DEATH IS COMING FOR YOU!

BLOOD MOON: The Lycan Alpha's Little Witch

Dimitri Point of view

"Alpha, the lunar eclipse energy can be felt like no other. This will be the last eclipse before the eleventh blood moon, I am afraid of the devastating dark tides it will bring." Celeste told me with the fear dominating in her voice.

The lunar eclipse was just two days away and even I could feel its energy calling out to the darkness within, feeding it. It was going to be harder to control Cessair. That was the name that the darkness that I was cursed with preferred to be called.

"How about the lead we found with the shamans to break the curse?" I asked looking up at Lance, he also had a look of disappointment written all over his face.

"It was another dead end. Alpha I fear that our only hope is Luna. According to the prophecy she would be our salvation, we have to believe that."

"Or our destruction. I say we find another way." Alaric said. I was growing impatient with his loose tongue, he needed to learn to show respect to my mate or I will have to teach him.

"What other way is there? We have sought every possible solution. As the pack's head witch I advise that we tell her. Only she can save us now."

"I wouldn't put all my trust in a Luna that the prophecy already warned us about. I mean look at the trouble she is already bringing in with the monsters." Alaric said, tugging violently at the last string of patience I had with him.

"Watch your tongue Alaric or I'll rip it off your bloody throat." I growled at Alaric.

"Sorry Alpha, I spoke out of tongue." He apologized with a bow.

"The decision to take still remains with Alpha, whatever decision you make I'm sure it will be what's best." Gabe spoke.

Even though I hated it, there was only one decision to take. I had to tell her everything regardless of the prophecy. Prophecies be damned, Isabelle needs to hear the truth first from me.

Isabelle's Point Of View

It was already midnight but I couldn't sleep, Andres' revelation kept me awake. That's when I heard a tap on my door followed by a shuffling of a piece of paper. A note slipped underneath and I went to see what it read.

'Come meet me at the top Balcony' I read mentally.

There on the balcony was Dimitri, he was standing there staring into the dark night.

"I guess I'm not the only one having trouble sleeping tonight." Dimitri said, turning to me.

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep knowing that you and the pack are under a curse that no one told me about." I quipped, earning a surprised look from him. I was frustrated with him. How could he hide that from me, something as serious as a curse, I'm his mate for Pete's sake.

"I'm sorry Belle, for not hearing it from me first. But I was trying to protect you." He admitted, "This curse has nothing to do with you. You don't deserve to carry a burden that isn't your fault." His voice was heavy, as if it was ridden with regret.

"Why not tell me about it first and let me decide on that." I tell him, placing my hand on his face.

"Do you want to go for a walk?" He asks with a small smile.

I nod as we start our walk wherever our path takes us and it takes us to somewhere deep into the woods.

"I have never explored this side of the pack before." I told him in all honesty as I walked ahead admiring the scenery. This part of the pack felt like unchartered territory to me. It was a beautiful clearing path, filled with lots of flowers and green plants. Nature felt alive here.

"No one really knows this area exists. Just me and you." He said with a smirk, watching me skip ahead.

"So are you going to finally let me in on the big pack secret curse?" I asked, walking ahead. I could sense that he stopped moving. He stopped on his tracks. I watched him with concern as he began to speak.

"The curse started years ago during a time that I'm not really proud of. I was known as the Blood Alpha, an alpha burning with rage, that leaves a pile of destruction in his wake." I was bewildered at the version of himself he described to me, that seemed nothing like the Dimitri I knew. He took a small pause looking me in the eyes, "I messed with a very powerful Sharman named Cerile, I killed her betrothed." He drops it on me.

"With her last breath she cursed me with a death spell. I am fated to die on the eleventh blood moon and as a punishment for the pain I cursed her, she linked my life force with that of my pack, so when I die, so will every wolf of the Blood moon pack." He finally says, looking down at the ground. "And on every lunar eclipse there's this dark side in me that takes control, I'm never in control of whatever happens." I didn't notice the tears when they rolled down my cheek. I tried to get close to him but he stepped back, pushing me away.

"Stay away Belle. Don't you see? I am a monster." He spat. "I ruin everything I touch."

"Dimitri didn't say that. You're not a monster." I told him in a whisper. I didn't care about whatever perspective the world had of him but I knew that in this crazy world full of monsters, Dimitri wasn't one of them. He was one of the good guys.

"Yes I am Isabelle. Everyone has a monster in them and we are responsible for what they do when we let them out." He said the pain was evident in his voice. This is the reason he chose to keep it a secret from me. He chose to hide it because he was afraid that I'll see him just like how the world does, as a monster.

"That's why you never wanted to tell me. You were scared of me finding out about the things you did. Weren't you?" I said, the look on his face saying I was right. I "Look at me Dimitri," I lifted his gaze towards mine.

"Maybe you are a monster, but in my eyes you are not. You are one of the good guys." I said assuring with a smile, planting a kiss on his forehead.

"Thank you Belle." He whispered, swallowing me in a hug. I could feel the relief that washed over him that I didn't see him as a monster.

After our long walk we made it back home. I was along a dimly lit corridor, on my way to my room when I had a very eerie feeling, I was being watched in the shadows by someone.

My eyes observed the surroundings around me closely but I couldn't see anyone there with me, but I could feel a dark magic present.

In a twinkle of an eye, a dagger was sent aiming for my head and it would have been successful if I didn't sense it coming on time to be able to step out of the way. It only managed to braze my cheeks, causing a trail of blood to flow down to my chin.

'Someone just tried to kill me!' my eyes swiftly scanned my environment. I quickly took of my binding bracelet activating my witch powers, "pitroluem… Illuminadà!" I echoed, filling the corridor with a bright ball of mystical light.

"Why don't you quit playing this bloody game and show yourself!" my words rang through with no reply. Only thing that I heard was an impish snicker coming from all around.

I took the dagger that stuck on the wall. I stared with a pounding heart as a writing slowly began to appear.

'Next time I'll be aiming for your heart.'

I watched how quickly the words disappeared. This was magic. My deep blue eyes traveled to the helm of the dagger at the familiar symbol of a serpent biting its own tail. The red circle, it's them.

Another message began to form on the dagger.

I let out a small shudder as I read the words etched on it aloud.

"DEATH IS COMING FOR YOU!"

I let out a gasp, dropping the dagger as it cried out upon landing.

'They have found me!'

Fuck!!!

The red circle has found me.
