“He’s here as my guest,” Babette answered coldly.

Yolanda, realizing it was wiser to stay quiet, held her tongue.

Patty, who had been watching everything unfold, stood in stunned silence. She never could have imagined that Savannah’s engagement party would devolve into such a disaster.
