"His Bindani "

As per the promise chapter is here yrra's 💗

As I stood there, finally done cooking my Maggie, I turned to look at him—only to find him smiling. Ab ye kya ho gaya? (Now what happened?) Kaisi hur ki pari dekh li inhone jo itne muskuraye ja rahe hain? (Which fairy did he just see that made him smile like this?) Oh God, ye kaisa pati mila hai mujhe! (Oh God, what kind of husband did I get!)

I narrowed my eyes as I noticed his gaze fixed on my bowl, not me. Bhai, ab kya ho gaya? (Bro, now what happened?) And then he spoke.

"Raat mein khana nahi khana na?" ("We’re not supposed to eat at night, right?")

Bas. Ye sunte hi, maine bhi usi ke tone mein wahi line wapas kar di. (That’s it. The moment I heard that, I repeated the same line in his tone.) Ab kya scene hai? Pehle khane se roka, ab Maggie dekh ke stare kar rahe ho. (What’s the scene now? First, you told me not to eat, and now you’re staring at my Maggie.)

Maine bina kuch aur bole apni bowl uthai aur seedha room ki taraf chal di. (Without saying another word, I picked up my bowl and walked straight to my room.) Meko yahi khaana hai, yaha nahi. (I want to eat here, not in this corridor.) Ye corridor itna bada hai, mujhe comfortable feel nahi ho raha. (This corridor is so big, I don’t feel comfortable here.) Room is the best option right now.

As I walked ahead, I didn’t feel him following me. But when I glanced back, there he was—scratching his head like a clueless baby. I thought to myself, Is bachhe ko kaun raja banaya re? (Who made this kid a king?) and kept moving forward, only to feel him right against me a moment later.

He gestured for me to stop.

Before I could react, he pulled me into his arms, lifting me effortlessly. Thankfully, the hot Maggie bowl didn’t fall—not on the ground, not on him, and not on me. I sighed in relief, Jaan le leti inki warna! (Otherwise, it would’ve taken his life!) Medicine baad mein deti… (I would’ve given him medicine later…)

"Nothing," he said, "I was just thinking, my queen."

As if I didn’t know he could even think. So, pretending to be surprised, I asked, "You actually think?"

And the way he innocently replied, "Ji," uff—sometimes he’s just too cute! Awww, kya pati diya hai Bhagwan! (Awww, what a husband God has given me!) Ummmaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! (A dramatic kiss in my head!)

I really didn’t want to say anything, just wanted to live in the moment. But he’d feel bad if I didn’t reply, right? So, I simply said, "Kahiye," (Go ahead, say it) even though all I wanted was to enjoy this moment in silence.

And then he started walking slowly—so slowly that I had to wonder, Is he really a man or just a kid, Ram ji…? (God, is he really a man or just a kid…?)

He spoke, but his eyes were completely focused on the steaming bowl of Maggie in my hands. Even I had no idea what he was trying to do—my cute husband.

And then he said, "If my queen will eat, then why can’t I…?"

Aur yaha hum pigal gaye—Maan gaye aapko, Hukkum ji… baat toh hai… (And here I melted—You won, my lord… You have a point…)

But I still wasn’t sure about his true intentions regarding my Maggie. So even after settling down on the bed, I didn’t give him a single chance to handle my bowl—not even dared to let him touch it!

Because I had seen him in the evening—I know he’s a fast eater. Ha! He could probably eat this boiling hot Maggie in 0.5 seconds flat, without even blinking. And me? I can’t take a risk with my tummy! Bilkul bhi nahi! (Not at all!) I am not cooking again. Bhagwan ji… please help me with my food! (God, please protect my food!)

So, I very clearly explained to him what was on my mind, leaving no room for confusion. Ab agar ye kya sochega, ye bhi mai soch lun… toh ye kya sochega? (Now, if I start thinking about what he will think, then what will he think?) Not my problem, bilkul bhi nahi! (Not at all!)

I just gave him a sharp look, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Ha ha, thik hai?" (Okay, okay, happy now?) before dramatically ordering him to sit next to me.

I’m not that bad, guysss! Sachiii! (Really!)

