immediately?â
If Babette had done her job properly, they wouldnât have ended up as the center of everyoneâs ridicule, humiliated in front of so many eyes. The reputation of the royal family was everythingâit was something that simply couldnât be tarnished.
Babette, on the other hand, remained completely calm.
âMaybe I should be asking you about Savannah and Andrew instead. Didnât you claim they were truly in love?â
Yolandaâs face briefly betrayed a hint of guilt, but she quickly pushed it aside. âOf course they are. Savannahâs a kind-hearted, gentle girl,â she responded.
Her gaze shifted toward the door, her eyes filled with worry. âAndrew, come out here this instant. Just tell me what youâre after!â
She knocked firmly on the door, and it slowly creaked open. However, Yolanda froze in shock as Andrew seized Savannah and leapt straight out of the window with her.
âAh!â Yolanda cried, rushing forward in horror.
This was her only daughterâher precious Savannah.
âââ¡â â¤ââââ£â⢠ââ ââââââ¥âââ¢.âââ
Yolanda rushed to the window, her heart pounding. Only when she saw them land safely did she exhale a shaky breath of relief, grateful that Savannah had made it through.
But her relief quickly shifted to horror as she took in Savannahâs conditionâher clothes were smeared with blood, stark evidence of the brutal lashings she had endured.
Yolanda could hardly breathe.
Her beloved daughter, her princess, had never endured anything so cruel in her life.
âAndrew Klein!â Yolanda shouted, her voice full of raw anger.
âGet a car ready for me right now, or sheâs dead,â Andrew demanded, his voice chillingly calm. His striking features took on a sinister edge, making him appear even more threatening.
Yolanda clenched her teeth, a fierce desire to end Andrew herself battling with the helplessness of knowing he still had Savannah at his mercy.
âAh! Mom, help me!â Savannah cried out.