I can share my food, but only with me! Because he’s cute? Nahi! (No!) Because he’s my king. I smiled internally at my overdramatic thoughts. Kya baat hai, hum toh filmy hote ja rahe hain! (Wow, I’m becoming more and more filmy!)

Yummmmmm! As I took the first bite, lovely… Maan toh kar raha hai jisne banaya hai uske haath chhup lu! (I feel like hiding the hands of the one who made this!) Kya banaya hai… laaajwab… shandaar… waah waah… (What a masterpiece… extraordinary… just wow wow!)

"You deserve a puraskar, Miss!" (You deserve an award, Miss!) I proudly praised myself internally, taking another bite. Meanwhile, he sat there—completely lost in himself.

Only to completely surprise me, his thumb gently brushed against my lips, slowly wiping away the masala. My breath hitched. But what truly sent shivers down my spine was what he did next—he licked his own thumb.

That wasn’t enough, though. His eyes fluttered shut for a moment as he felt the taste—his expression so intense that I forgot to breathe.

Ohhh God… what is this man doing to me? My lips suddenly felt dry, my throat craved water. No, no, Siya! You can’t just lose yourself… noooo!

But he was the reason behind all this, na? Maan toh kar raha hai ek khich ke laga du! (I swear, I feel like smacking him hard!)

Hehehehehheheh! But no—there was a better way. Dheere se toh maar hi sakti hu… (I can at least hit him softly…)

I smirked to myself as a perfectly evil idea lingered in my brain.

And I slowly slapped his cheek, just enough to make him snap out of whatever trance he was in. His eyes flew open in a sudden shift, completely confused about what had just happened to him.

"Drama queen. Khao ab." (Drama queen. Now eat.)

I don’t even know why I said that, but honestly, he was truly behaving like one! I had nothing left to say.

Meanwhile, I was desperately trying to control my laughter—his utterly confused expressions and my own unexpected words were just too much!

To cover up, I scooped up a spoonful of Maggie and gently placed it in his mouth. His one hand was still resting on his cheek, exactly where I had softly slapped him. And God—he looked even cuter now!

I ate quickly, taking advantage of the fact that he was lost in his thoughts. But no worries, guys, I did share with him!

As soon as I finished my Maggie, I thought about putting the plate on the table before going to sleep. But before I could, he did it for me. Haye, kitna caring hai! (Aww, how caring!) So, without another thought, I slipped under the duvet, ready to sleep.

And within seconds, I was in deep sleep.

The next morning, as my eyes slowly opened, I felt something down there, making my eyes shoot open in panic. But before my heart could race any further, my breath steadied as his face came into view.

He was still holding me by my waist, just like last night… Uff.

For a moment, I just adored him—his peaceful face, his steady breaths, the way he looked so innocent in his sleep. But then, snapping out of my thoughts, I slowly started removing his hands. He must not wake up right now, at least!

As soon as I managed to slip out of bed, my first instinct was to check my clothes. I found no stains, but I knew they had to be somewhere. My eyes flickered back to him—still deep asleep.

Not wasting another second, I ran into the bathroom to check properly.

And yes, they were there.

I let out a sigh and stepped into the warm water, letting it relax my body. I don’t know for how long I stayed under the shower, but the moment I stepped out, I felt lighter—as if I had washed away not just the exhaustion but also the weight of my thoughts.

Wearing a simple kurta with palazzo, I stepped back into the room. No heavy outfits today, I had no mood to carry anything except for my dripping wet hair, the choodas he had given me—ones that now felt as if my life depended on them—and of course, my sindoor-filled hairline and mangalsutra.

I know this marriage was not done with my hands or my wish. But still, I know how to respect my culture and traditions.

As soon as my eyes landed on the sight in front of me, I was completely shocked. What the hell…?

How can someone do something like this to anyone? How…?

I couldn't even imagine such cruelty, and before I knew it, an overwhelming urge to cry took over me. My vision blurred as tears slipped from my eyes.

And just then, Raghav appeared out of nowhere—stepping in front of me and pulling me into his arms. His grip was tight, secure—like he wanted to shield me from everything.

But even as I buried myself in his embrace, the scene before me kept flashing in my mind, making me cry even more.

"Whyyy, God…?"
